How would the Star Wars Galaxy reaction if a part of the lancer setting was suddenly teleported into the SW galaxy? For location we’ll say wild space.
For those who don’t know what is Lancer in short, Lancer is a TTRPG for mechs, from small mechs and big mechs. Most of the Lancer setting is mostly peaceful under the Union, but there are some elements of it which are dangerously, and similar to pre clone wars Star Wars it is corporations called the “Big Four.”
They are IPS-Northstar, Smith-Shimano Corpro, HORUS, and Harrison Armory.
IPS-Northstar are a shipping and transportation company . They do not like pirates, and many of their mechs are built for ship building .
Smith-Shimano Corpro makes the fancy expensive experimental mechs, they practice eugenics, and they have lots of soft power.
Harrison Armory has mechs built for war, they are very pro-human/ racist to aliens, and they make most of the guns in the setting.
HORUS is weird not a company but multiple cells of terrorists, rebels, machine cults, and other randoms. Their mech are lovecraftian and focus on hacking. Also they are linked to the machine god Ra. No I’m not joking.
For this thought experiment we’ll say some sectors of lancer galaxy are teleported into the Star Wars galaxy with most of the players there. Around 10 years per Clone Wars. How would B1s, clones, and Jedi with mechs that can teleport mid battle, or break the laws of space time, or getting their tanks cut in half, or a literal god. And how would Lancers deal with space wizards, hundreds of alien species, and the shock of the their new reality? Fun mental image.
