Small brag, big time idk what it’s worth

My mom passed these two French .995 silver flatware sets, and although I know they are worth more than scrap to the right buyer, I’m not sure what they would be worth on the secondary market. What do y’all think?

Help me figure this out! Sometimes talking through it helps me (aside from love ones)

For context, I used to be SO good with money. Life, things, marriage, kids, etc led to just not paying attention.

I can list the debts out according to Dave/others, I know the “drill”… but my ADHD is killing me.

I have about 20K i can put towards debt/in savings. I just need to know where I should allocate it first, with the goal of eliminating debt and rebuilding credit at the same time.

Should I start with smallest? Quick wins? Call and negotiate pay downs with one payment?

That amount isn’t going to pay off the car (and it’s reasonable at 5.99) and wouldn’t put a dent in the house at all.

I don’t know what to do anymore

Not true gambling in the sense of sports betting or casino betting etc., but gambling all the same.

I’ve lost so much money over the last year and a half betting on stocks and on short options etc. it’s almost cost me my marriage (and understandably so). Somewhere in the neighborhood of $75K.

Can barely pay bills including mortgage, etc. always felt like I would enter a winning position, take out the gains, and then go again etc. anyway, just here to say there are others out there, albeit in diff worlds.

Trying to work my way through this mess. Luckily no long term debt through CC or loans, just day to day. I’ll get through it, I think. But I now know I am simply addicted to the “market” and trying to win.

My plan is to sell what I don’t need, save. Pay down debt and just build a larger cash pile.

Is one piece still popular as it was

Long story short I bought a huge collection of all kinds of TCG/sports and there are a ton of SR etc. Is the market what it once was for the game? I’m not talking extravagant prices, just are they still moving and collecting as much as people used to?

Elantra N TCR allocations

Anyone have a bead on any of these? Or how to tell if one listed on a dealer website is indeed a TCR? They are mostly all on transit with stock shit photos.

I assume if they are asking $41500 it’s an TCR.

AIO? Spouse doesn’t take care of anything that’s bought for her

This isn’t recent. It’s anything. Buy her expensive earrings for a holiday, misplaced or don’t wear. MacBook and MacBook sleeve because she had to have one… thrown in the nightstand drawer without sleeve. Almost anything, (not just jewelry)is not taken care of and never knows where it is, whether expensive or not.

AIO that I just decided to not buy that stuff anymore, for holidays, birthdays etc? I was raised to take care of things, especially important things loved ones give you. I don’t expect a younger child to take care of every single thing, but I expect a grown woman (and more importantly my spouse) to do so. Especially when she knows our income and how much those things cost.

So… AIO for not spending that kind of money anymore?

I say her daughter first and foremost for context that she is not my biological child. She may as well be though and I have raised her as such (since a little over one- she’s 8 now).

My wife’s ex outright just does not pay child support. She will bug him repeatedly until he sends her $100 or $150 (!not kidding on amount, and this is like once a month).

She just deals with it and it really pisses me off- I have a biological child that I pay court ordered support for- no problem.

Herein lies the issue- she won’t go to the courts or fill out paperwork thru the state, etc, to get an enforcement order. She’s just lazy with it, and I don’t know why, but it irritates the piss out of me.

I keep pointing out to her- that all the things she (or we) want our daughter to do or experience would be greatly impacted by her father, being well, a father.

It’s not that he doesn’t have a job, he’s an assistant store manager at a prominent chain.

Am I overreacting? Or am i valid in my thoughts?
