Should I tell my employer that my family has a history of heart problems?
I'm a fresh graduate that was hired into a dispatch company, and the job description and discussion initially led me to believe that I would be working with a regular 8-5 shift.
However, it's currently changed to be a 4勤2休 交代制, meaning in alternation, I would need to work between day and overnight. That is not good for the heart.
I don't really know how to handle this situation, it's my first time adulting and I feel like I'm being taken advantage of, or I'm overreacting and this is culturally normal?
If I tell my employers about this it might feel like I'm being defensive/trying to leave a paper trail/weaseling my way out, but on the other hand why'd they change it all of the sudden?
Advice on how to gracefully handle this would be sincerely appreciated
