Can someone explain why LSG management seem to hate KL Rahul so much?
Let's compare what happened.
Rishabh Pant (2025–2026)
Bought for a record ₹27 crore.
LSG failed to qualify for playoffs in 2025.
Pant had a poor batting season by his standards.
Captaincy decisions were questioned multiple times.
2026 wasn't much better, with LSG again struggling for consistency and results.
For the money invested, the returns have been underwhelming so far.
KL Rahul's LSG tenure (2022–2024)
Captained LSG from their debut season.
Took the team to playoffs in 2022.
Took the team to playoffs again in 2023 despite injuries in the squad and missing part of the season himself.
Scored 600+ runs in both 2022 and 2023.
Finished among the leading run-scorers for the franchise.
Maintained one of the most stable top-order records in the league.
Left as LSG's highest run-scorer.
I'm not saying KL was perfect. People criticized his strike rate, intent, and approach in some matches.
But if Rahul delivered playoffs twice and was consistently among the runs, while Pant's tenure so far has produced worse team results and weaker individual performances, why is the criticism towards KL Rahul still much harsher?
Why does LSG seem to dislike KL Rahul this much?
best way to find package
I'm currently interning at a fully remote Bangalore-based company (~100–110 employees). The work is quite intense, usually around 9 AM to 7 PM, and the team works on fairly modern technologies. The stipend is ₹5k/month, which is low, but it was the best opportunity I could get at the time.
Recently, my manager verbally confirmed that I'll be getting a full-time offer after the internship. However, they haven't discussed compensation yet. They said the official offer letter with salary details will be shared in about a month.
I've checked AmbitionBox and Glassdoor, and the reported salaries for similar roles at the company seem to be around 3–4 LPA, but I'm not sure how reliable those numbers are.
Is there a professional and respectful way to find out the expected salary before the offer letter arrives? Has anyone been in a similar situation?
For context, I also have another offer from a service-based company at 4 LPA, but their joining date could be delayed by up to a year in the worst case.
Would appreciate any advice.
