By similar style, I think what makes all three similar to me is that rather than starting out with the death, it follows the buildup to said murder and the way it affected the people around them,

I'd prefer recommendations from platforms like HBO or Hulu, but anything works tbh.

I don't know if the stupid discussion cat thread is a thing or not anymore given I can't find it pinned, so I'm posting this here.

I'm looking for series that are like these three mentioned above. I prefer for them to be on Hulu or HBO for convenience in watching.

Hello? Hello hello?

Uh, I wanted to record a message for you, to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you, I’m finishing up my last week now as a matter of fact. Gonna be retiring soon.

So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I’m here to tell you there’s nothing to worry about, Uh, you’ll do fine. So, let’s just focus on getting you through your first week, okay?

Uh, let’s see, first there’s an introductory greeting from the company, that I’m supposed to read. Uh, it’s kind of a legal thing, you know.

Funtime Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced.” Blah blah blah.

Now that might sound bad, I know. But, there’s really nothing to worry about.

Uh, the animatronic characters here, do get a bit quirky at night, but do I blame them? No. If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for nine years and I never got a bath? I’d probably be a bit irritable at night too. So, remember, these characters hold a special place in the hearts of children and we need to show them a little respect, right? Okay.

So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they’re left in some kind of free roaming mode at night, uh, something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long? Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too, but then there was The Bite of ’87. Yeah. But uhhh, don't worry about that. Kid was mostly fine afterwards, just missing a bit of his frontal lobe.

Uh, now concerning your safety. The only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won’t recognize you as a person. They’ll pr-They’ll most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now, since that’s against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, they’ll probably try to…forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn’t be so bad, if the suits themselves weren’t filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices. Especially around the facial area. So you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort, and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask. Heh. Yeah, they don’t tell you these things when you sign up.

But hey, first day should be a breeze. I’ll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night.

Uh, well, if you’re hearing this and you made it to day two, uh, congrats! I-I won’t talk quite as long this time, since Freddy and his friends tend to become more active as the week progresses. Uh, it might be a good idea to peek at those cameras while I talk, just to make sure everyone’s in their proper place. You know. Uh, interestingly enough, Freddy himself doesn’t come off stage very often. I heard he becomes a lot more active in the dark though, so, hey, I guess that’s one more reason not to run out of power, right?

I-I also want to emphasize the importance of using your door lights. Uh, there are blind spots in your camera views, and those blind spots happen to be right outside your doors. So if you can’t find something – or someone – on your cameras, be sure to check the door lights. Uh, you might only have a few seconds to react. Uh, not that you would be in any danger, of course. I’m not implying that.

Also, check on the curtain in Pirate Cove from time to time. Captain Foxy always loved being the center of attention, so he becomes more active if the cameras remain off for long periods of time. I guess he doesn’t like being watched. I don’t know.

Uhh one last thing, I was checking the cameras last night and I noticed this.....weird character on the screen. It sort of looked like Freddy but yellow and it disappeared when I looked again. I feel like I've seen it before, but I can't remember where. Didn't get a good enough look to know. Maybe I'm hallucinating, but I'd keep an eye out just in case.

Hey you’re doing great! Most people don’t last this long! I mean, you know, they usually move on to other things by now. I’m not implying that they died. Th-th-that’s not what I meant.

I think I saw the "Golden Freddy" as I've been calling it again. Might have actually seen it twice. I think I definitely might recognize it, but there's only really one character it could be and there's NO way it's.....that character.

I've been uhhhh uh noticing Freddy moving more often. It's weird because he doesn’t really move like the others. He's surprisingly quiet for an animatronic that large, so you might have to really listen to find him. Uh, he almost got into my office earlier, but thankfully I caught him on the camera in time. Weirdly enough, he never came to the door, just....stared at me from the camera for a while.

...My kids always liked Freddy. I wish I could say I still do too.

Hey! Hey, wow, day four. I knew you could do it.

.....I really hate this place, y'know? Goddammit, I give this place everything and they just...spit on me. I've been working here for 9 years, slaving away for these people so I can earn enough just to get my family through the week safely and what has it gotten me?

I barely even have a family anymore thanks to these fucking people. My wife barely wants to talk to me and my kids....

[Sounds of glasses being placed on desk, quiet audible crying can be heard]

I just want her to have a normal childhood. I just want to go back to being a normal person.

I just want to forget it all.

But some chucklefuck thinks it's a good idea to break into the building and go around wearing....THAT suit in here so they can fuck with me. Act like this whole thing was some big joke.

Company won't even believe me. I keep telling them and they keep telling me that it can't be THAT suit because it was burned a long time ago. I'm not fucking crazy, it is THAT suit. I know what it looks like better than anyone else, so don't goddamn tell me that's not it.

Whatever, it's one more day. You can do one more day. And then you never have to see this fucking place again.

So back around the late 1990s to the 2000s, I saw this one cartoon about an evil eraser who went around hypnotizing people into doing his bidding. From what I remember, he wore a shirt with two red stripes and a big purple hat.

The show ended with the main characters turning his powers against him so he was the one hypnotized.

Can anyone help me find it?

So I've been thinking since the last episode dropped. The articles reviewing the season early mention Clark getting to be a hero as himself, not just as Superman. And the next episode is called the Death of Superman, but he obviously can't die mid season. So that got me thinking......

The Late Mr Kent is an episode of Superman The Animated Series that details Superman's secret identity Clark Kent being presumed dead by the public while investigating a crime coverup, forcing Superman to have to live as just Superman until the case is solved. The episode is highly praised by many fans as one of the best Superman stories ever.

So what I'm saying is, what if the writers, who take inspiration from the most well known Superman storylines, have it so that Clark gets defeated by Hank in battle and Superman is presumed dead by the public, forcing him to have to stay as Clark until he can come with a reasonable way Superman can come back to life? What if the storyline is like The Late Mr Kent, but instead of Clark Kent "dying", it's Superman?

Anyways that's my prediction. Let me know what you guys think in the comments.

Just wanted to get these down for now

- Alternate future we see is one where Hank went full dictator and killed Clark

- Jon is a test tube baby made by Lex using Lois and Clark's DNA as a secret weapon against Hank (Basically a combination of the two Superboys)

- Ending is bittersweet because by stopping Hank from taking over in the future, Jonathan is essentially erased from existence (like what we see in the intro)

- We see a cameo from Wayne Enterprises either as a background detail or as a cameo near the end when Lexcorp is busted

- Season ends on a cliffhanger featuring Darkseid

Inspired by my dream last night where Wish Nikki and Bear had a kid and Wish Nikki forced Bear to drown him.

Bear is a pretty obvious answer given how well he took care of Sandy in the movie, but how would Wish Nikki feel? Would the child be seen as competition for Bear's affection? Would Wish Nikki be controlling of both Bear and her child? What about the real Nikki still trapped in her brain?

So I remember reading this one book when I was around elementary or middle school aged (so the 2010s) about the protagonist getting shoved in a locker by a bully. While in there, he hears the voice of this other boy. This kid reveals that he was also shoved into a locker like the protagonist, but died and became a ghost after he couldn't reach his inhaler. I think he tried to kill the main character to make him join him as a ghost. From what I remember, the main kid escaped at the end.

I also figured it could be a part of an anthology book containing 3-5 stories like Scary Stories to Tell in The Dark, but I don't remember the other stories if that's the case.
