Who else plays a right-handed guitar here?

The issue isn’t that I cannot use a pick, but my right arm feels awkward just hanging out sometimes since with everything else I’m predominantly left handed. Any tips on how to force it to feel less rigid so I’m not overthinking styling?

Looking For A Simple Rock Drum Pattern

Working on a new riff today. Looking for different type of drums. Just a steady beat, one or two fills if you’re feeling fancy. It can be a raw or rough recording. that’s fine. Id do it myself but I don’t own a drum kit. I’ll send you the riff if you’d like a reference.

Physical Recovery Methods

What do you all do to rest/recharge your bodies, or release some tension? I already stretch, do some light yoga, etc. so I’m not looking for that answer. Maybe something more specific? My body’s telling me to chill out for a minute.

Mood Needed: Walking through a forest when it’s overcast/muggy.

I’m not very into popular rap, modern country, or things like that.

I prefer rock, metal, dnb, idm, funk, punk, experimental. Well or lesser known artists, doesn’t really matter.

Nothing A.I. or thin-sounding.

Edit: thanks so far, keep em coming. I’m a music fiend so I’ll listen to everything eventually. I’m also looking for an exploratory, curious mood, like stumbling across something ancient, interesting, or finding a mysterious yet charming side quest. Sad songs are fine, of course, but nothing too depressing.

Beat collab needed.

Looking for a groove, kinda rock-ish beat. Not looking for anything too artificial sounding. I can clean it up, add to it, splice it if needed.

Who’s going to the L.A. concert?

So I’ll be attending the L.A. show in September. Is anyone else going? Want to grab a drink or some quick bites before the show?

Also looking for hotel recommendations for that weekend and some cool things to do around town during the day.

Looking for Feedback, Collaboration, Communities

Looking for criticism on how some instrumental parts sound, looking for ideas for drum beats. Looking to connect.

Getting tired of listening to my own stuff and need fresh ears that will point out things that aren’t gelling, what may work better, and polish it up or add a little extra. I’m craving new ideas, inspiration, or any in depth opinions.

I have some short examples in socials. Those aren’t indicative of any locked in style, just what I felt like doing at that exact time, whenever I messed with it. If I find the right people we can share more and give insight, possibly collaborate more than that if we decide it’s a fit. I figured I should reach out online since I’m naturally a bit more secluded now. I’m trying to come out of a hermit phase, so to speak. Just be more open to sharing.

My style varies. I write classic sounding melodic parts but also rock-ish things. Looking to do some art rock/rock experimental stuff, I don’t know what to call it. I just do whatever I feel like doing in the moment and need people that want to do the same or want to take the time to explore that with me a bit. I don’t have a goal besides collaboration for the sake of making things. Reconnecting with what I was missing. I dont know who I sound like. I’ve only ever learned one or two covers so I could sing over chords , just to give an extremely short backstory of my playing style/learning history.

I assume this link will work. It’s to my account with snippets.

I believe I cannot repost or link to my social account on here. Correct me if I’m wrong. I can DM a link.

Edit: Maybe Reddit doesn’t respond to things like this or I’m not doing things people vibe with or need to post other ideas that are more palatable or finished and less about the process. In that case, anyone know other places to look?

Question

Does anyone know how to send a quick inquiry his way? A bit curious about something, feels a bit self indulgent for a lack of a better term right now. DM me if so.

Looking for A Place to Get Feedback

I see posts in this sub of people learning other songs, but do any of you know of a legitimate subreddit or small community to get feedback on original material?

Picking Practice Guidance

So I’m in a weird spot. I can play with my fingers, do arpeggios, tremolos with and without a pick, but I’m having a hard time with economy and sweeps while using a pick with my non dominant hand. I think with some songs I’m writing I’d have to learn hybrid better or record two guitar parts. Any recommendations for online lessons or guidance of any kind would be very much appreciated.
