What are the New Gods?

I’ve heard interpretations of the New Gods being more archetypes of concepts. A while it was there in a meta textual sense in the original Kirby run it seems to have become more literal. Sometimes they seem more like the Aesir.

An L5R\Naruto crossover

I’m willing to bet at least of few people here have read or watched Naruto. And some of you might know about the settings rather lack luster samurai. Something I’ve been wondering for a bit was could Rokugan Samurai clans be adapted into Naruto?

Were the original space marines AKA the beakies more like just guys in suits?

I’ve been looking at the older lore and on the profile of the infamous half eldar himself it mentions him serving in the astra telepathica and having whole ass career before being a Dark Angel.

Day to day amounts of Magic in the empire

I’m working on some original fiction that’s in part inspired by WHF but I’m a bit lost as to the magical baseline of the Empire. How common are magical baubles? How common are miracle users amongst sigmarites and priests of other gods? Do villages past a certain size have wizards on the payroll roll?

Cultural barriers in the Discworld Series

I’m an American reader and I’m wondering if any other non British readers have ever hit any parts of the books that’s hard for them to parse because they’re not apart of or not too familiar with British culture.

Roar ball in Beastarsverse

A couple months back I saw GOAT in theaters. For anyone who hasn’t seen it, basically a small 20 something goat ends up playing in the Roarball League. Roarball being basically basketball with a little rugby and dangerous environmental hazards on the court. It’s a sport that also favors larger animals (Horses, big cats, pachyderms etc.) and is considered dangerous. But do yall think that beast society be would up for it?

No Team Venture

I know this probably wouldn’t happen but, how would the boys life go if Doc decided to just drop the whole super science thing and be normal. Imagine for a second that the OSI has ways of getting people out of the game. Assets are sold off dangerous weapons and other super science paraphernalia are locked away in some OSI mega vault. Rusty takes on a new identity and he and the infant boys move far away. He gets a regular job and folks think he’s a recently widowed single dad. Could the monarch eventually find him? Will the Venture legacy continue in some strange new way?

How do base a country or people after an IRL group or place without it being stereotypical?

I am and will be working on settings influenced by IRL cultures but feels like a balancing act alluding what inspired it while making it its own. Does anyone have any advice?

Handling safety as an Electrician

I’m currently in school to become an electrician. I finished my CORE class earlier this year and this august I’m starting my first electrician class. Anyway people at my plant job know what I’m planning on doing. So when ever my one of my immediate supervisors is annoyed with me he’ll say stuff like “ain’t no oops I forgot” or telling me stories about a guy blowing his thumb off when he touched the wrong thing.

It’s not I don’t know I’m gonna be dealing dangerous equipment. But I think I gotta good safely oriented mindset already. But to all the experienced electricians out there how easy it just forget ONE thing or put you hand in the wrong place in the wrong time and end up riding the lightening?

I was thinking about the Stephen Kings The Dark Tower and the hybrid knightly/cowboy thing the gunslingers got going for them. And it got me thinking about putting cowboys in Naggroth. Specifically the west of Naggroth from where Texas would be to were the Southern California coast would be.

Im probably stepping on the toes of bunch of dark elf lore but I don’t care. Imagine a human culture that grew out of Naggroth entirely independent of the old world and managed to eke out a living while resisting dark elf aggression. Steely eyed sharpshooters amazing at irregular warfare.
