I know nothing about HVAC beyond lurking in the sub and was looking at a new construction my friend paid for and noticed this bundle of spliced wires is on the top of the HVAC system. Does this seem correct and or up to AZ building code?
I’ll be visiting Chamonix with my partner from December 27 - January 10th coming from Colorado USA. I’m an advanced intermediate skier and my partner is practically a beginner. We’re planning to ski probably 6-8 days and spend the other days sightseeing elsewhere. What’s the recommended way for us to get ski passes? I’ve checked the Mont Blanc Natural Resort website, but parts of it are several years out of date and purchasing day passes of any duration seem to require an access code? Needless to say, I’m quite confused and would appreciate any advice! Thank you

In an area with intentional drainage (for example, a curb with a slight grade leading toward a storm drain) is there generally an allowable amount of standing water, or does any standing water indicate that the drainage was not well designed? It just rained pretty heavily in my town and I see water draining down the curb into a storm drain, but there is also standing water where the streets make an intersection. It’s not much water, but I imagine it should be draining if the gradient was correct?
A little while ago there was a post on here about someone asking for a vet to take their dog for a dental cleaning, and I believe there was a recommendation for a clinic near Loveland/Berthoud that only does dentals and is really high quality with a lower price. Does anyone have the name for that clinic, or other recs for dental-specific vets in the area?
Between 25 and 45 mph I hear a loud whistling sound originating (I think) from somewhere on the drivers side. I can’t nail down the source. Anyone have a similar experience and figure out what’s causing it? 2019 Rebel
Unknown dates. The hole in the wall surplus store I found it at, buried under other defense items told me the papers that accompanied the crate this was in had it listed at being from 1950 or 1960 I can’t remember the exact date he gave. No idea what year any of the supplies is actually from, but it definitely appears to be 1940-1960s. The tourniquet is wrapped up, as was the tape but I was able to buy opened examples to add from a separate kit.
I recently purchased a suppressor for my Ruger Mk IV and I want to fire the pistol without hearing protection to see how loud it is. I don’t own property where I could safely discharge the weapon, I don’t want to go to an indoor range because I will almost certainly need ear pro, and I don’t know of any national forest / BLM land in the front range that’s not under a Stage 1 or greater fire ban. Does anyone have any advice on where I could go for some target shooting within the front range where I could safely and legally fire this weapon without hearing protection? TIA
Was running errands today in Denver and around 2:30pm there was a group of probably 200 teens (?) on e-motos riding into downtown across Speer doing wheelies and running red lights and shit like nothing mattered. They held up traffic on Speer for 3 stoplight cycles and even didn’t stop for an ambulance with its lights on. Is this the new normal in Denver and does anyone (ie the cops) care??
I’ve lived in CO for 13 years and have gotten Ikon most of them but I wanna make a change. Is getting a Loveland pass on its own worth it, or will the terrain/experience get old fast? I’ve never skied Loveland before but in my mind it’s basically a larger Eldora and I wouldn’t buy just an Eldora szn pass
