How do I understand the game?
I mean that I want to understand everything, like why is a cool good or bad, and why is this positioning good or bad, and what is my job in every game and stuff like that. Any videos about that?

I’ve ever even used it beyond qp before. Does anyone see it being good, at least situationally now?
Ignore my groot falling, he was a sacrifice for agamotto
I used be a strange OTP but since there a rank reset I decided to learn a new tank this season. I’m centurion Emma now but most of it was quick play until this season where I started to play ranked with her. I always felt like I’m horrible with her but somehow I’m winning more with her than my better characters.
I’d appreciate any advice or matchups explanations, like what should I do if I’m playing into thing and mag for example? Should I always just put crystal on the thing and grap him? Or should I look to punish the mag more since he has no movement? Also if I’m playing against more than one diver, let’s say a venom and a dd. How should I play a matchup like this? Should I look for grabbing dd only?
Also what are the bad matchups for Emma. I always felt like she’s solid into all tanks and most dps, but I didn’t play her enough to be sure honestly.
Lastly, I usually stop at gm3 but this season I feel like Emma is actually powerful - last season playing strange felt bad and this season he feels even worse for me - and I’m thinking about pushing more with her mainly. Any advice for this elo specifically or the more common matchups?

This game is one of my firsts on venom I’m comp and I don’t have many hours on him in general, and this game was a loss but I feel like I was doing my job and my team wasn’t following up. Maybe I’m wrong tho and I’m open to hear about that. I’m a strange main but I got bored of playing shield tank, and since this is end of season and apparently every single person has got to gm and games are easier so I said why not learn a new tank.

I was doing pretty bad first round, but my whole team was getting rolled, and also I was tired since I really grinded the game for long that time. I feel like I was doing good tho on the second round when I swapped to mag, but for whatever reason my star lord had opinions about my performance. Maybe he was right, even though I don’t think so, and also what I believe was the reason we lost was that they had a better support ults in general and we needed to give up many fights to gambit ult, and then still our support ultimates weren’t enough to win fights.
Matchmaking is horrible, I know and everyone knows, but why tf am I held hostage in a game like this where my team for whatever reason doesn’t want to surrender, and the enemy team is just infinitely better. There was actual 0 chance we win this game, and one of my teammates rage quit in the second half.
Note : my original post got deleted because I forgot to hide the names, but I need to rant about this because I’m genuinely tired of it

Two humble clips of my way to gm
Why does this happen? Like I was even not trying my best on my alt on many games, but somehow im getting better lobbies at least less horrible than my main. I also started at diamond 2 both of them. Why does this happen?
The GM 2 is arellia if you didn’t notice and the enemy had the diamond 2 who was Smurf.
I peaked at gm1 in season 7.5 playing almost only strange and magneto. I stopped playing comp since then and I only returned today because I finished my studying and had time for grinding comp so I started my placements. I’m not putting any vod id but I remember all of my games, and I’d appreciate reviewing any game of the more recent where I lost or even won and could’ve done better.
I know it may be unrealistic to hit celestial this season, but maybe I can improve to do it next season, and I’m actually open to hear criticism to improve.
I played mostly Bucky, Strange and Emma, and this already feels far better because I was genuinely handless without strange last season, but now I have very good games on Emma and Bucky who have different play style and matchups. Last season I basically lost If wolverine or groot weren’t banned, and I was very limited.
Also I’d appreciate a video reviewing my game because it helped me improve before, as it helps me understand wider concepts since talking in a video is easier than writing, but I’d definitely appreciate both.
Lastly, id like to hear criticism about things broader than mechanics - I know mechanics are crucial but I’m kinda washed rn and I believe I’ll improve with time - like game sense and target priority and cooldown management, and everything like taht.
