I am sitting here feeding my baby. I have started making posts on multiple subs but then deleting them. I have a lot of thoughts and feelings and emotions right now and decided I don't know how to type them out so I just started crying instead. Nothing too crazy or exciting. Just money troubles and slight husband communication troubles. But, nonetheless, enough to make me just cry before bed, pissed that I woke up today, and now crying in morning time.

I look down at my baby who is now dream feeding, and see her smile in her sleep. It's precious. Tears are still coming down, but maybe inside I am hurting a little less.

i need help finding a reddit where i belong based on my socioeconomic status. i'd like to be able to talk about my money concerns. we are 2 adults, 1 infant, bringing in 60k a year, in the midwest.

it just feels weird being able to say yeah i get everything i need but my bills are never not behind. i know people live in poverty and off less money than we do.

do middle class people live paycheck to paycheck and are behind like this? am i considered middle class? just confused and need community

I’m looking for books for my infant now 6 month old, who will be 9 months at Christmas. She’ll most likely get these books from her teacher grandmother for Christmas ☺️ Firstly, I’m looking for general children’s books in English.

Secondly, I’m looking for children’s books en español. Her other grandmother is from Dominican Republic. Doesn’t have to be Dominican, but that’s a big plus! We have found Plátanos Go With Everything / Los Plátanos Van Con Todo, but looking for more! Also, is there a book about a burro (donkey) somewhere? I saw a tv show one time reading a book about a burro and it was cute but now I’m doubting if it’s a real book. Lol

I just found this sub and wanted to share the thing that has bothered me about her lately. I was at her house and was attempting to breastfeed my baby. Baby was crying and it was hard to get her on because of that and we didn’t have our usual nursing pillow. So I’m trying and then my mil comes up to us and she’s trying to move my baby’s head onto my boob. I may be overreacting in my thinking of that she’s trying to shove my daughter’s head, even if on my boob. I obviously didn’t ask for her help and I’m super annoyed she did this. I couldn’t even say anything because I’m such a non confrontational person so I just brought my baby closer to me so I could do it myself. It’s just extra hard because she doesn’t know English well and I don’t know Spanish well either.

Y’all. I’m so sad right now. I’ve been experimenting with different foods as to which one makes my breastfed baby’s stomach hurt to high hell. It’s peanut butter. I have a jar of pb, pb cups, and regular peanuts. And. I. Can’t. Eat. Them. Anymore! 😭 Someone make me feel better.

My child is biracial. When my mom was showing one of her friends a picture of my child, her friend said, oh wow, she’s really tan for a baby. My mom said uhhh well she’s biracial so no she’s not tan, lol. Her friend was like omg lol I forgot 😂

My child has a government name and a nickname. I use her nickname probably 7/10x. I have never said she needed to be called by her nickname to anybody. It wouldn’t really matter to me which name they would call her. My mom has not taken up the nickname but surprisingly my grandmother has. My HOH grandfather asked me, is it still New-mi? I said huh? Oh you mean Nomi? (Long O sound) 😂 He definitely knows her government name though, which makes it extra funny.

When you have a c section done, they shift your intestines, right? Maybe that has something to do with this? I am 8w pp. I took miralax for 3w + iron supplements for 30 days. I felt good after that, until 2 weeks ago I had bad trapped gas pressing on my diaphragm. I had to hand baby off to husband for the rest of the night. I felt like shit I couldn’t even hold her. Being a new mom it feels like I’m failing her or rejecting her. I did everything to get it moving and spend upwards to an hour doing so until sleep took me. Kicking, pulling knees to chest, walking, pretending to be having sex from the back lmao, stretching, massaging, using some of the baby’s gripe water lol, tums. It happened again last night and the same routine. I woke up feeling better and the day was alright, but then around 4pm I’m starting to get that feeling again and I feel it under my diaphragm forming. I’ve put it together where it’s from me eating multiple fibrous foods together in one meal, which I have not ate today but I still feel it coming on. I’ve been pooping regularly as well. Anything I can do? This has never happened to me pre birth. In fact, I was convinced that I was GI’ly unstoppable. Anyone have any issues?

Also, it feels like I can’t control peeing when I am actively peeing. That may sound weird. This is probably normal.
