Sadamitsu the Destroyer (Hakaima Sadamitsu) by Masahiko Nakahira

>Tsubaki Sadamitsu is a young delinquent and the leader of the Corpse Gang, who after a chance encounter with an alien robot is forced to take up the task of capturing intergalactic criminals named Exiled Ones. His job is made harder with the appearance of the Vulture, a last-ditch effort to keep the Exiled Ones under control. - MAL

10 episodes / 12 volumes- sci-fi, mecha, school setting - 2001. (anime) 1999.-2006. (manga)

This was a very strange anime; the MC is a samurai fanatic delinquent who gets thrown into a sci-fi setting via a robot's helmet. He loves fighting but hates killing. The OST is like watching an italian western movie. The animation is decent, but nothing extravagant.

Honestly, I should rewatch this since it's been too long and I forgot most of it but I wonder; has anyone else heard of this one? Is it good or is it bad, in your opinion?

"Hotel Harbour View" by Natsuo Sekikawa (art by Jiro Taniguchi)

Tags: mystery, drama, noir

1 volume / 2 chapters

Two linked stories, both revolving around a deadly female assassin. In Hotel Harbour View, a Japanese expatriate in Hong Kong spends his time drinking whisky, photographing a high class prostitute and waiting for death at the hands of the assassin he knows is coming for him. In Brief Encounter, a notorious Parisian assassin is himself marked for assassination and his hunter is no stranger to him. (Manga Updates)

Honestly, art is the best part of this one. The stories revoke that "noir film" feeling; guns, beautiful women, lonely men, some deep reasoning for everything that happened or is about to happen. The plots are short and offer just a quick view in the darker version of both Hong Kong and Paris.

A newer work in same setting, also featuring Taniguchi's westernlike art is Benkei in New York.

"Postojeći" i nepostojeći nogostupi

Ima li načina da se ovakva infrastruktura popravi u korist pješaka?

Just saw S2E06 "Guise Will Be Guise", I think the show needed a "breather" episode in terms of comedy

And this thing delivered! Would love a Wyndam-Pryce Agency.

>In a uninhabitable Siberian wilderness, in a wake of October Revolution, a group of passengers survives the mysterious catastrophe of Trans-Siberian railway train. They must endure in a harsh ice-clad climate until rescue arrives. Facing many dangers, their own weaknesses and, above all, their own prejudice. People from different social classes have to unite and make decisions that often go against their beliefs, either by putting them to the test or by completely breaking them. Will they survive and at what cost is only up to the player.

>The basic mechanics of the game will focus on the survival of the characters (meeting their needs, gathering resources, expanding the camp, taking care of security, exploring surroundings), but the player will quickly find out that in order to win, he needs much more: to learn the personality of the characters and work out relations between them, mitigating conflicts and taking care of the morale. You may choose to act selfish but it is cooperation that will allow you to win and keep clear conscience.

>In Help Will Come Tomorrow you will:

>- Overcome class animosities between your party members in order to survive in an innovative class relations building system.
- Manage scarce resources and stay alive in frosty wilderness of Siberia before help arrives.
- Guide 9 unique characters coming from different social origins and grouping in three society classes
- Discover intimate stories and past of all party members
- Build and expand your own camp to increase the chances of survival
- Face dynamically changing weather conditions and unforgiving Siberian wildlife affecting survivors life
- Experience in-game Event system based on characters relations and morale
- Immerse yourself in touching story set in 1917 pre - Bolschevik Imperial Russia

Igra je trenutno 3€ na GoG-u (zaokruženo).

If a stranger were to turn your life for the better, how would they do it?

Get that job you didn't, buy a winning lottery ticket, make some minor decision earlier on that was life-changing down the line?

Identifikacija osipa na dječjoj koži?

Pojavljuje se u dodiru s toplom vodom, nestane samo od sebe kako je i došlo. Ne svrbi i ne napreduje u mjehuriće niti slično.

The Patients We Fear: Life in a Forensic Psychiatric Hospital (2014) [1:26:30]

>Behind the locked doors of a forensic psychiatric hospital, people who have committed violent crimes while suffering from severe mental illness struggle for a second chance. With unprecedented access to the Brockville Mental Health Centre, this documentary follows patients undergoing treatment in an institution rarely seen by the public. Over 18 months, both patients and staff reveal the realities of life inside—where recovery, responsibility, and risk are constantly weighed.

As some patients prepare to return to society, the film raises a difficult question: can those who committed violent acts while mentally ill truly be rehabilitated—and will society ever accept them?

"Iwata's Grandma (2025.) [00:29:59]"

Why does Iwata's Grandma refuse to be in photos? This animation documentary is based on a picture book about the atomic bomb tragedy but conveys kindness and hope rather than fear and anxiety.

Anyone familiar with this little mouse?

Got it ages ago in a donation box sent over to us, like, 20-25 years ago. No tags. No tail on the back, just orange. Small brown plastic eyes.
