Sulong Nekomamushi vs Kyros with two legs

Can somebody explain to me the Elation damage Crit conversion thing?

Visited this sub recently and came across a message about how Evanescia doesn't want Sunday because of how converted Crit Damage buffs cannot be re-converted.
The question I have about this, is that Evanescia doesn't have anything in her kit that suggests she has crit damage conversion in her kit.
Additionally, from what I can tell while reading the damage formulas for elation damage, Elation damage doesn't seem to convert CD when calculating final damage at all. It simply handles critical hits normally, like any other kind of damage that can Critically Hit.

Can somebody explain to me this disparity?

Remember when that one character, Anaxa, was being hailed as the most GOATed DPS of all time?

Yeah this is him now.

remember that one time when Mili made a song for Cyrene and it randomly told the story of amphoreus better than the entire actual main story ever could?

Could Shinso theoretically have negged awakened Shigaraki?

Technically Shinso never tried to use it on Awakened Shigaraki, and as far as I knew Shiggy isn't explicitly shown to know what exactly his quirk is.
Shigaraki's powers doesn't include one that stops him from being affected by quirks as far as I can tell.
I don't think Shigaraki was shown to have the skills needed to break out, either.

RPGs with good combat and bosses?

played [Something Boss Fights] recently and was flabbergasted at how good it was. only problem is that it’s effectively got zero progression outside of ‘get good at fights’

are there any games that have combat on at least approximately the same level as that game while having actual, decent progression?

ideally something without too much grinding.

A very simple and slightly boring item. Not very strong but can be situationally useful.

scaling by *manga feats only*, who wins?

Gin Ichimaru vs Awakened Bakugo.
Ignore all the nonsense statements that place most bleach characters on planetary level+, most of the feats depicted in the manga are below city level.

We love to meme about it, but what if the west really has fallen behind the rest of the world, including Asia and the Middle East, technologically and economically by the 2010s?

Hot take: Vertin's Suitcase is the greatest writing mistake in this game.

Before you all jump me in the comments, I need to point out a few facts;

  1. Vertin canonically carries a suitcase filled with all kinds of incredibly skilled people who are more than willing to help her overcome challenges, such as Lucy, Yenisei and Anjo Nala.
  2. Vertin often runs into incredibly urgent or dangerous situations that justify her asking these people for help.
  3. Vertin... never does this.

Look at chapter 9 for example. Vertin could have asked somebody from her suitcase who can help her figure out what the heck is going on in the prison, or chapter 10, when she was trying to find some way to get out of the maze. Vertin never asked anybody in the suitcase for help, for no good reason.

Why? Isn't the entire purpose of her carrying a suitcase to have a collection of useful people on her side? Why is she never making proper use of it?

The reason for this becomes obvious once we start looking at this from the perspective of the writer: By giving Vertin the ability to call anybody from her magic suitcase to solve any problem, it becomes impossible for her to experience actual growth and development from overcoming those trials herself. It also makes any problem that Vertin might face in the story non-problems. In short, it stops the story from being anything more than a poorly written power fantasy of sorts.

It also becomes clear that the addition of the suitcase into the story was not throughly thought out at all, but likely something crudely added to justify Vertin's connection to the massive cast.

What if Europe was Isolationist and Non-interventionist rather than Colonialist and Imperialist?

Basically, what if Europeans never tried to colonise or conquer people far away from them, and only waged wars amongst themselves, while also not really caring about helping others far away improve themselves technologically?

Would the rest of the world still be in the ancient era technologically? Would history have been much less awful to live through? How would the world be, if Europe never cared to spread its people or knowledge around the world?

What are the clearest, most consistent in-game signs that a gacha game is struggling financially and likely to end its service soon?

We here all know that revenue is important, but it often seems like people places massive importance on whether a gacha will end their service, but rarely that gachas often runs into certain other issues considerably before they EOS as a result of their low revenues, that often also makes those games almost pointless to play.

Here are some which I have found:

Black Beacon: released terribly with many bugs, then got its updates continuously delayed, then placed under maintenance, then EOS'd.

Eversoul: Stopped getting story updates by mid 2025 and had repetitive event reruns, EOS announced during may 2026.

World Flipper: story updates slowed, events become mostly reruns and fewer inventive/creative features were getting added during early to mid 2023, then by late 2023 pretty much only small tweaks are getting added during updates. By the end of 2023 the game announced EoS.

Alchemy stars: during mid to late 2023, events became less experimental, and noticeably fewer new game modes are being added. By early to mid 2024, while main story updates did not halt or massively slow down to nearly the same degree as most other gachas, it still reduced in frequency, and no longer expanded the world as much as it did before. By the end of 2024 it announced EOS.

What signs of the game struggling have you seen in EoS'd games you've played?

What does his interest stacks even do now?

Like seriously, changing them from AA to a speed increase is bad enough, but... they reset literally every turn? How is he supposed to benefit from them when they reset this frequently? Is there even a single comp that makes those stacks useful outside of FUA? Even Saber comp can't make meaningful use of them now.

If they just changed those to increase his ult damage like therta stacks does to her enhanced skill damage it wouldn't be a problem, but right now they're literally useless?
