Hey everyone,
I’m looking for a video editor + graphic designer to join me in growing my YouTube channel, which is already monetized.
The channel is focused mainly on cricket content, so having a good understanding of cricket is important. You should be able to understand the context of matches, players, stats, and cricket-related topics rather than just editing based on instructions.
**What I’m looking for:**
Video editing for YouTube videos/shorts
Creating thumbnails and cricket-related graphics
Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visuals
Strong cricket knowledge
Someone who wants to build something long-term rather than do occasional freelance work
**Payment**:
I’m offering 30% of the channel’s earnings as compensation for the work.
The goal isn’t just to maintain the current channel. I want to scale it significantly in the future, increase the content output, and potentially build a larger sports-content operation around it. So I’m looking for someone who is genuinely interested in growing alongside the channel.
If you’re interested, DM me with some examples of your previous editing/graphic work, your experience with cricket content, and a little about yourself.
Serious/long-term inquiries only.
I’m looking to buy a new laptop and would appreciate some advice.
My main use cases will be:
YouTube work, especially for my cricket channel
Video editing (Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve)
Live streaming/streaming sports content
OBS and screen recording
Photoshop/Canva and basic graphics
Lots of Chrome tabs and research
MS Office and regular work
Some light gaming occasionally
Want the laptop to last at least 4–5 years
My budget is around ₹60,000–₹90,000, but I can stretch a little if the upgrade is genuinely worth it.
The problem is that whatever I feel is suitable for my requirements seems to be out of my budget. Laptop prices also seem quite high/expensive right now, so I’m confused about what I should do.
Should I:
Compromise on the specifications?
Wait for prices/sales to improve?
Buy an older-generation model?
Consider a used/refurbished laptop?
Increase my budget and invest in something that will last 4–5 years?
For my usage, should I prioritize:
A powerful CPU with integrated graphics,
An RTX 4050/other dedicated GPU, or
Better display, build quality and battery life?
How important is a dedicated GPU for OBS streaming, video editing and encoding? Would an RTX 4050 make a noticeable difference for my use, or would a good integrated-graphics laptop be enough?
Also, are there any specific Lenovo/HP/Dell/ASUS models you would recommend at current Indian prices?
Basically, I’m trying to figure out what is the smartest way to buy a laptop right now without overspending, while still getting something capable enough for YouTube, editing and streaming.
Would really appreciate recommendations from people who have actually used these laptops for YouTube, editing and streaming.

Hi everyone,
I’m 27, have a B.Tech degree, and currently work as a Social Media Executive. I also run an IT-focused YouTube channel, so I already have some experience with content creation, scripting, and managing social media/content.
However, I’ve always been much more interested in sports, especially cricket, and I want to eventually build a career in sports content/media and sports journalism.
Since my educational background is in engineering rather than journalism or mass communication, I’m confused about the best way to approach this transition.
Should I pursue a diploma/PG course in sports journalism or mass communication, or should I focus on building a strong sports portfolio alongside my current job and try to get into sports media directly?
Given my B.Tech degree, current social media job, and experience running an IT YouTube channel, what would be the most practical path to move into roles such as sports content writer, sports journalist, content producer, or sports social media?
I’d especially appreciate advice from people working in sports media/journalism in India or anyone who has made a similar career switch.

My hairline seems to be receding really quickly, and I’m starting to get worried about it. I’m 27 and have noticed a significant change recently.
For anyone who has experienced this, what did you do about it? Are there any treatments or lifestyle changes that actually helped slow down the recession?
Would really appreciate some advice or experiences.

I’m genuinely stressed because I feel like my mind is constantly pulling me in different directions.
Last year, I spent 3 months preparing for a government exam. After that, I started feeling that maybe it wasn’t for me, so I shifted my attention toward content creation. I started a YouTube channel, and it’s now monetized, so I feel like I’ve actually built something there.
Then I started thinking about CAT. I prepared for around 2 months, but I’ve now stopped that as well.
The problem is that I keep getting stuck between these options.
If I focus on CAT, I feel like my YouTube channel will be left behind and I’ll lose the momentum I’ve built. If I focus on YouTube, I worry that I’m giving up on CAT and missing another opportunity.
Even when I’m doing one thing, my mind keeps telling me to do something else. I’m constantly thinking about all the paths I could take instead of fully committing to one.
I genuinely want to do something big with my life, but this constant switching, overthinking and feeling of “I’m wasting time” is exhausting. I feel pressure in my mind almost all the time.
Has anyone experienced something similar? How do you decide what to commit to, especially when you have multiple interests and every choice feels like you’re giving up another possible future?
I’d really appreciate advice from people who have gone through this and eventually found clarity.
