I’ve got a huge sketchbook I plan on filling with just portraits. I’ve been on a huge AIC kick lately. So In celebration of the Unplugged 30th anniversary and rerelease, the first page goes to Layne.
So crazy I was born just two weeks before this concert happened.
Just laying down the initial shading right now. I’ll post the finished product when I’m done.

I just got this Thai con about a week ago from Target. I brought it home and repotted it cuz whatever Target pots their plants in is awful. Sized up the pot about 2 inches and watered it. The soil is a super chunky mix of orchid bark, coco chips, perlite and potting soil. Since then I’ve had to cut off 3 leaves because they’ve turned brown like this one.

So I got this lil guy from Lowe’s on Wednesday.

First pic is from Thursday morning I repotted it in sphagnum moss and perlite with distilled water and put it in full sun. Second pic is what it looks like now. The pitchers don’t look as open as they did when I got it and the color has changed.

Is there anything I should do or is this normal? Also should I have added water to the pitchers?

This is supposed to be my white princess philodendron. It’s got no variegation except for two leaves. I just noticed where I’ve been keeping it, it’s gotten completely sunburnt. But from the looks of it, it’s still trying to push out a couple new leaves. I’m gonna definitely move it to a less sunny spot. But should I cut off all the burnt leaves or just leave them?

I just bought this little guy on a whim from Lowe’s. It’s been on my plant bucket list so I’m super stoked about it. How do I make sure it thrives?

I switched to a self watering planter awhile ago cuz she required water almost every other day. And would wilt so bad if she was thirsty.

The first pic was taken the other day I thought I had finally killed her on accident bc I had completely forgot to refill the water reservoir and I had never seen her so shriveled up. The second pic was this dramatic ho a couple hours later.

I’ve found these weird things on a couple of my leaves here and there on some of my plants and can’t for the life of me figure out what it is. This is the first time I’ve seen this on one of my succulents. First pic is from today. I checked the succulent for any pests and couldn’t seem to find any.

If anyone can tell me what it is so I can take care of the issue that’d be awesome.

I accidentally beheaded one of my Alocasias while moving it and it made a clean break. If I put the top of the plant in water will it root? I’m not worried about the rhizome cuz I know it’ll eventually grow.

I just picked these little dudes up from Home Depot. Google said the first is a Tricolor Confetti and the second is a Plum Allusion but I wanted to make sure

I picked these guys up from Home Depot yesterday. The tag on the first one said “Calathea” and the other just said “tropical”

This tattoo’s about 8/9 years old. My original plan was to do all four stretching portraits as a leg sleeve, but I don’t really vibe with this piece anymore, or even Disney as a whole. Don’t get me wrong I do love this piece. I just don’t think it’s very “me” anymore.

My first thought was to cover it but not only would it be virtually impossible to do, it’d probably have to be blacked out to cover it. Which seems like a waste.

I still wanna do a leg sleeve but I have no clue what else I’d do with it that would match this piece.

I love plants and I love that “spooky” aesthetic. For example I have a big ram skull on my back with flowers, a Wednesday Addams portrait on my arm, a Beetlejuice tattoo, ouija planchette, spiders and webs, etc.

What should I add around it? Or can it be covered?

I was watering my plants and noticed 5 or 6 of these little dudes chillin on my Spider Plant. I just hosed it off and isolated it. What kind of bug is this?

I just noticed all the stems are woody and more than half the plant is suuuper dried up. I’m kind of a novice at herbs, but I always heard woody stems is a no no. Did I kill it? If not, is there any way to fix this?

So I’ve just been cutting the leaves off when I see them. Some of them look like little brown blotches with craters and others look like little patches with scratch like lines on them (last pic). What is it?

All my plants are outdoors under indirect sunlight. I water them about once a week. All are potted in a chunky mix with potting soil, perlite and orchid bark.

I’ve had this guy growing in water for a couple months. It’s been fine until recently. Two of the leaves are completely bent. They’re healthy otherwise. I have DE dusted on the leaves as a precautionary measure bc it was close to one of my thrip infested plants. What could be the issue here?
