Should I buy a Switch 2 if I already have a Gaming laptop ? Never owned any console before

I have always wanted to own a console.

Last year I got a job and bought a Gaming laptop this year after saving money.

I have been wanting to buy a console after that but with the price increases happening idk if it's worth it to spend money on consoles.

I mainly want to buy a Switch 2/steam deck for the "bed" feel where I just lay on bed and game on it.

Steam deck felt the right option to me but it felt it won't be able to manage current year's games on it properly. Also the insane price increases.

Switch 2 I want to buy mostly for newer pokemon stuff along with animal crossing and fire emblem game. But mostly for pokemon games.

With current cost increases happening i feel like I should try to get one now before the prices become 3x or 4x the current prices.

Also I live in India and these are extremely costly and not officially sold in India so i would have to buy it through resellers who themselves charge 150-200 dollars extra.

Or should I just get switch 1 which is available for like 350 dollars or switch 2 which costs 650 dollars ?

Should I buy one or just wait until like 2029 and pray to god that prices go back to normal ?

It sucks to become an adult in the current RAM and Graphics card apocalypse

How complex is EU4 economy compared to EU5 ? As a EU5 player should I try out EU4 ?

My first EU game is EU5. I have enjoyed it quite well with over 200 hours (there is still more content I have yet to explore in this game ). The one thing that I never managed to get a grasp is economy. It feels way too complex for me. I just see what goods I am lacking and try to import them , build RGOs etc just hoping that fixes my economy , rather than knowing what to actually do.

I really like EU5 but I am looking for a more economically simpler game , so my question is , how.is the economy in EU4 ? Is it similar like EU5 where every good counts along with markets and trade inflow and outflow? Or is it like CK3 where you just build some locations and earn money ?

Games Like Persona 5 (story wise) - being a rebel ?

I completed Persona 5 Royal last month and I have been thinking about it a lot since then.

I really liked the concept of them being suppressed by adults/authority figures and being on losing end and gaining power to rewrite their fate by their own hands. I absolutely love the story and how they all work (secretly from the outside world) to change the world.

I also really like the music. I have been listening to almost everyday. "Life will change" is so so good. It embodies this whole concept so well

Looking for more games that have this tone of taking the fate into their own hands or people who are suppressed gaining the power to challenge authority figures.

The other 2 games that gave me this sort of feelings were Yakuza 0 and Like a Dragon.

Both excellent games.

Like there are so many games that you can just say "yeah weak hero beats up strong villain" but I am asking for games specifically focusing on this concept of being a rebel.

Tip for People in early game : Start a ranch asap , incredibly helpful later on.

I played palworld during EA release (bought it on day two) and completed the game back then and left.
I started a new save with 1.0 release.

I am level 48 and there are so many ingredients that need ranch drops. I didn't even bother setting up the ranch. Whenever I needed some I hunted.

I am level 48 and just started a ranch base. It is taking a lot of time to get the ingredients from ranch and then craft other stuff using those.

You will save a lot of time setting up a ranch (either in your base or a separate base for itself+mining) now than wasting time later on waiting for glands , organs

Weight loss - How many days a week should I go to Gym?

Hey I am 24 years old.

I have recently started being consistent with the gym.

With last month I started going and am doing 5 days a week in the gym.

I do Strength training and hit the treadmill burning 200 calories.

I do this 5 days a week but my question is will my rest days (2 days ) get the lost calories back due to no exercise ?

If so should I do 6 days a week or do something different to burn calories on rest days ?

I am also on a diet that I maintain even on rest days.

Obviously I am aware I wont regain all of that back but wouldn't it still be a few more calories added to my body ?

Is protein required for Weight loss ?

I am 90 kgs and have been going to the gym for a month consistently (I did go before but wasn't consistent at all )

I want to lose weight and maybe build muscle (if possible )

I do Strength training and then hit the treadmill aiming for burning 200 calories 5 days a week

My question is how necessary is protein intake daily for weight loss specifically ? I eat like 6 eggs all week and chicken 2 times.

How should I change my diet accordingly ?

I am also eating less (dieting ) to loose weight.

How did I get into Holy roman empire elections ? I was the ruler of a random duchy outside HRE ?

I was playing as a ruler of a random small slav duchy and expanded a bit. I made some allies and attacked HRE , I took some territories from them.

Then a few years later , I got a notification saying HRE elections are going on and I am a candidate in those elections ?

This happened a few months ago and I remembered this today so I don't remember exactly what happened.

I really like how Friendly Elizabeth is compared to persona 5

As a persona 5 player I got tired of the strict attitude of the twins (I know they showed twins "cared about the joker but they didn't realise it" way) but seeing elizabeth just be this friendly is refreshing.

As a first time Persona 3 Reload player (anything persona 3 is first time ) I am enjoying her presence

(Ignore the apathy patient in the background)

Any space games where you travel between planets and can build/conquer planets ?

Kinda like stellaris + Mount and blade 2 bannerlord

Not necessary to be as complex as Stellaris with all its systems (like diplomacy etc ) but in the same gist as expanding and forming interplanetary empires , fighting factions , becoming dominant factions etc.

I need combat to be fun but it doesn't necessarily have to be unique or top notch particularly.

I tried no man's sky last year and I didn't like it much. It lacked something that I didn't like.

I have been looking at elite dangerous/x4/dyson sphere program but I can't decide which to get or suggest me if something else fits this criteria better

The reason velvet room is a prison not because of Joker's criminal record or his fate but because Mona doesn't allow me to go out at night

Let me go out late at night sometimes

Season 2 was so goated ngl [discussion]

With S4 cour 1 ending , i went back and watched a few scenes from season 2 and it was so good.

Subaru's different loop failures , satella flooding the world , subaru meeting the witches , roswaal kicking the shit out of subaru , subaru being eaten by rabbits , subaru meeting his parents , Otto beating the shit out of subaru to make him realise he has friends , garfiel's backstory and him changing his views.

I was so excited when subaru realised he can trust Otto and then made a plan to overcome all of this. I was so happy when he won at the end.

It was so peak ngl.

I am also excited about what subaru is going to do now that he figured out his misunderstandings , it's like practicing and winning Dark souls but playing with only one finger. I am THAT excited
