Normally I watch $100,000 Pyramid or Match Game… hell I’d even take some Lingo. I feel like there’s nothing to watch right now. 🥲

I was wondering why the lines at Lakefront Brewery were so insane and then I realized it’s one of the only places to get a decent beer. I realize Waterstreet Brewery closed, but they couldn’t do something else with that nice space?? Just basic Miller Lite or Coors in there? How lame. Why not make it a microbrew space?? Allow various local breweries to showcase their beers there.

That nasty Choco-cherry shit is so sweet. They had a chance with Vizzy, but continue to choose the absolute worst flavor combo year after year after year. I’m currently drinking an old fashioned and just rambling/venting, but the drink situation needs a serious overhaul. I volunteer as tribute to lead the charge if Summerfest is hiring.

I love the concept of School of Rock and think it’s great that these kids are involved. However, why do they consume so many stages for so long? Why not just have them on one or two stages? Then you have a lot of great bands that start around 4 or 5 all crammed into one time slot (I’m referring to this Thursday 6/25 which is probably going to attract a lot of people due to it being Throwback Thursday)

Edit: I’m not saying they’re bad, everyone!! I’m saying put them on maybe two stages and have more professional musicians on the other stages earlier in the day. So on Thursday for instance, you have Pat McCurdy, 10,000 Maniacs, Lisa Loeb, Old 97s all in overlapping time slots which sucks because then you can’t sit and listen to them all. And why is that? Because of School of Rock.

It’s a beautiful 70° sunny summer day and I’m sitting on my couch with the windows open. All I hear is the whiny little girl from the house behind me, probably fighting with her brother. “I waaaaant iiiitttt” over and over. She has the most grating voice.

It’s awful tonight. Anyone else?

Was it a little overproduced and scripted? Yeah but that’s kinda Kevin Hart. Pretty sweet The Roots were there.

The joke that wins for me was the line about how Nikki Glaser couldn’t be there because it was Chelsea Handler’s turn for The Substance. 💀

Sheryl was hilarious. That Kill Tony guy is a douche, but I have to admit his set was funny. Were there some not great moments? Yeah, but that’s every roast. The Venus & Serena thing was weird. Teyana wasn’t great. Regina Hall was meh… also why was she added last minute like that? Kinda weird when the whole thing felt rehearsed. Loved The Rock at the end. I actually give Katt Williams credit for even showing up because he and Kevin Hart have hated each other for years.

Sorry Shane, but you were mid at best at hosting. I think Shane’s normal brand of comedy didn’t translate to this type of show. It felt like when Ricky Gervais bombed as a host for the Golden Globes. Decent comedian, but it’s just not working as a host.

All in all, I thought it was decent.

I thought they were kidding at first, but then they didn’t have any moms on stage like they have in the past. (Except Marcello’s mom in the beginning)

Props to apple for giving us a way to mute text messages. Now is there a way for us to mute a certain person’s phone calls so that they go straight to voicemail? I know DND is an option, but that’s a lot of work and what if you want to allow everyone else’s calls except one person? No, blocking isn’t an option.

I think Danny’s poor performance as a functioning father and husband distracted us from what was also an important part of yesterday’s episode… who wound up getting the main bedroom??

It was Jesse vs I-Have-Stamina-Lala and then the storyline just kinda faded away. So who won?!

My kitchen appliances and washer/dryer were all purchased together back in 2015 (before I moved in). I’ve had various issues with all of them except the stove so far. It’s expensive to have technicians come out and replace parts. I’m at the point now where I’m wondering if I should just replace everything. Fridge, stove, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. My dishwasher is the latest one to give me troubles. All right now are LG brand. Just wondering what people think is the best brand, or if there is even a “best” brand at all…
