I built an engine that reads a birth chart in Western and Vedic at once and writes one short portrait from both. Now I want to know if the portraits are actually specific to the person, or just nice words that fit anyone. So: blind test, built to let it fail.

Most charts have at least one pair of placements that pull in opposite directions, an assertive Mars against a withdrawn Moon, a restless Sagittarius streak against a cautious Saturn.

How do you actually interpret a chart whose pieces disagree?

Do you weight one over the other, blend them, or read the tension itself as the signature?

I have been building readings that put your Western chart and your Vedic chart side by side and find the synthesis between them. Your sign in the two systems is usually different, and the gap between them is the interesting part, especially if you have never quite felt like your sign.

People who try it tend to tell me it nails them. The problem is that "it nails me" is exactly what people say about readings written for someone else too. A warm, well-written reading feels true to almost anyone. So I do not want to trust the nice feedback. I want to test it properly.

Here is the test. If you are in, I will write a short reading from your chart, plus one or two written from other people's charts. If your Mars is in Cancer in your tropical (Western) chart, it's very likely Gemini in the sidereal zodiac, the two run about one sign apart. I find that split fascinating: a drive the tropical chart calls one thing and the sidereal chart calls another.

Turns out a lot of Gemini Venus people are actually Taurus Venus in the sidereal (Vedic) system.

The two zodiacs disagree about how you love, and that gap is usually where the "my Venus sign never fully fit" feeling lives. Gemini loves through the mind and needs newness and conversation. Taurus loves slow and deep and doesn't let go. Two signs that want opposite things, both true at once.

That specific split is what I'm currently writing about.
