DD is THE WORST character to play on ping

I play usually eu but sometimes I add NA for faster Qs. I played most characters on high ping, like bp, fist, Bucky and most of the tanks and dps roster. DD is the only character that felt genuinely unplayable, with insane no regs and attacks don’t register and combos are all fd up.

Is dual-zone curve better than linear curve?

I’ve played on linear for tens of hours, but I see many people using dual zone and suggesting it. Is it worth it to learn it?

Need advice learning star lord

I only played few games in practice vs ai and quick match. I found him really enjoyable, and also broken imo. My aim is kinda bad, but I’m trying to get into star lord to improve my aim as well. But I don’t understand fully how does his gameplay loop works, or his matchups.

I’d appreciate any general advice or names of star lord players to watch, or guides.

Also feel free if you want to watch the game it was in quick match today, because I’m NOT playing comp rn.

Solo Q if you are curious. It was a fun journey, and far easier than the tank one. I played Magik mainly, or at the beginning at least. And then I started to find Bucky better in some situations, as it felt like torture running Magik into thing, or heavy cc comps. I believe my aim improved considerably doing this as well.

Also before Smurf accusations, this account was my main account before I left the game in season 1.5. My current main account was made in season 4.5 when I returned to the game. So I didn’t make this account to stomp lobbies, and if you see my history you won’t find odd stuff.

Also I felt like dps was far more versatile than tanking in general. For example, it was hell to try and counter bp if thing was banned - at least for me. Also trying to adjust to my team was kinda limited, since I don’t play all tanks at the same level. Meanwhile, learning Magik didn’t take much time from me, and characters like Bucky and Namor were just really easy to pick up, even if I was inconsistent with them.

I found as well that points are more rewarding for playing dps, as it gives you more points, and it’s far easier to farm stats on dps. For example if you short Bucky’s E - I don’t know its name - to a crowd, you’ll get 6 kills if your team wipe them, even if you didn’t do further damage. While on most it will be harder to get 6 kills to your stats from a team wipe fight. So it’s far easier to have better stats, and then lose less points or gain more.

Lastly, I was getting blamed less than when I played tank. Even though I had some games where I did really bad, but people this season, were far more aggressive to my tank than dps. Maybe it was my experience only and not something common.
