How is the Quick Teleport card viewed?

Its something I've personally enjoyed because I kind of like developing on the flank.

Is it actually generally a good card though? Are there some units that are much better to use on the flank when you have this card selected?

How much does it actually change things? Are there some plays you can actually do that you normally can't justify doing without it? Like just full committing on a flank?

I haven't really seen too much discussion around this specific card personally. Is it simply just not actually good to take?

Is it worth putting a unit forward to tank an enemy Vulcan, for your other units?

For example, I imagine a Rhino with Armor + Regen can tank Vulcans for a good bit. If they're up on levels, then they should easily facetank vulcans.

Is it worth doing that though? Or is it more effective to set up a board that just tries to kill the vulcans fast?

What's with the upfront tipping?

I've noticed some places or apps or whatever have you will try to see if you want to add a tip to your total or not BEFORE the Food/Service is even rendered.

I'm sorry, but how in the world is that logical? In what universe would I ever want to give an upfront tip before I even receive whatever it was that I want?

I vividly remember shrugging my shoulders and doing an upfront tip on a door dash order since to asked for me to add a tip while placing my order.

The dude picking up my order was an hour late. Looking at the tracker map thing, it showed they had picked up my food, then drove someplace and sat in the same spot for like 50 minutes at what looked like an apartment complex or neighborhood. It wasn't to deliver another order or anything, but the app will tell you if a driver is doing that.

Dude was just there doing who knows what, then finally drove to my place to drop off cold food. That was with me doing an 18% tip for the order, before the order was even picked up. Since then, I've never done any upfront tipping for anything else. Nor will I again. I can't wrap my head around such a stupid concept.

Why would I genuinely tip on a To-Go order?

Its already being up-charged crazy for being a 'to go' order. Almost 19 bucks BEFORE tipping just for a drink and one of the hashbrown bowls with just ham and jalapenos added to it.

Why would I add tip on top of this when I'm going to simply walk in and be handed a bag over the counter? If the To-Go didn't have upcharge on it, then sure. I could be convinced to tip. But as things are? Come the fuck on lmao

It'd be over 20 bucks if I tip. That's nonsense.

I genuinely don't see the enjoyment behind the spells

Can they be played around? Of course. But it doesn't make them fun regardless. It feels like such a cop out when a game gets warped because X spell randomly showed up at the perfect time to be relevant or annoying to either player.

What's the general gameplan against Assault Marksmen?

Faced someone that opened with an aggressive, oneside push with Marksmen and Tarantullas. Turn 2, they hit Assault Tech and dropped more Marksmen in my deep flanks.

I chose to go into EMP hacker and that worked, along with some badgers to mulch the chaff they kept making around the Marks. This ultimately worked, but it also didn't feel especially convincing to me, which makes me feel like I won because they misplayed somewhere.

Are EMP Hackers a reliable option into Assault Marksmen? Or is there a generally better response?

Are Tarantulas decent at tanking? If so, do I really want to give them range?

Since they're a chaff clear unit, range is naturally a great idea for a unit of that role. Being able to target chaff sooner means chaff will be cleared sooner.

Tarantulas don't seem to purely be a chaff clear unit though, they seem relatively tanky. If they are decently tanky, then is not going range on them okay, so that they get closer to the enemy army and start tanking hits?

Or is Range always good regardless except in very CQC scenarios like headbutts?

Do all units enjoy Attack boosts equally or do some units benefit from extra attack more than others?

I like clicking the Attack boost on towers or taking the attack boost card. I'll even sometimes sprinkle a few crabs for that Mobile Battery attack boost tech.

Is this boost used equally by units though? Or do some units utilize more attack better than others? If so, what units?

Who are the reliable Barrier breakers?

If you were to play Hackers, then its probably safe to assume the opponent will someway, somehow use barriers against you since Hackers are garbage against them.

What units are decent at breaking into barriers to help Hackers get through?

Scorching Charge Badgers on the line

What's the typical way of dealing with or even punishing this? It seems like its pops up regularly enough in games.

Is it even worth trying to address directly?

Why don't we have Sword of the occult in Modern League?

You know. After playing Classic League, I have to say. Sword of the Occult is really, really fun.

Why do we not have this? Yet Mejais is allowed to exist? Someone like Eve or LeBlanc running around with Mejais is finebut no AD champ can be allowed to run around with Sword of the Occult?

Sledgehammers seem to not be that uncommon. What's the 'standard' way of addressing them?

Feels like a lot of the smaller/lower cost units can get stuck on Sledgehammer. Primarily chaff clear like Arcs, Fire Badgers, and Tarantulas.

If the opponent start with a Sledge pack or are investing in sledges to try and brick your chaff clear early, what's the usual gameplan for addressing it early on?

Is there a rule of thumb when it comes to determining how many of X units you need for your board?

You know, DPS units. Chaff, Chaff clear.

Is there some sort of metric or 'formula' to follow? It seems easy to either over commit on any one role but also easy to have not enough of any given role as well.

Air spec going round 1 phantom and then building more phantoms. What's the solution?

Basically title. I heard Marks aren't ideal against phantoms. What do I go instead then? Phoenixes?

I believe Raidens are supposedly decent into them too, but it feels like its hard to get into raiden that early. Or is going into Raiden anyway fine, while sacking rounds to set up support for raidens?

Field Entrenchment on Flanking Sabers? Meme dream or something that can work with the right support?

Been thinking about trying to use flanks for more than just mere distraction Crawlers, as good as distraction crawlers can be.

I've been curious about the idea of employing Sabers on the flank and using Field Entrenchment to make them a really annoying unit that soaks up a lot of time/aggro. Especially paired with Field Maintenance as Field Entrenchment comes with 50% HP increase, which should make Field Maintenance even better.

Is this kind of idea valid? What kind of units would pair with an entrenching flanking saber?

Or would a flanking saber be far too easy to counter and is not worth the actual investment as a result?

What's the gameplan in mind when the opponent busts out a Turn 4 mountain in Standard vs Standard?

I don't know everything there is to know about the game. Maybe my opponent doesn't either, he just randomly busted out a Mountain turn 4 and had it in the center.

I got around to making melters with range (One of which got to have the scope item, which felt very lucky). He made fire hounds, I answered with AM Mustangs. I also built several packs of wasps because he had no real anti air aside from 3 or 4 marks. He also developed exploding badgers on the line to deal with my fangs (Though it seems like that didn't do anything, so I didn't specifically do anything against them).

I ultimately won through supporting 2 leveled melters and a swarm of leveled'd & tech'd Wasps. For whatever reason, he never made mustangs to fight my wasps. I imagine things would be different had he gone with mustangs to go along with his 4 mountains.

So even though I won, I recognize its because my opponent misplayed. I also was just playing without a concrete plan in mind myself. I just know that allegedly Melters kill mountains and that in this specific game, wasps also were doing really really well.

So what's the typical gameplan when you see an opponent make a Mountain on turn 4? What kind of board should I be making to deal with it?
