Would you play a Roblox Resort Tycoon like this? Looking for honest feedback

Hey everyone,

We’re currently developing a Roblox Resort Tycoon and I’d love to get some honest feedback on the concept before we keep adding more systems.

The main idea is that you build and manage your own resort/hotel, but we want it to feel more alive than a traditional tycoon where you just buy buttons and watch money go up.

The basic gameplay loop would be:

Build resort → attract guests → serve guests → earn money & reviews → upgrade → unlock new facilities/areas → attract better/more demanding guests → expand

Guests actually arrive at your resort in cars and in groups. They enter the reception queue, check in, get assigned to a room and then stay at the resort.

During their stay they can use things you’ve built, such as beds, TVs, chairs and eventually larger facilities/activities.

How good their stay was affects things like:

  • Guest reviews
  • Your resort/star rating
  • How much money you earn
  • What types of guests you can attract
  • Your progression/unlocks

We also want management to matter. For example, better staff/service, better rooms and more/better facilities should improve the experience instead of everything simply being cosmetic.

The goal is to create a game people can keep coming back to for weeks/months, rather than finishing the entire tycoon in one session.

We’re considering things like:

  • Resort/star ratings
  • Guest reviews
  • Staff and service upgrades
  • Different guest types
  • Higher-level guests with bigger expectations
  • New resort areas/expansions
  • Quests and progression goals
  • Daily rewards/offline progression
  • Lots of freedom in how you design your resort

What I’d really like feedback on:

  1. Does this sound like something you would actually play?
  2. What would make you keep coming back after the first few hours?
  3. What would make this different enough from existing Roblox hotel/resort tycoons?
  4. Would you prefer more focus on building/designing or on management/strategy?
  5. What feature do you think is absolutely necessary for a game like this?
  6. What would make you stop playing?
  7. Are there any existing Roblox games we should look at for inspiration — or things we should specifically avoid copying?

Feel free to be critical. We’d much rather discover now that something sounds boring or repetitive than after spending months developing it.

Thanks!

I’m building a cash flow tool for small businesses ,would you use this?

Hey everyone,

I’m working on an idea for a cash flow tool that helps business owners get a clearer view of their future cash position.

Instead of only seeing what’s currently in your bank account, the idea is to show things like:

  • expected cash flow for the coming months;
  • outstanding invoices;
  • upcoming expenses;
  • different financial scenarios;
  • early warnings when cash might get tight.

I’ve built a first version of the website here:
https://cashflow-website-4490.vercel.app/

I’m mainly looking for honest feedback before investing a lot more time into it.

Would you use something like this?
If not, why not?

I’d also love to know:

  • How do you currently manage or forecast your cash flow?
  • What do you dislike or miss in your current setup?
  • What would make a tool like this worth paying for?

Any criticism is welcome. I’m mainly trying to figure out whether this solves a real problem or if I’m building something nobody actually needs 😅

  • wat je verwachte cashflow de komende maanden is;
  • welke facturen nog binnenkomen;
  • welke kosten eraan komen;
  • verschillende scenario’s kunt bekijken;

Zouden jullie zoiets gebruiken?

Alle kritiek is welkom. Ik probeer vooral te ontdekken of dit daadwerkelijk een probleem oplost of dat ik iets aan het bouwen ben waar niemand op zit te wachten 😅

I kept losing track of project-related emails (quotes, client replies, attachments, etc.), especially when multiple jobs were running at the same time.

I’d check my inbox at the end of the day and spend way too much time trying to piece together what was going on per project.

So I built a tool to fix that.

It connects to your email and:

- automatically links emails to the right project

- summarizes them with AI, you can ask the AI about the project/ emails

- gives you a clear overview of what’s going on (tasks, priorities, open questions)

The idea is simple:

you don’t have to organize anything during the day — everything happens in the background. So when you finally check at night, it’s already structured.

It’s mainly built for small construction / installation businesses where most communication still runs through email and people aren’t sitting behind a desk all day.

You can also:

- ask questions about a project (like “what’s the current status?”)

- and keep communication with your team in one place per project

It’s live now, but I’m not trying to sell anything here — just trying to understand if this actually fits real workflows.

Would something like this be useful in your day-to-day work?

Or what would be missing for it to actually work for you?

I kept losing track of project-related emails (quotes, client replies, attachments, etc.), especially when multiple projects were running at the same time.

So I built a tool that:

- automatically reads incoming emails

- summarizes them with AI

- links them to the right project

- and gives a clear overview of tasks, priorities and open questions

It also helps you go a bit further:

- tasks can be picked up and planned in one place

- you can ask the AI questions about a project (like status, decisions, or what still needs to be done)

- and collaborate with your team in a shared project chat

It’s mainly aimed at small businesses like installers or service companies that live in their inbox.

It’s live now and people can create an account.

I’m not trying to sell here, I just want honest feedback:

Would something like this actually be useful in your workflow?

What would be missing?
