At least Yesterwynde will never be destroyed by amateur phone videos. Seriously i'm happy.
reddit.comTuomas' friend is having a little party next month.
Tuomas' lyrics sometimes remind me of Bernie Taupin lyrics. Meadows Of Heaven for example. Perfume Of The Timeless is different ballgame though.
reddit.comGood thing people can finally move on and forget any kinda reunion shows. Finally 👍
loudersound.comPeople have two letters. Tarja wrote her own letter. Did people forget? People who think the letter that was written for her is fiction and Tarja and her manager husband were just innocent are blind.
That's definitely the original Nightwish backing track. Or then they made their own which sounds exactly like the og. Even the Troy's pipe solo. So they got permission from Tuomas (composer) and Nuclear Blast. If not i think there's a problem.
youtu.beTarja Turunen's regret: "I should have put them [Nightwish] through hell"
Article published by Whiplash, the largest rock and metal news portal in Brazil. The translation follows below:
Tarja Turunen stated that she regrets not pursuing her legal rights against Nightwish after her dismissal in 2005 and that she "should have made the band go through hell", in an interview with Dannii Leivers of Metal Hammer magazine.
She was the lead singer of Nightwish until she was fired via an open letter in 2005, a year after the album "Once" (2004).
"I should have put them through hell"
Two decades later, the singer reflects that she could have acted differently. "It's very sad how it all ended, but the thing I would have done differently is that I probably should have put them through hell", she stated.
"I had all my rights, there were contracts, and they would have been in deep shit for a long time if I had done what was right, but I didn't. I simply decided to move on and leave", she stated.
Autonomy that became music
The independence gained after that period became a recurring theme in her work. Tarja associates the single "I Don't Care", released in April 2026 featuring Dani Filth, with the decision to no longer let anyone interfere in her choices. "It's about me no longer letting anyone direct me. Since I started building my own career, they've tried to make me act differently, but I've always followed my own path", she concluded.
Tarja Turunen is promoting "Frisson Noir", an album released on June 12, 2026, and described by her as the heaviest album of her career.
