Obviously if I’m trying to win I got better stuff to punch BUT if the situation allows, standing toe to toe with another and just trading haymakers is so fun.

I can play starlord to a passing degree. But if the enhanced mantis team-up is worth for her, I’d def pour more time into Starlord.

Frankly I hear the Mantis with Starlord team up is strong but I never actually see it in the wild?

Edit: ok so I know why I don’t see it. People aren’t playing Star lord, scrolled for a bit and the Starlord main sub popped up (lol) apparently his pick rate is low but I’m low elo so i should be ok, I know how he works!

Anime only for starters so I haven’t the peaks of the magic world yet.

I dislike that Magic is scared. I do think it should be more readily available. I think we should be able to use Magic to more actively heal people.

Sure we can “disrupt the natural order” of pain and injury and all that but it’s a world of magic, I want to use it for righteous reasons. (But also like to fly an stuff)

Sure there will be bad apples and worse apples but thats simply life. I will defend against magic with magic.

Granted it’s a world of magic and people on TikTok figured out how to create magic nukes. While I am seeing in real time how bad of an idea this, I can’t help but want Magic to be public knowledge because of the counter good that can happen.

By the brushbuddy, the more I type the more I realize how bad of an idea this is but I still think the pointed caps are too uptight.

Yeah so the whole the team struggling but I myself was doing terrible. Ended I think 3-10, the whole time I was like “I just need some upgrades”. The enemy team was pretty weak to dive so I thought “let me try out DPS pool”

My engagements, terrible. I had a Cap I tried to dive with but we could not sync our timing. Resulted in us staggering deaths.

Skill rotation wasn’t too bad, I could jackpot easily not that that’s too impressive but I could get no value for it.

I sometimes forgot to pop Deadpool in your area before engaging. And sometimes I failed my jumps off of enemy heads. Remembering to weave in melees while’s dashing and also landing jumps was hard.

Yeah so, this was my absolute first experience on DPSpool. Frankly I feel motivated to improve and someday hit the clips that I see here so often.

DPS pool is a bit hard to control. He feels like an actual sports car. He moves fast but without proper control, you’ll just crash.

This isn’t to dunk on Santi, I love him but recently the jokes where sex is the pun have not been it. Of all the theory channels food has always been my favorite. Santi was a fantastic *co-host* and was doing great helming the ship, then at some point things changed. In a video some time ago, the first line, first joke was a distasteful sex pun, I turned off the video and haven’t been back.

I actually really enjoy crude humor when they land right but they have felt forced lately and frankly distasteful. The shift in food theory content was noticeable but for a time they were still fun theories and now they’ve turned into what feels like straight corporate advertisements.

I truly believe if Santi had a co-host himself, he could bounce positive energy off them. Instead we are trying to land crude jokes that feel kind of out of place with the subject.

TL:DR I want to like food theory but the sex jokes are a bit much for me and the theories feel slightly inauthentic.

I’d love to know how much this subreddit has grown in the last couple days since the trailer. I immediately ran here and joined. I love fighting games but young me was into the more fantastical stuff (Soul calibur, Street fighter, mortal kombat). I was always aware of VF but found it niche even as a fighting game despite it being a well-known name.

Lord have mercy, Ciello is an absolute cutie patootie. He fits the MMA guy persona and look almost perfectly and it’s only been a trailer.

The story looks incredibly engaging as well. I imagine there’s others in my age group of 27 that could never really get into Virtua fighter but would always see akira and go “He looks cool”.

I’m not a legacy fan at all, I only know Akira, so I do think introducing a new cast could definitely help a new generation connect with Virtua Fighter in an extremely fresh way.

BUT I do hope all of the vets get their fan favorites in the game!

I’m playing tank, The Thing In a solo pun-phoenix-star lord set up. Enemy had a spidey-venom-Dino-mag set up

Thing felt like a natural choice. Would like a second tank but whatever. Mechanically everyone was great, but they just pumped bullets into the Dino.

Phoenix couldn’t stun the spidey, punisher’s gun seemed to have jammed, Star lord shot his (now 50) pain peas at the Dino.

Ok. I type, “gotta cut off the healing”

“Guys, the Luna, Star lord follow me”

I decide to try to make a play and go for the Luna. She missed the snowball, hell yeah.

My haymakers get healed off, she lows but I can’t overcommit, retreat.

This cycle continues for the entirety of the match, no one really died on both sides so we just stall out and lose.

Yea I coulda played DPS but I wanna have more faith in teammates to play the team based game in a team based manner.

Coming from watching YouTuber/Streamer *Flats* spectate the rank #1 cap and I was massively inspired.

With the arrival of the dinosaur (and honestly no rogue changes), Rogue has been *difficult* to say the least this season. I’m also an iron fist and thing player… I really enjoy punching things.

Well I’d avoided Cap for essentially the games life span (my bad) and I needed a new tank to compliment or combat the Dino. I found Cap America cannot only survive pretty well against the dinosaur but also deal good damage with his sprint animation canceling during the chaos.

Not to mention the usual playstyle of bugging supports and if I can catch a support lacking, Cap can hurt them which was really nice to like pilot. The permanent speed boost from his sprint feels underrated, I feel like I can be *everywhere* a tank might be needed and that feels great.

I’d appreciate any tips or tricks! i think I understand what Cap wants to do but I’d love to hear from some of the more faithful Cap players

Been having stellar games most finals and what not but no MVP.

Is this an isolated me issue or nah?

This is my quiet revolt against solo-tanking. If I’m MVP on solo tank, I’m not taking that as I’m doing great, I’m taking it as my dps fucking blows.

It’s the age old story of, my three dps are playing dive not ideal but idk the enemy team comp. iron fist can help me peel if anything…right?

Nope him and Magik are gonna run it down main, past me (Rouge cuz I’m a masochist) DD was flanking a bit slow so he arrived late and simply died.

Where was I? Dealing with the spidey and venom combo. Thankfully the spider sucked and I could blow him up but Venom did what Venom does. The rest of the enemy comp didn’t matter, the back line was fully occupied so we could never move.

So I swapped to punisher, shotgun does wonders for peeling. It worked venom backed off but couldn’t help the other three dps who had better things to do in the afterlife I suppose.

I’ll run 0-4-2 every QP game if that’s what we gotta do.

Role queue really might not be that terrible.
