Cars24 Verified Seller Scam Alert
Recently, I was surfing Cars24 for a friend(He has 0 knowledge in car) for 7 seater car. I found a steal deal in Hyundai Santa Fe. The seller was based in Ahmedabad(We are based in Surat). Cars24 claimed that they have complete service record and mileage history available with them as a part of their report and they claimed that the odometer was not tampered with. I connected with seller, He sent me RC pictures and Cars current pictures. The car's condition looked too good to be 10 years old. So, For accidental verification. I searched the service history on Carwise. com. And Lo behold, The car was driven 205,000 kms back in 2023. The odometer was definitely tempered with, Since I called the dealer named on carwise and they confirmed the service record. I reported on cars24, they seem to not care about it. I am attaching evidences below for everyone's reference.
Edit: This is not a promotional post for carwise, It is just that Gemini suggested me this as per my requirements. The motto is that, please check the history of the vehicle before you buy them. There are many platforms available in market, use them as per your usecase.

Tired of being approached and then ghosted. Is this normal?
Someone approaches me, we talk for hours — sometimes days — and then just… nothing. No explanation, no closure, just silence. Like I never existed.
I’m always the one who shows up fully. I put in effort, I ask questions, I actually listen. And somehow that’s still not enough to get a basic goodbye.
I’m also not the most conventionally good looking person — I know that. But I’m not just sitting with it either. I’m training to get fit, doing skincare, actively working on becoming a better version of myself. And yet people still just quietly disappear without a word. It’s not about compatibility. It’s just superficiality dressed up as “not feeling it.”
Just be straight with me. I can handle rejection. What I can’t handle is being left in the middle of a conversation.
Rant over.
Thank you for reading.
25 [M4F] Surat/Anywhere - Looking for forever.
25M | Jain | Surat | Jeweller
I often ask myself — would my 10 year old self be satisfied with where I am today? I don’t always have a clean answer. But I think that’s what keeps me honest.
Born and raised in Surat. I’m a first-generation jeweller and diamantaire — the trade chose me as much as I chose it, and I’ve never looked back. Currently building my own jewellery brand alongside, with entrepreneurial prospects in hospitality and finance. BBA graduate, started an MBA and decided it wasn’t the path for me. No regrets — I’d rather build than study how to.
We’re a family of four. Father is a stockbroker, mother manages the home and does it remarkably well, younger brother still studying. Close-knit, involved in each other’s lives without being in each other’s business.
My relationship with faith is something I hold close. I go to the derasar every day. I practice olis. But I’ll be honest, I’m somewhat paradoxical when it comes to — I eat regular food. What I believe in deeply is the spirit of Jainism — Jivdaya, compassion for every living being, and Manav-bhakti, serving humanity. To me, God lives in that — in how you treat people, in how gently you move through the world. That’s where my faith actually sits.
Outside work — I read, travel when I can, and genuinely enjoy long drives. Good music, open road, no destination pressure. I write occasionally, nothing I’d publish. I like picking up new things just out of curiosity. People matter to me — I’m someone who actually listens when you talk, and I naturally gravitate towards taking care of those around me. If someone’s going through something, I’d rather sit with them in it than offer empty words. I feel things deeply — joy, grief, love, all of it — and I’ve never really known how to do it any other way. Friends say I have a warmth about me, and I think that’s the thing I’m most glad to be known for. Also, I'm into fitness currently training under am IFBB pro athlete.
And yes — I’m an old-school Bollywood style lover. The kind who means it. Not a grand gesture person necessarily, but the kind who remembers the small things, who shows up, who doesn’t love halfway.
I’ll be upfront — I’ve been called boring. I’ve been ghosted more times than I’d like to admit. I don’t have a flashy personality that fills up a room. What I do have is consistency, depth, and the kind of care that doesn’t disappear when things get inconvenient. If that’s boring, I’ll take it.
Mine has been a life of almosts, maybes and regrets — people who walked away, moments that didn’t quite work out, phases that were harder than I let on. I’m not perfect and I don’t claim to be. But I don’t leave. When things get hard, I stay and I figure it out. I show up, even when it’s inconvenient. If you’re someone who has been through things too, that’s okay. I’m not looking for someone without a story — I’m looking for someone who’s willing to build something real despite one.
There’s a quote that has stayed with me for a long time — “If I were to find someone who loved like me, I would go to war for them.” That’s not a line. That’s just how I feel about it.
What I’m looking for: Someone kind, grounded and optimistic. Two things I won’t negotiate on — pure vegetarianism and mutual respect. Everything else, we can talk about. Open to all communities. Would prefer someone from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra or Madhya Pradesh — just practically makes things easier. Most importantly, someone who’s genuinely comfortable with family being part of the equation.

Do you feel distant from your friends too?
You're everyone's friend,
But is anyone your friend?
Read this question somewhere and there's the thought lingering in my head. I always put people above everything, but will every anybody put me in their priority?
I feel a lot distant from my friends these days, everyone seems to have got new friends and busy with them. Whereas, here I am.
