PSA: Jello Shots won’t cycle a stock 19G5 spring.

Have yet to see one of these fly by in here. An end of tour gift from one of the best damn men I know.

Looking forward to updating the rest of you geeks as this PDW style blaster comes together. I’m going to be making a synopsis for each part, reasoning for selection, other potential options for multiple budget ranges, installation, and ultimately the end user experience.

Please feel free to add suggestions for what you’d be interested in hearing about on specific parts, other parts you prefer and why, opinions on certain brands etc.

My end goal is to have a fairly robust data set of shared and individual experiences with a .300BLK, DI, PDW style platform for the entire community to reference. When I began this hobby nearly a decade ago I was left with a lot of one-off questions during the build process, if I can save just one of you the hours of searching forums it took me, we’ll have done something.

Now that we’re averaging 85+ the need for a sweat guard on the belly band is becoming apparent. I use a VNSH elastic belly band for runs and wearing the hoochie daddy shorts out. Already had worn down the handle it grips on this 19 frame but they’re blown out now from the lack of material behind the grip/optic.

Looking for something that could potentially be sewn on, hook and looped, or glued onto the back of the main holster panel. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Painted the upper on my main squeeze awhile back, but can’t say enough good about the PA 5x/top mount RDS combo. For anything 400m and less this thing fucks plain and simple.

Have yet to test the RB5004 in the HBPDW but it ran like a scalded dog with the RB5007 and a law folder with no issues during FRT fire over 400ish rounds.

Does anyone have experience with the RB5004 in a PDW sized tube?

So far have been very impressed with this little guy on a few different Glocks, somehow snuck his way into my fanny pack for the summer.
