How to choose between rageblade & stride?

I'm looking for a good rule of thumb to choose between the 2. Does it js come down to how many melees/ranged champs they have or the mobility? Eg: If they have 2 tanks/juggernauts, I run rageblade bc they're immobile. If they are full ranged I run stride to close the distance? Or is rageblade 2nd a must no matter what?

How does olaf counter urgot?

Does olaf R cleanse Urgot R? Or does preventing urgot from flipping you, negate most of his dmg from his shotgun legs? Can't urgot js E away if u run at him with R?

How to decide between shield bash & revitalize

I pretty much always run bone plating or 2nd wind, but I don't know how to decide between shield bash & revitalize. I currently default to revitalize but I'm looking for a good rule of thumb to know when to choose shield bash or revitalize.

Why is deathfire touch so good on Senna?

Hi non main here,

Senna has minimal aoe in her kit so I was wondering why deathfire is so good on her. The champs who tend to run DFT are champs with dots, aoe, or have extremely high uptime spells. Senna doesn't fit that bill so does she have a special interaction with deathfire?

Why is deathfire touch so good on smolder?

Hi non main here,

I assume that deathfire is good bc it procs on his W aoe and his Q aoe once he has 125 stacks. But does deathfire burn proc his Q execute too or does the burn just help get enemies into execute range faster?

Why has Triforce>Sundered been dropped for Triforce>Stride?

Hi non main here,

When I tried the champ upon release at the tail end of s15, his most popular 2 item core was Triforce>Sundered. This made sense to me as his Q forces u to space out the casts in a way which lets you get sheen procs on both casts, and his Q1 crits twice on a sundered proc. I get that Trifroce>Stride gives him a ton of AS and sticking power to quickly and more reliably stack his passive, but did Zaahen drop sundered 2nd bc Triforce>Stride was always better but just took a while for ppl to catch on to it, or were the Sundered changes at the start of s16 bad enough that Stride replaced it?

Why Stride>ghostblade>cyclosword over Stride>PD>Shojin?

I've been running Stride>PD>Shojin for a while now but I see skillcapped recommending the first build. I assume it's bc the crit ratio got nerfed and the AD ratio on E got buffed multiple times that the lethality build has picked up in popularity? So ig instead of spinning more often, u have less spins and they now hit harder (bc lethality). So this lethality build is now more optimal bc of the repeated E AD ratio buffs?

How does urgot counter fiora?

Non main here.

I get that fiora's passive incentivizes her to move around her target, which is good for urgot as this lets him get off more shotgun legs.

But isn't urgot's E extremely telegraphed and easy to parry?

Why shojin 2nd instead of hexplate?

I think of shyv as a pretty ult reliant champ, hexplate's AS lets her get to her Q3 faster and offers a massive AS steroid on top of her steroid ult. Hexplate 2nd (after triforce) just seems intuitive to me. Is shojin 2nd favored bc its provides value both inside and outside of her ult? Outside of her ult you still get value out of shojin passive and inside her ult shojin passive amps Q3's true dmg. Is the basic haste also more valuable than hexplate's ult haste? Is this why shojin 2nd is favored over hexplate?

Who does viego counter and why?

Looking to compile a comprehensive list of who Viego counters and why, my understanding is that he counters most AD bruiser jgs as he wins the 1v1 due to his Q passive and that he is best into champs with low burst and minimal CC as he can more easily reset all over the place vs those comps

Who does graves counter and why?

Looking to compile a comprehensive list of who Graves counters and why. My understanding is that Graves is best into low mobility melees that can he can kite out and nearsight if they get close to him

Who does Yi counter and why?

Looking to compile a comprehensive list of who Yi counters and why, my understanding is that most of the champs he counters have a key spell that can easily be dodged with Q (Briar E, Diana R) or easily absorbed with W. Or they don't have the burst to 1 shot him or enough CC to stunlock him in a teamfight

How does Yi counter shyvana?

I've yet to play this MU but what does Yi do to counter shyvana? Does he like Q her R or W her E? I legit have no clue how he's a counterpick.

How to decide between hubris/ghostblade rush + when to rush collector?

I generally default to hubris into full crit with DH.

I find myself going ghostblade with fleet vs dive/engage comps to lower the chance of getting Cc'd.

I rush collector vs tank comps so that I can build BT last only vs tanky comps, I run fleet when doing this.

This is how I decide between different items & runes, am I missing smth here or is there a gap in my logic anywhere?

Why do so many lethal tempo adcs run legend bloodline instead of alacrity?

I've noticed that many lethal tempo adcs run bloodline over alacrity. Alacrity not only gives upfront power with 3% AS at 0 stacks but the AS helps to stack lethal tempo faster.

Bloodline provides no upfront power and only gives 6.75% life steal and 85 hp. I get that bloodline is more gold efficient at more stacks but is the appeal mainly in the life steal or in the HP? Crit adcs generally can't buy HP, and buying life steal before reaching full crit delays the full crit spike. So is bloodline mainly taken bc buying life steal is kinda awkward until the late game or bc crit adcs have no access to HP in their items?

Why does graves rush lethality item before going full crit?

My understanding is that since his attack speed is so low, buying crit early is worse than a conventional marksmen as graves attacks too slowly to get a good number of crits with a low crit chance as we attack much more slowly than a conventional marksmen. Since lethality applies to each pellet, I think that the increase in dmg per pellet from the lethality stacks with each pellet hit (correct me if I'm wrong)

I always viewed graves as analogous to jhin, jhin also has a low attack speed, so how come he goes straight into crit unlike graves. Both champs have a Q & R that are both primarily meant for dmg so what's the reason for the difference in builds?

Full build (crit) + when to build gluttonous greaves (vamp boots)?

Is the full build js:

Hubris/ghostblade (hubris default)>collector>LDR>shieldbow>IE?

What are we doing for boots? Are the new vamp boots best in slot since bloodthirster isn't built as often? I typically only go resist boots if they're heavy on a single dmg type or I badly need the tenacity. I only rlly go swiftest vs Ashe or dot rylai champs. I find myself defaulting to the vamp boots
