[VOD REQUEST] [GM2] my star lord blames me for losing

I was doing pretty bad first round, but my whole team was getting rolled, and also I was tired since I really grinded the game for long that time. I feel like I was doing good tho on the second round when I swapped to mag, but for whatever reason my star lord had opinions about my performance. Maybe he was right, even though I don’t think so, and also what I believe was the reason we lost was that they had a better support ults in general and we needed to give up many fights to gambit ult, and then still our support ultimates weren’t enough to win fights.

How am I even supposed to enjoy this

Matchmaking is horrible, I know and everyone knows, but why tf am I held hostage in a game like this where my team for whatever reason doesn’t want to surrender, and the enemy team is just infinitely better. There was actual 0 chance we win this game, and one of my teammates rage quit in the second half.

Note : my original post got deleted because I forgot to hide the names, but I need to rant about this because I’m genuinely tired of it

My main account VS my alt account

Why does this happen? Like I was even not trying my best on my alt on many games, but somehow im getting better lobbies at least less horrible than my main. I also started at diamond 2 both of them. Why does this happen?

How is there a GM 1 with a diamond 2 in the same lobby?

The GM 2 is arellia if you didn’t notice and the enemy had the diamond 2 who was Smurf.

Want to hit celestial and open to hear all criticism [VOD REQUEST]

I peaked at gm1 in season 7.5 playing almost only strange and magneto. I stopped playing comp since then and I only returned today because I finished my studying and had time for grinding comp so I started my placements. I’m not putting any vod id but I remember all of my games, and I’d appreciate reviewing any game of the more recent where I lost or even won and could’ve done better.

I know it may be unrealistic to hit celestial this season, but maybe I can improve to do it next season, and I’m actually open to hear criticism to improve.

I played mostly Bucky, Strange and Emma, and this already feels far better because I was genuinely handless without strange last season, but now I have very good games on Emma and Bucky who have different play style and matchups. Last season I basically lost If wolverine or groot weren’t banned, and I was very limited.

Also I’d appreciate a video reviewing my game because it helped me improve before, as it helps me understand wider concepts since talking in a video is easier than writing, but I’d definitely appreciate both.

Lastly, id like to hear criticism about things broader than mechanics - I know mechanics are crucial but I’m kinda washed rn and I believe I’ll improve with time - like game sense and target priority and cooldown management, and everything like taht.

Is it worth it to go for headshots on controller?

I always had close critical hit rate to higher elo players on console on Bucky while being around only diamond-gm but my overall accuracy was lower by a decent margin. Is it better to be consistent with body shots over trying for headshots?

How good is it to force a support ult with my dps ult?

Like if we assume I’m on Magik, and I know the enemy has two support ultimates and my team has two as well. Do I start the fight with my ult to force them to support ult early and we have the better ults on the long run of the fight? Or do I ult after support ults are already used?

What is in general the passive value of ultimates, that doesn’t directly get picks on the enemy team?

[VOD REQUEST] [DIAMOND3] my team was hard flaming me on bp because of a dive Jeff

10363479021

Saddamhuisein

I’m a gm tank player, and I used this account to play dps only or mostly. On attack This game my team was really tilting to me as they kept complaining about me since the ban phase and afterwards almost the whole game. I know I played mechanically very bad because I was on 200 ping “eu player but added na to find a game faster” and last time I played bp was before Saddam hussein was actually the president of Iraq, but still I feel like I wasn’t completely useless on him.

On defense the enemy was playing dive Jeff - I was never so happy in my games because this was so fun to watch, even if my team clearly wasn’t as happy as me - and I tried to deal with him but again I was horrible mechanically that game specifically and couldn’t kill him many times. And my Bucky was flaming me because I missed all of my cooldowns against the Jeff meanwhile my Magik and the Bucky himself couldn’t kill him at all - I really liked the dive Jeff and I want to implement it in my next games. I swapped to Bucky and then strange in over time and my sensitivity was very Fd on both of them but we managed to win at the end.

So I want to hear my mistakes on bp specifically, beside the mechanical part, more about game sense and engagements timing that I need to improve, because I’m confident I’m mechanically better than I was this game, but I’m not sure anymore about game sense and timing since I actually didn’t play bp in ages.

Is it easier to climb at the end of the season?

U couldn’t really grind rank this season, but I got from plat to gm3 in about 8 hours total of matches with a relatively good win rate. Is it easier to go for celestial the end of the season? I’ve never been there before, my peak was like gm1 but I always stopped mid season from grinding after an unlucky losing streak or a tilting game or whatever.

I’ll be able to play more though in the next two or three weeks, which happens to be the late season, so I’d like to hear yall experience wether it was all throwers and trolling or was it easier to climb.

Apparently in plat strange is considered the best tank in the game

This guy flamed me for banning Dino then proceeded to ban strange with his duo 😭

[VOD REQUEST] [DIAMOND] first game as support in comp

Eomm_agent__69

Console

10830681631

I played the first round as dps, but swapped to Jeff on the second round and this is almost the first time ever I play support in comp except few games with rocket. I feel like I did fine on second map and third map was just horrible, and I died due to unawareness many times.

I swapped Jeff because I saw the second map and I thought it would be good for Jeff to throw people off the map. Also I have some experience with Jeff, in quick match mostly and it was troll and dive Jeff at that.

I know I could blame other teammates for this game, but I want to just hear my mistakes especially that I always was a flex dps and tank player, but very very limited at support.

Me starts the game on bp. Enemy play trip supp namor. Me swap to Bucky

Genuinely people don’t understand that most bp players can outplay many people on their characters, but we play bp cause he’s fun.

Ignore what the enemy gentleman was saying in chat

Who do I watch to learn strange?

I’m already a gm strange player but I’m far from good, and there’s definitely far more to learn, so I’m not clueless about the character.

Is there any high elo streamer, or content creator who plays strange, for me to take notes? Maybe bogur?

I feel that all of strange’s guides and videos are outdated tbh.
