Get this guy in the game already
With the Kingdom Hearts collab coming soon I have a lot of hope that maybe we could get a Sephiroth skin… I’d throw my money at him!

Found these 2 lying around. Just wondering if you guys know if they’re any good or what their best use cases are!
I’ve been taught and told to play it starting on a downstroke but I’m now being told that it actually starts on an upstroke? I believe I see Eric from NirvanaGuitars playing it this way and I think I may recall seeing Kurt doing it that way live so I’m considering relearning the strumming
I’ve seen a lot of hate and I get a lot of crap and insults for liking these. At first I didn’t like these guitars but I quickly grew to love them, especially Mustangs. These rank highest among my favorites I just think they’re very cool and comfortable. It might be because of my small hands or the fact that my first and main guitar is a 2002 Squier Strat, but I like their slim necks. I also really love the shape of the Mustang. I like body’s and shapes of Jagstangs and Jaguars too but not as much. I wish the modern player 2 mustangs had phase switches because then I’d probably buy one. I wonder why so many people love to hate on these guitars.
Also before anyone says it, Kurt Cobain did not hate the Jagstang, that’s a common myth
It’s so emotional it’s crazy!
This guitar has a bit of a history. My dad first bought it to start on then he gave it up and gave it to my grandpa who then passed and now it’s in my hands.
She’s a 2002 Squier Strat who is still in the middle of being modded! Right now she has stock everything except a new pickguard and a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB in the bridge which has quickly become my favorite pickup. She certainly has issues… she cuts out from time to time when playing which I blame on either the cable, the volume pot or the output jack. That’s partly why the next plan of mods for this guitar are new Tex Mex middle and neck singles, new 500k pots, a new 5 way and a new output jack. Essentially get rid of all the electronics. Her tuning stability is really good! The volume pot kind of acts as an overall tone pot now which is just a classic case of something being messed up in the modding process or maybe I cooked it when soldering to it. Either way I love this guitar!
Note: Not Kurt’s actual ET270. I got to see an Epiphone ET270 and an In Utero Strat! I got to see the Soundgarden bass at the Unplugged Museum in Aberdeen. Because they hadn’t finished setting up the display they asked me if I’d like to hold it! Unfortunately I don’t know a lot about Soundgarden but it’s still pretty cool that I got to hold a bass like that!
I was wondering if paying the big bucks for Nerdvana’s Yung Man Fuzz would be worthwhile
Anybody love how articulate this humbucker is? It feels almost like emotionally articulate in a way. It can be aggressive but it can also sound surprisingly soft and sad. I just love how this humbucker sounds which is why I keep it in the bridge of most of my guitars!
My issue is that my twin reverb doesn’t really “wake up” until volume 3-5 but that is loud as hell. I’ve been solving this issue by having an Earnie Ball Vp. Jr at the end of my chain almost all the way down. The issue is that now it sounds really muddy. I know attenuators exist but they’re really pricey.
Shockingly I really like the way this Gibson CL Standard Plus sounds. It feels pretty close to Kurt’s for not being mic’d up and being recorded on a phone lol. I messed up a few times but yknow I’m a beginner. Also see anything neat in the background?
For not using face paint I think I did pretty good!
I’ve been playing for about 7 or 8 months and I can say I am truly lucky to have been handed down all of this equipment from my grandfather. He started back in the late 50’s early 60’s and played up until his passing at age 68 back in 2021. He passed August 5th, this very day. I bought a couple of the things here, like the ds1, tuner, big muff, and small clone. And the Mustang. I also modded that Strat to have a JB in the bridge. The rest of it was all my grandpas though! The 1997 Les Paul, the Gibson CL Standard plus, the P-Bass, all the amps and the 2 handmade tobacco box guitars made by my grandpas cousins were his. Also everything else I didn’t mention was inherited.
I see a lot of people saying it’s Kurt’s Jaguar but to me it’s always been the Smells Like Teen Spirit Competition Mustang and especially Skystang 1.
Just curious

The first 2 pictures are the product description and the rest of the pictures are the ones that were on the listing.
I purchased this Skystang 1 Squier build, in fact I overpaid, I paid a whole 750 + 100 bucks shipping for it. I would be okay with this because I expected to receive a good guitar.
Everything is functional, but there is not a clear coat on the paint that was painted on it. The seller never once mentioned that there wouldn’t be a clear coat. The instrument also arrived dirtier than expected but that’s normal of used guitars so that doesn’t bother me. The seller mentioned in one of our chats that the paint had a “chameleon-like effect” because it changes a bit when in the dark to a more grey green than sonic blue. What’s odd is he didn’t mention that until after I paid for the guitar. But that doesn’t even bother me, it’s purely the lack of a clear coat.
The raw paint not only makes it feel cheap but I know it’s prone to damaging much easier and chipping.
The seller was extremely kind and I don’t want to come off as a prick but I feel like this is a fair thing to complain about, especially on an instrument I already over paid for.
This order just arrived today.
I know the blame probably falls on me because I was too dumb to ask before buying.
I just want confirmation, am I valid in complaining about it or am I acting unreasonable? And more importantly, what should I do?
As someone who loves Nirvana tones and pedals and also likes not exploding my bank account I was wondering if this pedal would be a good replacement!
Amp is a reissue Fender Twin with tubes. My guitar is a modded 2002 squier Strat with a JB in the bridge and stock singles. I want to know how you guys feel about Serve The Servants because I don’t own a Sansamp sadly.
