I want to present an example of how I was able to maximize rewards . I used 55,600 miles to cover a recent travel purchase . Had I converted to cash , it was 230 dollars . For the above transaction I will get a credit of 556 dollars instead .
Probably would have been even more with transfer partners.
I am simply presenting this as an example for those who ask about the value of points / cash vs travel redemption .
Does this feature only go back three months in time ?

I have something posted on June 30 and I need to wait for more points to cover it in full . I wonder if that charge will still be available for cover purchase in the next few months .

DL canceled 313 on Sunday . Was able to rebook without issue and they covered meals , taxi and hotel seamlessly through the app .
Was some mechanical fault but that was not the only flight canceled that day , wonder whats going on .

I applied for GE in Sept 2022 and full approval in Dec 2022 . Today I saw it is valid till Sept 2028 .
Should it not be valid till Sept 2027 ? 2028 would make it over 5 years validity . Just wondering not complaining obviously
I am GE since October 2022 . Yesterday returned to Logan via CDG. Kept walking as if I was a car with EZ pass tag. No stopping for fotos or anything . I could see my foto on agents desktop and he waved me through ...you are all set ....never took out my passport from my bag even and no other conversation. That's it . Twas a breeze .Worth every dollar spent ( which is reimbursed by my travel cc )
I was transiting through Heathrow yesterday and this was the difference between general areas and the priority pass lounge. I had to twait for 10 minutes in a line and since I was within 3 hours of boarding I was allowed entry . Food options were limited but decent and coffee was good . Bathroom could have been cleaner and brighter but ok . Overall a good bargain to spend 2 and half hours peacefully at a busy airport.

I opened delta gold amex and 2 days later booked a long distance flight worth 1500 dollars .
I had forgotten to log in to Delta website as myself and during checkout there was an ad for delta gold card offering 50000 points and 600 dollar statement credit. But by then I had already opened my delta gold amex .
I then chatted with Amex agent on the Amex app and explained this to him and he said he will open a review .
Do you all think they will really consider this and give me 600 dollars statement credit ?
Are there any other cards giving a straight up travel credit like the Capital One Venture X ?
No frills , no minimum 10 k spend in 1 year and a reasonable annual fee ?
