Your Letter will be premiering in U.S. Cinemas on the 17th of August so I made this review since I already saw it. The back half of the video deals with story spoilers so if you haven't watched the film yet, I recommend watching the first 10 minutes of the video.

I recently watched the new Spider-Man movie and I enjoyed it but I just didn't sympathize with Jean Grey at all. Like, they pulled the "Damage Control tortured and killed her sister!" card to justify her rage. It's understandable to want revenge but she was moving like a straight up villian in this one lol. Even Punisher, who is the face of murdering tons of people for your personal tragedy was more likeable than her, because even though he sniped Peter, he went all the way to that island and carried Peter to the nearest hospital and stayed overnight with him, which was kinda sweet. Meanwhile, Jean Grey possessed MJ and forced her to kiss Peter without either of their consent, was generally psychologically torturing Peter because 🤷‍♂️, and mentally breaking Bruce Banner for your own goals without giving a shit what happened to him. Peter is literally turning into a spider and she's over here with her mustache twirling ass going "Awww, how sad, what a simple spider 😈" this should be horrifying to you, you can literally read his mind! The straw that broke this camel's back was when she was about to kill the director guy and Peter shouted out "Don't do it Jean! You're not a killer!" Bro, she's BEEN killing people! She possessed Punisher and shot two guys in the face! She killed two people by herself to get into Damage Control headquarters! She let a elderly guy get run over by a taxi when she was mocking Peter! She made MJ suicide jump off a building which forced Peter to save her! She did all of this BEFORE she knew her sister was dead! Could you imagine if her sister was alive? "Yeah I killed 4 people and potentially/tried to kill several innocents to get to you but we're together again 😋" She obviously has no qualms about killing, the only reason she didn't fill that guy full of glass was because they wanted to redeem her in the plot for X-men. Even if they had to redeem her, I wish that MJ or Punisher or even Ned punched her stupid ass before they let her go. If she wasn't keeping Peter alive at the end, I would have not mind if Punisher kicked her ass before throwing her on the first bus to Xavier's academy.

Speaking of Punisher, isn't he viewed as a dangerous wanted vigilante in the eyes of New York? Like yeah, he dragged Spider-Man into the hospital but they're totally arresting his ass after he stays in the hospital.
