Questions about NHS 111 Call handler job and getting adjustments. Autistic

I have Autism and mild to moderate Chronic fatigue syndrome. I am interested in applying for a part time NHS 111 job but I don't know if they would be able to make adjustments for me. I am oversensitive to noise and light and get fatigued by prolonged interaction and sensory input. I need regular short rest breaks. I would find constant back-to-back calls draining. For a job I would request adjustments such as a noise cancelling headset, a work environment away from bright florescent light and regular short rest breaks when needed but I'm not sure they would be able to accommodate this.

How long is each call? Do you get short breaks between each call and how long is the gap between each call? What percentage of calls would you say are highly stressful / difficult? Is each call guided via the system or a script? If there are any autistic ppl in the job can you tell me how it is, and if you managed to get adjustments?

Autistic, Asexual, Vaginismus

Are there a lot of autistic women who have Vaginismus? I'm autistic, highly sensitive and asexual. I think I have vaginismus. I can't use tampons as I find it painful. Wondering if this is common amongst Autistic women with sensory differences. I've never gone to a smear test because I'm too anxious and know it will be too difficult and painful for me. I would prefer a non-invasive test.

Autistic, HSP, Asexual...

Are there a lot of asexual autistic women? I'm autistic, highly sensitive and asexual. I think I have vaginismus. I can't use tampons as I find it painful and once I nearly fainted when trying to use one, not sure if this is common amongst autistic women with sensory differences. I've never gone to a smear test because I'm too anxious and I know it will be painful and uncomfortable for me. I would prefer a non-invasive screening test.

Difficult brother, ignoring my health needs and making me feel worse

My brother is insensitive towards me and ignores my difficulties. It's like he doesn't care or doesn't want to believe my health problems and make me look bad for saying 'no'. He makes plans without considering my health conditions or limitations, and then expects me to just go along with them. When I explain that I don’t feel able to go somewhere, he rarely asks what I would feel comfortable with or suggests alternatives I could join in with.

I’ve explained my health conditions many times, but it often feels like he either doesn’t believe me or doesn’t take them seriously. I’m autistic and have CFS, so I prefer places that feel manageable and close to home.

Recently, I explained to both him and his wife that I wasn’t trying to ruin their plans — I just need more consideration and flexibility. His wife actually suggested making a list of places so I could say which ones I’d feel comfortable with, which I appreciated. But my brother immediately rejected the idea and said, “Why should we do that for her? She should do it herself.”

That response really hurt because it made me feel like I’m viewed as a burden for needing reasonable adjustments. I already spend a lot of time self-advocating, and it’s exhausting when someone close to me shows so little understanding.

I also feel frustrated because I think he presents our relationship differently to his wife than how it actually is. We’re not close, and I often feel ignored or talked down to by him. At the same time, there seems to be an expectation for me to spend a lot of time visiting and socialising, which puts pressure on me because of my health and energy limitations.

I’m tired of people-pleasing and pretending everything is fine when it isn’t.

struggle to find suitable job and feel unemployable

Is working as a teaching assistant in UK a stressful job and do you end up having take work home with you? I was thinking of trying to become a primary or SEN teaching assistant but not sure if I could handle the job as I have Autism, chronic fatigue syndrome and ADHD so I'm not sure I'd be suitable and if they'd be able to make adjustments for me. The only other 2 jobs I think I could do is part time basic admin/data entry or part time school cleaning (with adjustments e.g. rest breaks allowed) but struggle to find suitable jobs in my area and not having any luck. I have limited capability but I'm in the work related activity group. However I feel like it's pointless me looking for work, it feels impossible and risky.
