I’m running a 2023 BMW g20 m340i on a high flow downpipe and mhd stage 2 flash tune on 93 pump gas and want to push 500hp, but i can’t run ethanol in my car to get there but i hear with the b58s if you can’t run ethanol you can just put a hybrid turbo like a pure800 and it’ll allow you to make enough boost/horse power to bring you up to 500hp, my question is not a matter of if it is possible because i know it is as i’ve seen it done, but im wondering if dropping a hybrid turbo in the car will ruin the reliability of the car, i personally don’t see how it could cause any issues, i don’t push my car hard every single day i do casual pulls and will roll race every blue moon with friends nothing too harsh on the motor, the stage 2 flash tune has been super reliable on 93 pump gas as my daily.
I’m modding my m340i i’m almost completely done with cosmetic mods within less than 2 weeks of owning the car, but as far as tuning i’m going to have it femto unlocked and then mhd flash tuned but i was wondering if people who get the unlock keep the dme and car updates off to avoid re locking the dme, i know you are supposed to turn the updates off before you ship the dme out and leave it off until you get to tune the car but idk if people are leaving the updates off or turning them back on because i know if i end up wanting to re tune the car for E50 and i get an update it’ll relock the dme.
I have a 2023 m340i and want to get a stage 2 MHD tune and i have the VRSF B58 High flow catted downpipe, i read somewhere that if you run a catted downpipe with a tune it will melt the cats in the downpipe, but im pretty sure VRSF says that you can run a stage 2 tune with their downpipe just wondering if anyone has this setup or knows forsure if it’s doable.
is it true that the g20 m340i that come with xdrive cannot be put into full rwd through the infotainment in the car? i google it and it says the only way to put the car in rwd is to disable the x drive with a OBD scanner and an app, i originally wanted the x drive because i thought id be able to switch from awd to rwd whenever i wanted while driving but it seems to be able to do that id have to put in and OBD and boot up the app to disable the x drive function, reason im asking is because i want to be able to slide the car so if this is the case i think i should get the rwd.
i’m looking at getting a 2023 m340i and i want to get a new front bumper and rear diffuser but the one i’m looking at is questionable seems to be a clone of another brand, it’s the aka LED rear diffuser for 2023-2026 bmw 3 series g20, wondering if anyone has tried this rear diffuser yet just wanna know if it’s any good because it’s one of the cheaper options
Hey you guys i am just curious what everyone’s opinions are on prices after the gr supra is discontinued, as far as value goes do you think the value will slowly rise because they have officially stopped producing all supras after 2026, i’m not super knowledgeable about the market but i feel like in a few years the value of the gr supras might rise again, does anyone think it will just depreciate more? or maybe stay around where its at now.
I’m learning how to do donuts and basic beginner drifts and i don’t want to destroy every single set of rear tires i get so my plan is to get a cheap pair of wheels and tires dedicated for drifting and just change them out on the weekends when i go drift, other than that im not sure what else i should invest in to protect my daily driver and keep it in the best shape as possible
Hello i’m new, im trying to get a set of handheld radios or walkie talkies but im struggling to find anything that works well within cities, i need at least 5-10 mile range, im using them for car events so the radios would be likely used within cars on the freeway or roadways and possibly be a few streets over in distance with buildings and other things in the way, does anyone know the best radio for this job.
I’m stuck between a holosun 507k and a EPS carry, i like the idea of a closed emitter seems more reliable, but im wanting to make this my edc and competition gun for concealed carry matches, my biggest thing is reliability and a massive window, i have a rmr on my glock 19 and for competition it’s just too small of a window i want something comparable to the SRO window that will fit onto a glock 48 slide, i think the EPS carry and 507k have about the same window size but im curious if there are any other reliable optics that have a better window for good visibility.
Hello Sig family, i just picked up a p226 x legion DA/SA and im having trouble finding any holsters, i need 1 appendix carry IWB, and 1 OWB mid ride for my speed belt, does anyone have any recommendations or links to holsters they know will work for this gun
I am wanting a p226 legion DA/SA but i’m having trouble deciding, I love the classic look of the first p226 legion but the trigger is not as good as the newer p226 x legion. The p226 x legion has a much better trigger is what i hear and from looking at videos it just seems a lot lighter on the double action pull and the reset seems incredibly short, the reason i’m so conflicted is because i’m seeing people change out the stock triggers in the p226 legions for the grey guns trigger kits and they say it is an improvement which is great because then i’d get a better trigger pull along with the classic look im wanting, but i question the reliability and how it compares to the p226 x legion trigger, if someone has shot or owned a p226 legion with a upgraded grey guns trigger kit and a p226 x legion DA/SA can you please let me know if the triggers after the upgrade are about the same or if the p226 x legion is superior.
Does anyone know any good trigger kits that come with struts, hammer spring, and whatnot that shorten travel, reset and lighten overall trigger pull weight on the P226 Legion DA/SA
I’m wondering if the stock trigger in the p226 da/sa is cumbersome on the first trigger pull, i know the first pull is heavier because its DA, Im not worried about the pulls after the first because i know the SA pull is light and crisp, im wanting to compete uspsa with the gun so i’m wondering if i should find an aftermarket trigger to lighten up the first DA pull. I’m just concerned it’ll hinder speed and performance on the range.
I’m getting a new car within a year or 2 and i’m stuck on these 2 cars specifically i’m not interested in another cars, I’m just conflicted because toyotas are just reliable, cheap, and easy to fix, and the supra has better gas mileage so long term id save money, but the m4 is faster, cooler, and sexier, but it’s more expensive, not as good on gas mileage, and i hear bmws break down a lot im not sure if that applies still because i would hear this years ago and idk if the reliability has gotten better for 2021+ models, im just afraid i’ll end up getting the m4 and it’ll be broken constantly and i’ll have to spend ungodly amounts of money fixing it, the gas i’m not so worried about because the mileage are pretty similar supra gets 22-29 mpg and the m4 gets 19-22 mpg so around $55 - $65 in gas for a full tank and that’ll last me 2 weeks (im driving a gas guzzler right now and i get 9 MPG $135 per full tank 😅)
I want to make my Glock 19 slide rack smooth and slick almost glassy like the 2011s i have a springfield prodigy and it’s great it feels super slick with no gritty feel or resistance it just glides like it’s glass or ice, would there be a way to get this on a glock 19?
