Help me come up with hijinx for a royal wedding adventure!

I'm writing a mini adventure based on a wedding scenario.

The party have been tasked by the planner to ensure the wedding between a megastar bard and a celebrity gladiator goes smoothly.

What are scenarios that would be funny to include? This takes place in a big city.

Do you prefer high level one shots or low level ones?

A core player is out and the GM is running one shots until they're back.

Im curious if you guys have preferences with the level of one shots you play/run.

I feel like one shots allow users to explore the high level power fantasy without the GM having to worry too much about a misbalanced mechanic derailing everything.

But low level play is easier to pick up for a game where they players may not be too comfortable with builds.

Do you prefer to run high level one shots or low level ones?

High level as in higher than your current/usual campaign(s).

A core player is out for a few weeks and the GM is intending to run one shots until they're back.

I feel like one shots allow users to enjoy the high level power fantasy in a lot of RPGs without the GM having to worry too much about a misbalanced mechanic derailing everything.

I also feel like low level play is easier to pick up for a game where they players may not be too comfortable with builds.

This is definitely system dependent. I am curious how the system may affect this decision o please list your ttrpg of choice too :D

How crowded is this space? Who else here is building a VTT?

Someone mentioned in another thread that a lot of people are building VTTs right now. And it's a rather crowded space. Trying to get a headcount for it.

Might as well ask: what's special about the one you're building?

Can't decide which one to wear for an important meeting with the Product Director of Roll20

I got these at the auction! Honestly did not think I would win :|

But here I am and they look sooo good! I love the sam signed his hand of all places!

But yeah, I've a meeting coming up with the Roll20 product director and I feel like it would be a fun move to wear one of these. Which one though?

I think the meeting it supposed to be pretty casual but it could mean a lot for the future and direction of my app and how it will integrate with their systems.

[No Spoilers] I've a meeting with the Roll20 Product Director coming up, which one should I wear?

My shirts arrived!

Sorry for procrastinating on them so much. Been a crazy busy last few weeks.

I also filmed an opening video. But my gf walked in during it so I need to edit out a few frames and a bit of audio. Will share once it's ready.

But yeah! I've a meeting coming up with the product director at roll20 to explore how I can best integrate my dice roller/rpg companion app to their platform. And I feel like I should wear something more topical and DnD related.

And DnD doesn't get much better than Sam Riegel! (huge fan). Which one should I wear though?

Edit: The meeting went well! I learned a bunch of Roll20 secrets and Phroll20 is not confirmed but there's a chance it might really happen in the future!

I wore the Sam on Sam on Sam shirt with a blue button down over it that I did a reveal with at the start of the meeting. Thanks u/solidrok for the brilliant suggestion!

Hi! I'm Muyao. I'm building the world's best dice roller app. I'm trying to expand beyond traditional TTRPGs to properly supporting gamebooks as well.

I'm looking to add gamebook specific partnerships and collaborations!

If you guys are a gamebook writer/publisher and would like to talk please comment below or reach out via DMs or Socials or email (collabs@phroller.com)

If you're not but have any writers/publishers you think I could reach out to. I'd love to know them as well! My background is primarily in DnD 5e so I'm really not familiar with the different

How is Phroller different? It's build with user delightfulness at the mission statement level. It features a customized physics engine that has many of the quirks and oddities of real dice. And a ton of features built in to maximize user enjoyment. It's highly customizable with widgets and tools to assist to assist with in game play.

Do you generally use one type of dice? Do you sometimes need multiple colors of dice at the same time? What's the most dice you'd ever roll at once?

Trackers! I was told that sometimes you'd need to track HP and Inventory. How extensively do you need to do so? What other types of trackers do you commonly find yourself using? Do the trackers have any special requirements?

Been working with Josh from Indieformer on this tray featuring actual assets from Feed The Scorchpot game! It's not too late to back them still for some more exciting stretch goals!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/indieformer/feed-the-scorchpot-videogame

Want to try this tray in Phroller? Visit Phroller.com to learn more!

Unlike almost all other virtual dice rollers, I optimized a physics gaming engine so you control how the dice are tossed!

It also features quality of life features like highlighting of the dice results, roll history, open pdf files and more

Will vibrate as you shake the dice and when they collide for that satisfying bag of marbles feeling. (not available on devices that don’t vibrate, obviously)

Customizable trackers for HP, Spell Slots, and Tea!

Phroller is available on Android and iOS devices. Working toward a Steam release as well!

I had the eBay open because I was curious what the bids were at.

I saw the numbers move really quickly and wanted to press the danger button for one of the bundles Ashley tossed together last second.

The numbers were moving super quickly so i thought i'd be safe. Nope. the numbers stopped moving the moment I pressed submit bid.

My gf and fam are kinda upset at me but ah well at least it's for a good cause. Cancer sucks! And I love Sam Riegel. And maybe I can work out a way to write it off as a business expense.

I'll post pictures once I have them!

Edit: They just arrived! They were shipped to my mom's though and my car won't start. Just brought it to the mechanic. So going to be a bit before I actually get to show them off :|
