Two little known things about taxis and bus lanes, especially for the aggressive merging drivers!!

When approaching a junction or the end of a bus lane, taxi drivers must adhere to standard safety regulations and “not assume” automatic priority over all other vehicles, especially if they are changing lanes., most lanes are on the left and merge into a normal lane to the right, you do not have priority but can merge using the yellow box if traffic is stopped.

A taxi must be actively "working" (carrying a passenger or on the way to a booking) to use the lane.
