Over 2 weeks on the road, Crossing Europe on longboard
As I'm typing this, I'm having a break on a bench inside LidL in Sweden close to Gøteborg. I've skated from Oslo and been on the road for over 2 weeks now.
Had my first major scare two days ago as a sprained my ankle after I joined a group of legends playing football the same day I had skated 38 kilometers lol. Not the best idea, but I got carried away lol.
I got to sleep 2 days at the football clubs clubhouse tho, that was sweet. Got to shower.
But lucky it was just a mild muscle injury I received, and I was back at full power again the day after.
I almost cried when I could barely walk the morning after I received the injury, haha.
Sooo today I'm back on the road.
Today, I've slated 27km so far in terrible head wind. I've spent 3 hours on that, and It's been a nightmare. I have to skate 12 before I'm with checkpoint for the day.
It's very hard, but not un doable.
I'm not really sure why I'm writing this now, guess I'm a bit lonely today. But all good, because I can use reddit as kind of a diary lol. Its been very nice actually.
I'm tracking my progress to Strava live. Feel free to follow how it goes @Michael Mangekyou
Here is a video of some of the highlights from the trip. Feel free to Ama, I'll answer when I've made camp tonight, or tomorrow.
