Free services, apps or add ons that tell you when websites go down and when they come back up?

Anyone know any?

For like if a pirate site is having server problems so the problem is on there end, something that pings users once it's working again so we don't have to keep going back refreshing and getting our hearts broken?

Looking for good scam of the Roger Mellie story in which Roger is ousted from a Jim'll fix it style show for Jimmy Saville for not bring family friendly enough, ends with a cut to present with Roger and Tom in the pub reading about yewtree in the paper and ends on the line "Well Tom they backed the wrong fucking horse there didn't they?" "Certainly did Roger."

What is the term for a gender goal role model?

I know I've heard this term used before but can't call it to mind, it's like the trans equivalent of "style icon" meaning this persons look informs things about the way you present yourself post transition.

Example

FTM person: I'm a big Keanu Reeves fan, he's my personal _________ for my transition

MTF: My personal __________ is Cameron Diaz, specifically as she appeared in the movie the 1994 Jim Carrey movie, the Mask.

And no it was not just "transition goal" but it was close to that

Trying to get an academic answer to this question and unsure which specific academic discipline to go for but here's the question: Is a major sports win for a country undergoing a surge of far right nationalism good or bad?

Does a major sports win for a country undergoing a surge of far right nationalism serve to embolden it and make it more dangerous or mollify and give it's base less to complain about and thus remove some of their motive to, just for example, tear down pride flags and burn down the homes of immigrants?

Yes this is an England/football question, because the thing is every major football tournament I root for england to lose because I hate when you can't go anywhere without hearing about football and england fans are particularly obnoxious. However we're also experiencing a wave of nationalist xenophobia right now and that made me think on how such waves are usually down to dip in the economy and national mood. So my question is essentially, would england winning the world cup make these people more or less likely to do mass violence?

Polybuff model version 2

Hello again, first of all thanks for the likes on my first post i really appreciate it and hope you stay hyped for future posts.

Here are all the changes i made since my last post: fixed up the proportions throughout the body, made the calves bigger, arm muscles more defined, slimmed down the hands and made knuckles more prominent, changed the foot shape, remade the face, added eyes and teeth. I also touched up the rig so that it can make facial expressions, as well as open and close the mouth.

I also started watching the new Baki Dou anime and thought it would be fun to try some Miyamoto Musashi poses.

Next thing to do is make proper textures for this model and begin work on Baki, as well as making the underground arena where all future characters will be displayed

Dwarf from Merrivus's comics

I love all of u/Merrivius 's comics and characters but Dwarf is just the pinnacle dwarf to me. When you ask what a fantasy dwarf should be like I will point you to Dwarf. I love that he is just full nude but covered by the massive beard and viking helmet.

EDIT: I misspelled Merrivius in the post title, oops.

Always wondered, does Japan have anti-monarchists like we do in the UK?

So the UK and Japan have a lot of similarities,we're both island nations, we both used to have empires we both have national reputations for being polite if also uptight and also we both have royal families. And I've always wondered does the Japanese attitude to your monarchy resemble ours? as in most people are indifferent, some are diehard devotees that think the country would collapse without them and some want them gone for political philosophical or religous reasons.
