Which era of Nephrite do you think shines the most?

Which era of Nephrite do you think shines the most?

Doing a new series on here where I shine a light on a Sailor Moon character, similar to The Unlucky Tug’s Sodor Finest series, about which era of Sailor Moon characters shine the most. Tell me down below which era of Nephrite from the Sailor Moon series shines the most.

Imo it’ll have to be the 90s anime. I like how he‘s the first of Sailor Moon’s foes who actually redeems himself and acts protective to Naru. I like the redemption, but episode 24 remains a least favorite for me and I don’t think his relationship with Naru would’ve worked out since Naru at the start of the anime is 14 and Nephrite is 19 years old. I don’t ship it at all. His and Zoisite’s hatred of each other is pretty funny though in the original manga they don’t have rivalry with one another.

Anyways, share your thoughts and opinions down below. It’s okay if you don’t agree, it’s all just opinions after all.

I like how in the remastered version of The Crappy Cliff Nickel just straight up betrays Baseball and throws him off the cliff along with the other contestants even though they’re friends

so random ngl

I like how Bulstrode looks at the camera before Percy pushes the trucks inside him in Special Attraction like he knows he’s screwed 😂😂

Special Attraction as a whole is okay, the crash was good, but I like how when Percy is about to push the trucks onto Bulstrode, Bulstrode looks at the camera like he’s internally saying, “Oh no, I’m so f*****!” It‘s just so silly that it’s memorable.

How would you feel if you were to spend one day with season 6-8 Patrick Star?

For me personally, if I had to spend ONE day with seasons 6-8 Patrick Star I would definitely dip since he’s so dumb and unlikable in seasons 6 to 8. 😒

Can I just go ahead and say that the original English dub adding dialogue to certain scenes that are meant to be tense sort of ruins the impact of the scene?

I’m probably going to anger some people who like the DiC and Cloverway dubs but sometimes they have the characters talk in scenes that were originally silent for dramatic impact in the Japanese sub and personally I think it spoils and ruins the impact and overall tone of the scene.

As you can see, in the original Japanese sub and ViZ dub when Artemis comes into Minako’s room, the scene has no dialogue for a few moments. However, the Cloverway dub adds dialouge and imo it ruins the scene for me.

From what I’ve heard, the Cloverway dub of Sailor Moon was rushed by the producers and Cartoon Network which obviously meant the voice actors did their lines in one single take and weren’t given the time to re-record their dialogue by the producers.

Got a Winnie the Pooh temporary arm tattoo last night

Ngl, I wanted a Starfire tattoo but the tattoo store didn’t have a Starfire tattoo so I settled for a Pooh tattoo.

Is it bad for me to say I prefer how the 90s anime changed how Usagi meets Luna?

In the original manga, when Usagi is running to school she trips on Luna and kisses her and Luna angrily scratches her in the face. The 90s anime adaptation changes this to UsagI finding Luna being harassed by some boys, though this scene was adapted in Sailor Moon Crystal in the first episode. I honestly don’t mind this change to the original at all because it’s one of the more tamer changes they’ve made to the original manga that I can agree upon.

I like how some scenes in the model series are done in two separate takes

I honestly like how some of the scenes in the model series were filmed in two separate takes rather than one single take.

I got in trouble once for watching this scene

Back in the summer of 2022, when my dad and I went to Myrtle Beach, I was watching the first episode of Sailor Moon on my phone on the beach when my dad let me leave to go to the pool in the hotel we were saying at. I had unfortunately paused the episode during the scene where Morga chokes Naru and threatens to kill her and her mother once she gets human energy and while I was at the pool my dad got my phone to see what I was watching and he watched the exact scene from the Sailor Moon episode I was watching and he wasn’t happy about it.

I never liked this face on James

I don’t know about anyone else, but I don’t like this face that they use in the episodes The Trouble with Mud and Thomas and the Rumors since it makes him look, well, pretty weird. I’m honestly glad this face stopped being used since it looks off on James and makes him look old.

Clips from Sailor Moon dubbed with voice clips from other anime/media

This was fun to edit since a good majority of the cast of the ViZ dub also voice act in other TV shows and media.

I personally think that Michael Brandon gets too much flak and is overhated by fans, especially The Unlucky Tug. Brandon clearly enjoyed his time on the series unlike Michael Angelis who sounds like he wants his paycheck

I personally believe that US narrator Michael Brandon is pretty overhated by fans. Even though some of his voices were questionable at times, he clearly enjoyed his time on the series. I think people, like The Unlucky Tug, kind of give Brandon a bit too much hate in my opinion. I grew up with the Track Stars and Steam Team Collection DVDs as well as catching some of the later model episodes and early CGI episodes on TV on PBS Sprout and half of that had Michael Brandon as the narrator. So yeah, all in all, Michael Brandon isn’t all bad. Share your thoughts and opinions down below, I’d like to see what you think.

Are the 28 count chocolate chip cookies at Walmart meant to be a replacement for their discontinued 52 count cookies?

I remember when Walmart used to have chocolate chip cookies packed in a box with 52 cookies? I remember I used to see them at Walmart whenever I went. However, Walmart seems to have discontinued these and replaced them with 28 count cookies starting in late 2023.

I’m going to go ahead and say that the UK dub of the scene from Splish Spalsh Splosh where Sir Topham Hatt scolds Thomas is better than the US dub imo

I’ve always felt that in the US dub of this scene Sir Topham Hatt doesn’t sound like he‘s angry when scolding Thomas for splashing him and Alicia Botti. I’ve seen the UK dub and in all honesty, he actually sounds mad when scolding Thomas. Even though this episode is so bad it’s stupid in my opinion, I did watch it as a kid on DVD along with other season 13 episodes.

I don’t know why, but the ending scene from The SuperSonic Car where Speed stands on top of the rocket during the sunset is probably one of my favorite scenes from the original anime series

It feels so cool, I don’t know why

I like how the Angry Birds and Rocky and Bullwinkle sketches from season 6 use paper cutout animation rather the standard animation with action figures and toys

The animation style reminds me of South Park lol

I like both Fanta flavors equally, but it was such a hard decision to choose which one to buy. But eventually I settled on both lol

Was at my local Walmart this evening on my usual weekend shopping spree and I was in the soda section at the front of the store and I could not decide which Fanta flavor to buy. I at first decided to pass on buying either, but decided to buy them both since it was getting late and my bus is arriving to take me home very soon.

I like how Usagi is able to hear people cry for help from her hair buns but she doesn’t have this ability in any other part of the series

You know how in the manga how Usagi is able to hear Naru cry for help from long distance? This is kept in the episode adaptation of Act 1. However, this is like the only time she has this ability as this isn’t present in any other episode of the series. I honestly wish this was kept in.
