How to deal with only having 4.5 stars

Just noticed our profile is now 4.5 stars and now sure when it "dropped". We have sold 29 items and have 11 "reviews". Is this scaring people away in the era when everyone leaves 5 star reviews and everything has to be 5 stars to even consider it? Is it better to start a new account fresh and hope it stays at 5 stars? It seems every account I can find on here had 5 stars.

Rescue locomotive for 12 hour late Sunset Limited/Texas Eagle

Westbound Sunset Limited/Texas Eagle arriving in Benson AZ 12 hours late. Was on time out of San Antonio but then got stuck behind a disabled freight train for several hours. Later was stopped east of Deming NM for a rescue locomotive. This second delay pushed it to 12 hours.

A lot of us feel that it's ok to be delayed a bit on the train...and we just find things to do, making lemonade out of lemons. However this was my first experience with what happens to riders in small towns downwind of the delays. In Benson the train is supposed to depart 538pm. The estimates ranged from midnight to 130am when the riders (my family) went to bed, and the estimates crept later all night long. So they had to set frequent alarms to wake up, check status, and then eventually head to the station. There aren't good backup travel options through Benson, like many of the small towns served by Amtrak. I used to not care about delays, but now I feel for all of you who depend on Amtrak for transport in small towns.

The plus side is they get daylight for a normally nighttime trip!

Southwest experience (vs united)

I had a great comparison trip this summer. 2 segments on southwest outbound and 2 segments in united return.

Gate was full of preboarders and gate lice blocking the lineups. Gate agents made my wife stuff her purse into her carryon in order to board. Passengers headed to the back dumped their bags right into the front of the plane in the bins overhead of the seats with extra legroom. Passengers on the 737 max left their bags flat, reducing bin space. FAs did nothing re bins. Second segment was delayed over an hour...we sat in our seats for the full delay.

Guess which airline had zero of those issues: Southwest.

Anyone know why ATL-SAN diverted?

Seems odd unless they determined maintenance options are better??

Note: diversion is to lax

So then who is the 5th place team out of the quarters and who will be the 4th place team by next weekend?

Morocco 0:2 France

Belgium 1:2 Spain

Switzerland 1:3 Argentina

Norway 1:2 England

EDIT: i am asking your opinion, not fifa ratings, not next after next week's results, etc. Just opinion based on these 8 teams games through the quarters

Awkward headrest position 787-9

I was at the boeing factory tour recently and they have an exhibit with dreamliner seats. I am tall, and the headrest (at max height) dug right into my back forcing me into a very awkward sitting position.

Southwest 737-max 8 have similar headrest but are higher...dont dig into my back. Anyone have any idea if AA 787-9 headrest is noticeably lower than say the 737 max 8??

Hello Gamecocks (2010s) and Red Raiders (2020s)

Since ranked at time of game is "meaningless", here ya go. We welcome a few new teams to the mix now, like them or not.

ELR are amazing

Had a great experience this weekend on full flights, first sw trip since new seating. I have a CC that allows seat upgrades 48 h before flight time, and i was able to grab ELR seats for a group of 4...we were paired up and secured seats in row 5 or better, placed on boarding group 2. Seats were spacious although they do hurt the ass after a few hours. Overhead bins were fine. There were 2 seating issues on return: someone allergic placed next to a dog and someone being bumped from seat by staff. Both were resolved by FAs without incident. For me this resolves years of stress traveling on sw where we had no idea where we would sit and had to settle for whatever middle seat crumbs the jetway Jesus choir decided to leave our family. Outbound flight was on time and return was delayed because equipment came from LGA which had been delayed...but we knew this before departing for airport.

We loved this home so much on Long Island so we took our entire family to see it, told our realtor we must get this home, then we put an offer in for 75k over asking…

Only to find out that someone put 120k over asking + waiving the inspection. We just can’t financially compete with that and definitely won’t be able to handle an under-appraisal…

I’m so distraught I may just go back to renting a luxury apartment because this market is so fucked. I’m not even interested in looking at more homes.
