My doctor prescribed this instead of Sumatriptan (which doesn’t work for me) and Excedrin (which made me anxious because I’m caffeine-intolerant). What do you think? I really need your help 🥺

Propanolol 40 mg

Zolmitriptan Instant 2.5 mg

Here’s the mashup of Xtina’s “Can’t Hold Us Down” with Brandy’s “Afrodisiac” that I found back in 2003. It’s impossible to find anywhere, and I wanted to share it with you so you could tell me what you think. The video was thrown together pretty quickly, but here it is.

Did you notice the change in her voice during the Confessions Tour performance of “Lucky Star”? At the beginning, she sings extremely high, which I assume is playback, and then she switches to her real voice. You can really hear the difference between her voice back then and her current voice !

Indiana Jones from Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom should have come to us. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.

Which version of “Boys” do you prefer? The one with or without Pharrell? Personally, I prefer the bridge without Pharrell 😅

Do you also get a horrible taste with bupropion, like a metallic or iron taste in your mouth? When I increase the dose to 300 mg, it becomes absolutely unbearable. Do you experience the same thing, or is it just me?

Ryan Murphy and his shows that only get one season and never get a continuation 👹

Why does Ryan Murphy never seem to finish his shows, like Grotesquerie, The Beauty, and Ratched? It’s so frustrating to get to the end of a first season only to be left with a huge cliffhanger. It feels like we watched the whole series for nothing.

Katy drunk on my shoulder at a gay bar. 😅 (March 7, 2009)

That was me and Katy in 2009, when she came to Brussels, Belgium. Afterwards, she went to Boys Boudoir, a gay bar. I was very young, so don’t judge me based on the photo. 😂 I have a picture of her with her arm around my shoulder, and I actually got to talk to her. I asked her how her concert had gone, and she said she was tired and drunk af but having a great time, and that the Belgian gays were very welcoming. It was a really tiny bar.

It was 2009, so she was still at a point in her career where she could afford to go to little bars like that. She was really sweet. I even danced with her on this little dance floor—not really a podium—with my friends. It was so funny.

Here’s the photo. It brings back so many memories. ❤️

I'm in love with my E30 ultra 😍

I wanted to replace my Mova E30 Ultra, but I’m so in love with it. It has two huge water tanks, and honestly, I don’t really see the point in upgrading to a higher-end model because I’ve seen that some of the newer ones aren’t necessarily any more efficient. So I’ll wait until it completely gives up on me. And it’s incredibly effective. Proof in the photo. 😍🧹✨

Why do I hate myself more now that I'm sober? (ADD, addiction, borderline personality disorder)

Hi everyone,

I'm posting here because I feel a bit lost, and I'm hoping to hear from people who may have gone through something similar.

In 2022, after several inpatient rehab programs for severe addictions (mainly cocaine and alcohol), I was diagnosed with ADD and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). For years, I was prescribed multiple medications (antipsychotics, neuroleptics, etc.), which caused me to gain almost 60 kg (132 lbs).

Today, thanks to a treatment plan that is much better suited to me, greater emotional stability, and Wegovy (I'm on 1.7 mg because 2.4 mg gives me severe migraines), I've managed to lose around 45 kg (99 lbs). I'm not yet at my goal weight, but it's already a huge achievement.

I also have obstructive sleep apnea.

My current treatment is:

  • Ritalin LA (extended-release methylphenidate) 30 mg every morning for ADD.
  • Wellbutrin (bupropion) 150 mg every morning.
  • Prazepam 20 mg as needed for anxiety.
  • Trazodone 100 mg before bed.
  • Prozac (fluoxetine) 60 mg was also prescribed, but I stopped taking it on my own because I felt I didn't need it anymore.
  • Wegovy 1.7 mg once a week.

My journey has been extremely difficult. I went through my first rehab program in 2018, but unfortunately it wasn't successful. In 2022, I completed a second two-month inpatient rehab program, which became a real turning point in my recovery.

About nine months ago, I went through the darkest period of my life. I relapsed on cocaine, made two suicide attempts, and was involuntarily hospitalized for a week under a court order.

During that same period, I had also become addicted to Lyrica (pregabalin), which had originally been prescribed to me. During that crisis, I took an extremely large overdose and nearly died.

Looking back, as painful as it was, that relapse became part of my recovery. Today I've been sober again for nine months, and for the first time in many years, I can honestly say that I no longer have any desire to use cocaine.

Since starting Ritalin LA, I feel much more functional. I'm more active, I move around a lot more, and I'm continuing to lose weight. However, my anxiety has increased dramatically. I constantly replay my past in my head: struggling at school, being rejected, being bullied, and never understanding why I couldn't function like everyone else before my ADD was diagnosed.

I carry an enormous amount of regret about my addictions. They led me into extremely dark places, and I went through experiences that were deeply traumatic.

What hurts me the most today is my nose. Everyone around me—my doctors, family, and friends—tells me it looks completely normal, but I'm convinced it changed because of my heavy cocaine use. I feel like it has become smaller, I don't breathe as well as I used to, and I still have pain inside my nose.

I saw an ENT specialist who thoroughly examined my sinuses and told me everything looked normal, with no signs of damage related to cocaine. I'm scheduled for a septoplasty on September 3rd, but it's unrelated to my past drug use. It's simply to correct a deviated nasal septum.

Despite that, when I compare recent pictures with photos from before my addiction, I genuinely feel like my nose has become smaller. I know this perception may be influenced by guilt, but I just can't let it go. Every time I look in the mirror, my nose instantly reminds me of my years of addiction. It's become an obsession, and it causes me an incredible amount of emotional pain.

I've talked about this with my psychiatrist who treats my ADD, another psychiatrist, my psychologist, and my primary care doctor. Every single one of them tells me that I was ill, that addiction is common in people whose ADD goes untreated, and that I shouldn't judge myself so harshly.

But I simply can't forgive myself. The regret never goes away.

On top of that, Ritalin LA has increased my anxiety so much that I often need 20 mg of prazepam just to calm myself down.

I'm wondering whether anyone else has experienced something similar. Has treatment for ADD brought back painful memories, trauma, or overwhelming guilt? Has anyone found that they needed to restart an antidepressant after beginning stimulant treatment because of the anxiety?

I'm not asking for medical advice—I will discuss all of this with my psychiatrists. I'm simply hoping to hear from people who have been through something similar and learn how they managed to move forward.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
