My friend who used to hate Dottore even in 6.3 but still find him cool now loves Dottore a lot after doing today's quest and was sad to see him go. But I had her connect some dots and convinced her of his return and playability with the latest proof!!!

For those who saw the ending part
We see after his goodbyes with Pantalone he burns away and we get a black screen where he talks to Nahida. Not even showing how he talks or what happens.
Did they do this cause they surely are bringing him back? I think this openish ending for him and that egg brings me some hope

Hmm...
Imagine a world where Capitano never sat, Dottore never died with no OG left and Signora was never killed to market Ei. Wonderful possibility isn't it?
Legit three of the best designs and one is sleeping, one is dead and one is about to die. Firm believer of Capitano return and release in 7.x but why, what's so difficult in opening up his motivations and having Nahida understand him and eventually release him with his backstory. What was so difficult about not killing Signora and having her story on screen instead of artifacts, they would have made bank with her banner.
I believer this is not the end for him despite my previous doomings today but man it's gonna be so long again till we see him.
