Yes it’s a Mug today. But a very nice porcelain mug with steeping basket.

Tried a new tea! Almond Apple Delight. I love it.

I got Hubby in on the tea ritual this week!

Now I wish I’d taken a formal Before.

Diet - no restrictions, just calorie deficient eating between 1,320 - 1,420 and diligent tracking.

Routine:
Original - 45min on the elyptical every other day
Current - 3 days of 35min elyptical + 15 resistance tube strength training, one day 25 min elyptical only

Next - hopefully 120

I got it from another sub member. It seems hand painted but I couldn’t find much info on it.

I was 156lbs now 131.5. I started losing weight in February. Clearly I was delusional that this dress fit back in October 😅

I do daily calorie tracking with a goal of 1350-1433. I also started with 30 min on the elliptical 4x week now 45 min 4x week.

Sorry I’m a bit late. Today’s cup is my favorite with some Jasmine tea.

This week my cup appears empty.. I am fortunate to say this because it as been full. I shared tea with a friend today as the summer winds down end she prepares to go back to teaching. It was nice catching up over mini cucumber sandwiches and blueberry muffins.

Let it be known that in this day… this Sub has reached 5,000 weekly visitors!

This cup I think I got in an antique shop but I don’t think it’s antique. There’s no real makers mark, it’s modern and common. (This shop also has a tearoom so I think she just liked it.)

Anyway: Jasmine tea again for zen for the rest of the week. (I’m gonna need it tomorrow at work lol) I did a lot of housework today and Jasmine always relaxes me.

It’s a heatless fooled you. It feels fairly firm, but a little hollow. No scoring that I can see.

I’m not good at quilting, but my SIL is expecting a little Muggle in September! I wanted to make a blanket for them as my SIL is also a big HP fan.

I posted a week or two ago about making a baby quilt for Nephew. Done. Won’t be going to any quilt shows though lol

I’m terrible at binding. I tried mittored corners but didn’t get it right this time. It’s been 10 years since I’ve made a blanket.

I ironed on my patches and then did free-motion for the first time. No inspecting that 🙈

The blanket was presented to the cat for approval and washed… I consider that it held up a success.

Today’s cup - the Carnival Downton Abbey commemorative set. Those of you who want to call this a coffee cup - you are heard. Downton Abbey is socializing revolves around tea so I consider this cup to have a handle in both worlds. Also I filled it with tea 😅 I was able to get a set of four of these and shared them with two good friends who also love the show.

Today I’m drinking Jasmine tea to relax after a quilting… um… endeavor. It was binding day and that’s not my forte.

I can’t wait to see your cups!
