Anyone start getting chronic nausea from endo?

Ever since giving birth, I’ve been nauseous and my periods have gotten significantly worse. I feel like I have the flu every time it’s my period but my nausea is pretty much daily now.

With hormones/period, I only feel well like ONE week a month? Anyone else?

One week before my period I feel sick. During my actual period it sucks. Then after my period ends and I start my fertile week/ovulation week, I get cramps/backaches and still don’t feel great. So basically there’s only 1 week a month I feel ok. Sigh.

With hormones/period, maintaining the home and a family, I only feel well like ONE week a month? Anyone else?

I am exhausted in general from motherhood and managing the house while my husband is gone at work 12-14 hours a day. Add in just barely getting time to keep myself healthy. But most of all, with my period, I basically only feel great ONE week a month?! Can anyone else relate? I start feeling crappy a week before my period. Then the week of my period it’s not fun. Then during my fertile/ovulation week, I get things like cramps/backache which apparently 40% of women endure. I just feel like I never feel great with this combination of everything. Mostly due to my period/hormones. Sigh. Women go through so much.

Social media is filled with nothing but crime/horrible or sad stories

I know this is old news but I’m now starting to see TOO much. And the fact that I’m feeling the effects now says a lot. I can’t go onto any social media platform without terrible news and sad, unfortunate stories constantly going thru the feed. Even on TikTok -which used to be very lighthearted- is filled with bad news. I feel like I’m going to bed stressed because of what I’m constantly consuming on my phone. Sometimes I just want something entertaining and happy. God.

I just experienced what 2 under 2 plus a newborn was like. HELL to the NO

I have a 17 month old. My SIL just gave birth yesterday to a baby girl. She also has a son who will be 2 soon. Oh my god the house was fucking chaos. I will never have 2 under 2 or anything similar 😂 my toddler and her toddler would not stop crying and nothing helped. Their dog was going wild. The newborn was trying to eat. My SIL was trying to pump to stimulate her milk. I had to leave. lol god bless everyone with multiples close in age plus a newborn.

Chronic nausea?

Backstory: I have emetophobia and my pregnancy was debilitating due to the horrible nausea. This sounds dramatic but it truly traumatized me lol. Well, I gave birth and for some reason the nausea never left. Nausea and random gagging throughout the day. My son is now a little over 1 year old. At first I chalked it up to hormones but now I’m so far out that I dont think it is anymore. I never had this issue until I got pregnant and anxious! My primary care doctor wants to do a CT scan of my GI tract but I haven’t gotten around to doing it yet. My iron and vitamin D levels are always VERY low -which yes that could cause nausea as well I guess. I’m not great at staying on top of my vitamins but I should make more of an effort. But anyways, my anxiety definitely plays a role because I’m constantly worried if I’m sick/going to get sick/going to eat something that will make me sick/how I’m going to take care of a toddler being sick. These thoughts are on my mind an unhealthy amount and perhaps that is what’s causing my chronic nausea? It’s sort of a vicious cycle. But sometimes I’m not anxious or having those thoughts at all and then boom the nausea hits and I want to go home and lay down. I start to spiral too -like an internal panic attack anytime I feel nausea. I do think our body subconsciously carries those thoughts though so maybe even if I don’t feel anxious, I am anxious. Anyways, just searching to see if anyone can relate? It’s to the point where I’m eating peppermints several times a day and I have a back up prescription of Zofran for the night time because sometimes the nausea is distracting and I can’t sleep because I’m anxious about it. The nausea hits especially at night. My bedstand always has peppermints, Zofran, and a barf bag. Sigh. I’m exhausted.

I used to love sex and now I can’t be bothered with it 😭 do I have a hormone issue or is this due from extreme exhaustion

29 year old FTM to a toddler. I am a SAHM with little to no village. My husband works 12-14 hour days. I have a difficult toddler. I am beyond exhausted and burnt out. Add in my son still waking 2-4x a night. Anyways, my husband wants sex a normal amount and I literally have zero interest and I am just too tired to even bother. Is this a hormone issue or is this normal for being a burnt out SAHM? I used to want it 2-3x a day before pregnancy. We haven’t had sex in like 20 days now -but that’s also because the last two times we had sex it resulted in issues (1st time I needed to take plan B and second time I got a bad UTI. The meds made me so sick and then after I finished the meds my period was due and I always feel like shit 1 week before my period then during the week of my period and now here we are lol). It also doesn’t help that our son goes to bed at 9:45/10:00 pm and by that time I am READY to be unbothered and go to sleep

Chicago Martin Garrix show -when do you think he will get on stage?

we are first time parents and we have to do a lot of coordinating today for a babysitter. My husband has been to several of these concerts and thinks he won’t get on stage until 9:50 pm. He also did some googling and it said this as well? What time do you guys think he will actually get on?

Huntington Bank Pavillion/Northerly Island: parking situation for VIP tickets?

I’ve never been here for a concert. I have Martin garrix VIP tickets for tonight and I purchased parking in the VIP lot. I’m just wondering if that ticket for sure guarantees me a spot? I have to do some coordinating with my babysitter for the night and if I come a bit later to the concert while the openers are done, will I still get a spot in that designated VIP lot because I have a ticket for it? I was reading online that apparently some people just drive to those lots and pay to get in versus needing a ticket? Thanks in advance

Does anyone else change their toddler standing up? Apparently it’s weird?

So my son is 16.5 months old. He’s also huge for his age. He started hating diaper changes months ago. To the point where if I want to change him in a laying position, I have to pin him down on his belly and use ALL my strength to keep him in that position -no exaggeration. I am sweating, out of breath, and he is scream crying bloody murder. He’s so strong and big that it usually gets messy and he STILL wiggles away or turns around and poop is everywhere. Anyways, I have now resorted to changing his diapers -even poop diapers- with him standing. I put something distracting on tv and he stands up holding his playpen or something like a chair/ottoman. I place pee pads underneath and I wipe him while he stands. My parents said they have never seen something like it. Today I told my sister in law about how I change his diaper and she was in shock. She has an almost 2 year old btw lol. She was like “that sounds incredibly complicated” and couldn’t wrap her head around it. So am I the only one doing this?! It’s honestly so much easier and he isn’t scream crying bloody murder. Obviously it’s not a technique I can use out in public -in those situations I’d have to pin him down.

Alexandra Leclerc -some genuine questions

Firstly, if they wanted the privacy, why be so open in St Tropez? It’s not a lowkey place to go haha secondly, if you’re trying to hide a pregnancy bump, wouldn’t it be better to wear a one piece swimsuit? I feel like the 2 piece she choose definitely accentuates the change in her boobs and stomach. Lastly, yes maybe she gets bloated after a big meal or maybe she’s on her period or maybe she’s pregnant or maybe she’s trying to freeze her eggs because they’re not ready for a baby yet! All of those things can make you appear pregnant!

Anyone get a delayed rash after taking Macrobid?

I’ve never had skin issues in my life. I had my second UTI ever and took Macrobid again. About 1 weeks after I took my last dose, I began developing a bumpy rash on both arms. It occasionally itches. I took an antihistamine and it didn’t really do much. I went to the dermatologist and they said it’s hard to pinpoint what is it and prescribed me a topical steroid cream to help with the itching. I personally didn’t feel that was needed so I never used it. Anyways I’ll attach various photos here from random days (the last photo looked extra bad due to the lighting and because I was itching it a lot that morning). I just don’t know what else it could be besides a delayed reaction to the meds? I’ve now had the rash for almost 2 weeks. It’s not worsening -just staying the same. No other changes at all in regards to products, diet, supplements, etc.

It never got easier. Everyone on these forums lied lol and sometimes I just want to cry

Caption speaks for itself. I remember drowning in the newborn trenches and reading people say “it gets easier at 6 months!” then 8, 10, 12, 15 months etc. My son is now 16 months and honestly it never got easier. This is probably situational based on your baby’s demeanor but man…my son has been ridiculously fussy and high needs since day 1. And still a bad sleeper. I am beyond exhausted. Today I just feel like crying but I’m going to hold it together. Thank you for listening to my rant lol and since I’m already ranting, I will say that other parents who don’t have a more difficult baby/toddler have NO idea what it entails. I do find myself getting jealous of those people with easy chill babies. My nephew is one of them. I have some friends with easy babies too. Sigh.

Hypochlorous acid spray?? Does it really work

I keep seeing this being hyped up amongst the mom community to prevent illnesses/germs. Debating if I should get it (I’m a germaphobe lol). But if it’s a gimmick -no point in adding something extra to the diaper bag

If you have a 16 month old or a toddler around this age, how many naps are they taking and for how long each day?

My son is 16 months and he takes one long nap in the middle of the day from 12 to 3/3:30 pm. Just curious what other people are doing with their toddlers

My 16 month old started HATING his stroller and car seat -time to buy a wagon stroller?

He used to love going in the stroller -I’m also big on long walks, multiple times a day- and now I’m sad because it’s been so incredibly difficult to get him in. Especially because he’s super strong and heavy (30+ lbs). My body/back is already wrecked from caring for him 24/7 while my husband is gone at work. I’m debating investing in a wagon stroller? I think he’d love not being strapped into something and constricted. Anyone think this may solve the issue? I also want to be able to stay at our adventures for longer but he hates being strapped into the stroller and he’s too heavy to carry for more than a few minutes. Is the wagon silly looking though? It seems massive to be pushing down the street 😂 also does it ergonomically work well? Scared my wrists will hurt pushing it.
