Not just the main cast, but all the other actors. Be it the victims, killers, other supporting roles. Everyone acts SO WELL. Like the hurt and disappointment and the crazy glint the killers have. I have never never thought about this so much for any other show/series. I, however keep on thinking about this multiple times for this show. Another reason i like this show ig. Also why is the acting SO MUCH BETTER than what we have now????

Lisbon is always underestimated by policemen when they have to work together, or under the other team. Like whenever she has had to interact with another area's police, they are never taking her seriously, and prefer talking to her boss or outright ignore her. She is a badass, nevertheless. Doesn't let them get away with it, but it still infuriates me

English is my second language but since I have been learning it from childhood and am quite decent at it. Like vocab wise and grammar wise. But if i were to talk about topic on the spot or simply discuss it , i struggle putting my thoughts and ideas into words. Like ik what i wanna speak but in order to have a more coherent and effective dialogue, I get very... confused? or scared. Basically i need help for my course related work, like being able to express thoughts about my topic (neuroscience and psych), I wanna be able to talk about it with professors and experts in their fields without seeming like a kid who is tryna act all smarty pants and tryna make an impression for the sake of it.

I know that I can practice the past year tsa and bmat papers, but I am looking for ways to tune my brain to UNDERSTAND these questions more. My math and numerical based reasoning or wtv is pretty bad. Like I struggle a lot with simple visualisation of questions, consequently don't get the right answers. Are there some types of exercises or sm that can strengthen my skills? Like not necessarily for these pyqs, but just in general so I don't struggle so much?

I wanna build a good profile for my college applications and even tho it's psychology that I am applying for, I still wanna have a good hold on neurology that I can showcase too. What type of things can I look into? I am a HS graduate btw

Alr, before coming after me, hear me out. She is a gorgeous woman and significantly contributes to the show. However she IS kind of always intentionally leaving out van pelt. I saw ts happen repeatedly. She always (mostly) leaves her to do the office or ressearch work, whenever needed. For instance I was watching this episode of s3 wherein the case was related to horse racing and van pelt said again and again that she grew up around them and could help, SHE DIDN'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE HER POINT. However Jane noticed and took her along. Also the amount of times she says "really?' with one eyebrow raised, when Jane says anything.

I am someone who is pretty bad at math. I tried for this entrance exam last year (Oxford TSA, if anyone knows about it) but couldnt do well. It is generally about questions like pattern recognition, speed and time type questions, money questions and the main difficulty element is the time constraint. I have roughly 3 months to prep for it. How might i practice ? I am hoping to get good suggestions from all the smart ppl here.

I am 17yo (Indian) graduated hs this year. I started applying to unis abroad like oxford,kcl,ucl etc last year. in hopes that if i got into those with 100% scholarship. i didn't, although i got admission in kcl,manchester, unimelb, bristol,deakin (but no scholarship). I tried shit ton for it and ig my entrance cooked me for oxford but now i feel like i can do it well (the test). ANYWAY, i began applying to unis here, and there are like barely 2 unis here that will actually help me in my career plans. I planned on attending either of these and then simultaneously working on my profile and then ultimately transferring to a top uni abroad in my 2nd year. Guess what. Didn't get into them either. Lol. So basically, i have no university offer to avail. IK i could study in a mid uni but that will actually do me more harm imo. Because i wanna study abroad if not for bachelors via transfer, atleast for my masters and shi, also they will SEVERELY lack in even the basic-est opportunities. moreover the tag of that uni is gonna be like a stain for my application.

Which is why i think of giving myself a year. I build my skills via seminars,webinars, online courses, books, research, internships, etc,etc. and THEN i apply to unis both abroad and india and get admitted into all of them. (If anyone knows about oxford's ug application for 2027, pls dm me, i got some questions) And lemme make this clear, i alr have a good profile and have things in mind which i can do to further strengthen it. My goal is to become sm in life, not only getting into a good uni. I wanna make or be sm i can be proud of. Make a real difference, not just wound up getting a job. Which is prolly why i kind of wanna give myself a year, but what if things still don't work out? idk, oh forgot to mention, I am a psych/neuroscience student.

I have already read " The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat" and Mainly watch yt vids. what are some books that you would recommend in order to know more about it. Maybe like some normal books and one academic one. I wanna know things before I even begin college. (17f)

I really don't wanna sound like a creep😭😭. I am 17f and want to learn russian so i can not only use it for convos but also so that i can read lev vygotsky and other psychologists' original work.
