how to write usage rights contracts so local brands pay monthly recurring licensing
if you sell raw UGC video files to a local business without explicit usage licensing terms, they will run your ad hook on Facebook for two years while you make a single $200 fee.
always split your invoice into two lines: base creation fee for 90 days local ad usage, and a recurring 40% monthly licensing fee to extend the rights. if they run heavy ad spend on your video hook, they will gladly pay the monthly licensing fee because creating a new converting ad costs them way more time and money.
Me and the API key i hardcoded just for testing.

Hey! I'm looking to join a community as a moderator, and I'm open to pretty much anything — SFW or NSFW, Reddit or Discord.
I don't have prior experience specifically as a Discord moderator, but I do have some relevant experience. At my previous work, I helped moderate my workmates work live, which involved keeping an eye on their chats and tasks, dealing with inappropriate or disruptive behavior, and helping keep things organized.
I'm also a quick learner and I'm more than willing to learn whatever moderation bots, tools, rules, and systems your community uses. I'm comfortable taking feedback and adapting to the way an existing mod team works.
I can help with:
- Enforcing community rules
- Dealing with spam, trolls, bots, and disruptive users
- Handling reports, questions, and modmail
- Keeping channels/threads organized
- Working with an existing moderation team
- Learning and using moderation bots/tools
- 📈Helping keep the community welcoming and active
I'm active, responsible, patient, and quick to learn. I'm open to both small/new communities and larger established ones.
If you're looking for an extra moderator, feel free to comment or DM me with some information about your community and what you're looking for.
Thanks for reading! :)

luxury apartment dumpster ozone treatment is printing money
high-end apartment complexes lose prospective tenants during tours when the commercial trash compactors smell like rotting seafood in mid-summer heat. property managers are desperate because bad smells mean 1-star Google reviews from tenants paying $3k/mo for a one bedroom.
i bought two commercial-grade 40,000mg/h ozone generators off ebay for $120 each. i set up a service contract with four luxury complexes. i drive by twice a week after evening pickup, run the generators inside the sealed trash rooms for 45 minutes, and blow out the stink completely. charging $400 per month per building. takes 10 minutes of hands-on setup time.

Apple Shelf 🍎
Haloooo! I’m new to making paper mache and my first craft is a shelf 😊
I am currently using flour+water+salt as a glue and then scrap box as a base, when it first hardened it was very durable but as time goes by the shelf is getting softer and very cold to the touch.
Tips please 🙏🏻 🥹

Is breaking into buy-side still possible without IB?
Hello everyone,
I’ve been looking into buy-side careers lately (PE, hedge funds, asset management), and I keep seeing the same path everywhere:
IB → PE
Buutt I’m starting to notice people getting in through different routes like:
Big 4 (TAS / deals)
Corporate finance / FP&A
Boutique firms
Smaller funds straight out of school
So what I reallt wanted to ask:
For those already in buy-side:
what path did you take?
did you come from IB or something else?
what helped you the most (networking, skills, brand name)?
For recruiters or anyone hiring:
does background still matter more than skills?
are non-traditional candidates getting more chances now?
For those trying to break in:
what’s been the hardest part?
anything that actually worked for you?
From what I’m seeing so far:
networking seems huge, especially for smaller funds
strong technical skills can help offset non-traditional backgrounds
smaller firms seem more flexible with hiring
Curious to hear real experiences. Feels like the standard path isn’t the only way anymore, but not sure how true that is.
Thank you to anyone who can answer hehe
