I'm in my mid 30s so I did take the bus/train growing up. I vaguely remember that we knew the bus came every 30 or 15 minutes. Idk. I feel like we had a bus schedule but I feel like I'm making that up.

I was excited to use the hot springs but after unlocking them, I've only used them like once ir twice. Maybe its my playstyle but I'm not super deep on min/maxing. So if I'm done with my energy and unless I'm trying to like push through some levels in the mine, I just go to bed.
Maybe if there was a teleport near them that I can unlock, I would use them more.
I'm only in year one right now so maybe things will change.
I started this app about a month ago. I know the main point of it isnt to buy and decorate but I did it for a bit and now nothing in the shop interests me. The supergirl event and this current event has me selling off 90% of the daily rewards. I used to dress my birb up but then decided I like my birb to look like a birb and not a person but I do buy some accesories. Maybe if they have like Halloween or Christmas stuff I'll buy more.
I'm not complaining about the lack of items that I want to buy, it's nice to save up my stones.
Finally finished The Rookie Feds.
It was okay. It got better like halfway through. I found the characters to be a bit too preachy and repetitive. Garza was my favorite. Antoinette reminded me too much of a certain character Brandon was probably the character with the most growth followed by Carter. The acting was rough at some points especially from the minor character. The fashion choices were really bad especially for Laura, she looked like she was dressed for a colder climate in the beginning and it threw me off. Simonie wasn't a bad character once she stopped being so preachy and repetitive. I would have liked to see them mature as the series went on.

In high school there was a group of 3 of us. We were all in AP classes excited for college and future careers. She wanted to be a marine biologist and even did an internship type thing in Florida. Typical high school senior stuff. Then she started dating someone. I remember she told us that she was going to end things in 2 weeks because she didn't like him. She didn't but kept dating and complaining about him. Then she got pregnant. I didn't know at the time but apparently he pressured her into it. Like a month after graduating she was heavily pregnant and I went to her wedding. I remember feeling bad because it was hard for her to kneel at certain parts(Catholic wedding).
Me and another friend went off to college. She had her baby. I came back from college after the first semester due to depression and never went back to a 4 year. I did eventually get my Associates. She tried to work at a pet store and I think she got her Associates too. Eventually she stopped working and kept having kids. Luckily she lived super close to her parents so they help out. I think when she was on her third, I was fb digging and saw a post from her mom about how she had a vision that she was surrounded by 100 grandchildren and that's been her dream. That gave me the weirdest feeling especially when her younger sister also got pregnant in high school. My friends fb posts were filled with memes about how her husband didn't help around the house and kid memes and pictures.
She popped in my head recently and I learned that she's now on her 8th kid anf one kid has down syndrome. Like the girl I knew was super smart, ambitious, funny, talented. She never mentioned that she wanted a big family or even kids at all. I just know her older kids are being parentified and that makes me sad too. We've had the same education, luckily our school district had comprehensive sex education so we were taught birth control and at a certain point she could have stopped this but idk if she just lost sight of it. We're both now 36.
Like I know people can change their minds about their life but she went to being steps away from college to becoming a stay at home mom in no time at all. I'm happy she has a support system via her mom, I don't see the father in any pictures. And I'm not looking down at her or anything, like the only good thing I have atm is a place to stay and a full time job. I guess I feel sad because of the potential she had.
I'm not anti kids. I think I do want one kid but I want a better salary and to find a good enough partner. I don't think it's going to happen especially now that I'm older.
I know not everyone would read it but could we have a pinned post for "Things like Widows Bay?" And like an auto mod thing that sends people to it? I know not everyone is on reddit a lot and depending on what their feed shows them, they might not see it pop up but this topic comes up multiple times a day every day(it feels like). It was really bad right after the show ended.

Im watching The Rookie Feds where they did a Thanksgiving episode and it made me realize that The Rookie never did one. They've done a couple of Halloween ones, a few Valentines day and I think one NYE episode. Yes they were cheesy but thats why I like the rookie.
Also watching the Feds and knowing it was cancelled connects the dots on why the cases on The Rookie have become higher profile. They should go back to smaller scale cases.

I've been doing punch needle off and on for about a year but I've been a bit more consistant these past few months. I'm just wondering how to improve because a lot of my projects seem basic and needs work. How did people here improve?
I do plan on getting more tools, right now I'm just using a basic needle that I got out of a kit.
I dont want to keep practicing and doing it the wrong way so Im not actually improving and I'm going to look around my area to see if they have any punch needle classes.
I'm on a 40 day streak and going to be short 3 days of prizes. I did miss 2 days but I used a repair thing and I was able to collect the previous days' gift.
Not sure why, I usually don't watch shows like this meaning network tv. I think the last show I watched like this was How To Get Away With Murder. I put this show on just for background noise and found myself actually watching it. Now its my show to watch while I craft.

I'm a black woman and I've always been attracted to people of different races/nationalites. I grew up in a diverse area and my friends are from different backgrounds. But in terms of dating, I feel overlooked and I feel black women are overlooked in general. Yeah ofc there are lots of interracial relationships but the men I see mainly date asian or white women. I feel like if you're black you have to look like a supermodel or have a certain look, which I'm not either of those things. I know everyone has their type but it feels like I'm not it. I have dated and have had a few long term relationships(two 6 year relationships) but they end and they end up with someone not like me. Like I was the "not serious" try.

Maybe I'm just thrown for a loop because one of my friends got married and it's making me feel extra lonely. I go out, made new friends and I've been comfortable being single this past year and a half but I still get lonely and at 35 I feel like I'm going to continue to be single and ultimatly no one wants to be with me.
Can be for the train or bus. I haven't done a lot but trying keep it fun..like ofc Ive never used the bathroom on the cta.
