Are these actually fossils and why are there holes everywhere on the back sides?

These were found in a creek in Ohio.

What are some alternatives to the Aimpoint PRO? And what’s the best mounting solution for keeping it as low as possible to the carry handle?

Chicken of the woods? USA - OH

Found this growing out of a small stump. Looks a little different than I expected. maybe it’s still young? Sort of smells like oysters I’ve had in the past.

Anyone else have issue after issue with their newer Honda? At the point where I may never buy another Honda product.

I have a 22 Honda Pilot SE at 55,000m that I bought brand new with 0 miles. It seems like I’m always having issues with it every year since I bought it. My current issue is the alarm and lights randomly going off through the night. Already checked the hood latch switch, replaced fob batteries and checked my vehicles battery. Looks like I’m now going to have to give the dealership another $2000 to repair this piece of shit just like I did with my front facing camera going out. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.

Ground is higher than my sidewalk so rain water runs towards my foundation instead of away and gets into my basement.

I’m trying to figure out the best way to remedy water getting into my basement. It seems to only happen with a really steady rain and I think it’s because my yard is diverting water towards my foundation instead of away. suggestions?

7yr old dips bat when swinging? Any advice on hitting stance?

Any tips to get my 7yr old hitting the ball more consistently? It seems like he dips the bat when he swings and I don’t know how to break him out of that habit.

Thousands of coins to go through how to approach it?

My grandfather has given me thousands of coins that he’s put in a piggy bank the last 25 years. Knowing nothing about coin collecting should I separate them by denomination and then slowly go through them? I would like to keep anything unique/uncommon/cool etc. Essentially what I’m asking is how do I get into the hobby of collecting coins and what should I learn first? Thanks everyone.

EDIT: Is there anything I should add into the wrap while it’s holding?

My son got a new glove for 8U this year but it’s still pretty stiff. It’s a cheap Rawlings glove. what are my options? Should we even worry about it?
