So with all these S2 versions and physical versions out what are you, the already owners of the Switch 1 versions, doing? Thoughts? Options?

I bought the paid digital upgrade for Kirby and Wonder, but now Xeno 1, 2, and 3…. Awww man, I want the physical for all these but can’t justify spending again.

My partner said S1 prob better as plays on both consoles, which makes sense I guess, but I dunno.

Wish there was a free upgrade path to get a new cartridge haha.

So I absolutely loved LN1 and 2, and recently got them against on Switch 2 to replay and show my partner.

Replaying them, im really digging the non-existent story telling and coming up with my own assumptions on wtf this world is.

So I am playing 2 again (spoiler) and I love how it’s a prequel story to the first and explains a bit more. And I felt like the development team really had big ideas for the franchise and imagined how far it could have gone.

And now I’m playing the first LN and the DLC - and shows how he lands next to six at the start and dragged off again and that’s how far I am in it.

But I heard 3 was pretty bad not just for its overall performance, but the controversial no couch co op.

I heard it’s also just not as good as the previous two.

So, is it worth playing? Or will it just steer off from the previous two and contradict anything? Is it as long as the 2nd or longer? Now things have calmed down is it really that bad of a game or it’s just not as good as the first two but it’s still very good?

I also did first part in Reanimal with my partner and that feels like the 3rd to me haha. So good man

Not sure if anyone knew this but I always love finding unique or unknown features, like unlocking the switch with different buttons does different noises or how you can turn off auto-video play in the E Shop.

But I just discovered that my switch being 1000NIT setting and 6 brightness on my main TV changes when I move the switch to another dock on another TV, to the 600 NIT / 4 brightness.

Pretty cool that it retains the memory of HDR per TV / dock!

So I’m 42, was made redundant 2 years ago to this date after going through a massive mid life crisis where my mother with Huntington’s passed, my sister tested positive, my relationship of 10 years ended, lost my job, diagnosed with ADHD, and the trauma of my childhood (sexual abuse, father abuse, bullying) flared up post mother dying.

What I’ve been doing for 2 years is maintaining now this new relationship (1.5 years, she lives with me works 30 hours a week), psychologist and therapy for over 25-30 sessions, I have been on anti depressants for 18 years and now on Vyvanse and Dex each day. I go to the gym, eat well, but the struggle mentally to even look for work is physically gut wrenching.

I have had 2 exemptions with Centerlink which was a total of 6 months but now I’m attending their office and talking.

Each fortnight I get next to nothing from centering due to her pay. Last pay was around $60. I think $160 before that. Etc.

Is there any wiggle room at all with partner income assessment each fortnight? Any further support I could be getting?

I also applied for the electricity discount.

I just don’t know what I don’t know.

And I DO want to get a job and figure out my career I’m just so emotionally … stuck, it’s exhausting even thinking about it. And with barely any Centerlink payments it’s hard to continue the therapy I need.

For anyone still waiting on a delivery or sending a package in the South Aus area where the fire occurred do not let them weasel not 'at the very least' give you the $100 insurance cover.

So I called an after waiting an hour finally spoke to someone - I am investigating my delivered item as I sell on eBay.

• Asked if my tracked package would have been on the truck and can he confirm.
• After a 5 minute silent investigation of urm-ah, then mentioned "compensation is usually not given in this situations as the fire was not in their control."
• More investigations in silence and then talk all my details and said I may get an email to claim compensation.
• I then said before you leave "So what's the difference with that $100 insurance stuff, just curious what that is?"
• He said that's for 'Lost or damaged items, and since this was destroyed, that's not a claim"
• I will now write what was said (just got off the phone and I'm sending this to my eBay customer)
  • "So it was destroyed on the truck?"
  • "I'm going to yes, in this instance I'm pretty certain it was on the truck"
  • "Oh... so, sorry, I'm not being difficult, so it was on the truck or it wasn't?"
  • "I'm going to say it was on the truck and because video games are flammable it's certain they were destroyed and in this instance as it's out of our control (and yada yada something about 4000 items)
  • "Sorry, so you beleieve it was on the truck or it was?"
  • "I can't say 100% it was on the truck"
  • "Okay well, two things can't be truck then, you're saying you cannot say it's on the truck, but then you're saying it was destroyed, so which one is it? Because to me it sounds like it's lost"
  • "Well, I can appreciate what you're saying and I can't see it's on the truck...."
  • "Okay okay wait, just so we don't go around in circles, if you can see the assignment number and it's assigned truck then that's good enough for me to agree with you it's destroyed and fine I don't care about compensation. But you're saying you don't know or can't with confidence say it was, so, that to me is lost. Like that's literally lost...
  • "Look I'm on the phones until 1pm and I'll call you back when I speak with my manager and I'm sure they'll refund you the full amount but I can't tell you we will just let me speak with them and I'll let you know later today look out for an email (blah blah blah)"

Unless they can prove to you it's on the truck, don't accept no insurance back as lost. It's bloody LOST, that's the definition of LOST, if you cannot SHOW ME where it is, ITS LOST!

Since I was 14 I have quoted random SF64 my entire life. In the shower, on the street, just random clips pop in and out of my head.

Even before the recent news, I’d be showering and constantly saying “thanks Fox, I thought they had me”

I bet there’s more hyperactive adhd gamers like me that have for decades now continually quoted them.

And soon, it’ll be replaced! We will play the living shit out of the new SF64 re-imagining and only remember the new lines!
