Dies NID hostel almirahs have built in locks or do we have to carry keys for them? (Asking for boys hostel)

I have dead pixels on my iphone 16 that i bought on 30 june 2025
Its still under limited warranty but no applecare+
Can i get my screen replaced for free under it?

The pixel appeared on its own and the phone didnt face any strong impact which caused dead pixels.

I dont want any 3rd party replacement as im scared it might cause harm
My uncle got 3rd party replacement and later his phone was unusable and face id also didnt work.

I have Iphone 16
Currently running ios version 26.5

I got selected both in NID and NIFT for Mdes
I got cmr 75 in NIFT and open rank 3 in NID (Mdes Apparel Design)

I have paid fees and everything for NID but a last minute doubt is making me anxious now that nift results are out too

People are saying to go nid only but my heart questions that what if nift provides better placement and opportunities 😭

Ill be doing apparel design and from what ive heard nid doesn’t provide good placement support for that course and it depends only in how we curate our portfolio. Although we would have to do the same in nift, atleast there is better placement opportunities (I guess)

Can someone please share their opinion on this?

As i was going through list of holidays and academic calendar i couldn’t see any specific detail on holidays for diwali/dussehra or any other festival

Does NID provide long leaves on “big festivals” like these so that students can go back to their homes?

I use both of them and i have noticed apple music sounds a bit dull. Like it does sound good but something is definitely missing. Tried it on every device and multiple headphones and earphones too

I love music! Lately i have been seeing a surge of people leaving streaming platforms and switching to “owning” music. Its just that ipods are hella expensive these days. Moreover i have more than 5000 songs that i like. Buying it would cost a fortune, and then owning music too. Saving mp3 is literally piracy and also degrades the files too, so that “lossless” experience is also hampered.

How do yall manage it? And Like what was your motivation and why did yall switch?

I loveeee genshin on my pc but ill be leaving home for my university and i am buying this laptop. I heard about Yaagl.

My main concern is that will it degrade the battery life of my macbook faster?
And will my MacBook overheat and throttle on medium graphics? Ill be playing on 30 fps too

I dont wanna use play cover crossover etc. I want the full PC experience.

I have finally been allotted a seat there and I’m really curious about what the overall learning experience is like. What kind of subjects and projects are included in the curriculum? Is the course more focused on conceptual/design thinking, technical garment construction, research, textiles, styling, branding, or digital fashion?
I’d also love to know:
what the studio/project culture is like

how hectic the workload usually gets

what kind of workshops and industry exposure we get

what softwares/tools students usually end up learning and actually using during the course

whether there is a strong focus on CLO3D/Adobe or more hands-on physical work

Also how is placements there (I’ve heard negatively about it from others tho)

Would really appreciate hearing from current students/alumni about their actual experience with the course 😭
