Please help for science and reading teas

I’m not very strong in science or reading. Do you recommend watching YouTube before studying from a book?

Which book is more helpful for science and reading: the ATI Official TEAS Study Guide or the Mometrix TEAS book? I’ve seen a lot of people mention Mometrix, but I’m not sure if it’s worth buying.

Did NurseHub or Smart Edition help you with science or reading? Are there any YouTube channels you recommend?

Questions about TEAS exam

Hi! I scored around 60% on my previous TEAS exam. For those of you who scored 80–90%, what study resources did you use?

I'm planning to retake the TEAS this year at Kapiʻolani Community College in Hawaii, and my goal is to score between 80% and 90%.

Would you recommend the official ATI Study Guide or the Mometrix book? Which one helped you the most? I'd really appreciate any recommendations or study tips. Thank you!

Parents of 3: Was it worth it?

I know it's early to think about this, but I'm curious because I'm an only child.

I'm 32 now. My daughter is 25 months old, and my son is almost 9 months old. My husband and I have always wanted three kids. Our plan is to have our third baby sometime between August 2029 and January 2030.

For those of you with three kids, was it worth it? Do you think it will be easier since my daughter would be about 5-5½ and my son would be about 3.5-4 years old by then?

In general, what do you think is the best age gap between siblings?

Also, should I be worried about being 35 when I have my third baby? I know pregnancy risks can increase with age. I'd love to hear your experiences. Thanks!

What Does Your 2-Year-Old Watch? Screen Time & Show Recommendations

Hi! I have a 25-month-old, and she watches Ms. Rachel for about an hour a day on TV. She seems a little bored with it sometimes. Do you have any recommendations for other shows for a 2-year-old?

Also, for those who have a 2-year-old (or had one before), how many minutes of screen time does your child get each day or week?

No judgment—just curious. 😊

How much screen time does your 12-month-old get?

Hi, I’m just curious. For those who have a 12-month-old (or had one before), how many minutes of TV screen time does your child watch each day or week? No judgment, just wondering what others do. 😊

I am not sure if 20-30 minutes a day should be ok for 12 months?

Do Other Christians Ever Fear That God and Jesus Isn't There?

I am a Christian, and sometimes I fear, "What if God and Jesus are not there?" Have you ever felt that way? Do you think other Christians feel this way too? Does that means I’m going to hell? I’m scared.

Should I only use KJV for beginner Bible?

She said that NLT or ESV is not accurate. And that it is men’s own understanding to read because the verses in those bibles teaches the false teachings. It lead away from Christ, not to Christ. And that it is a lie to understand. So, she said only use KJV. Is she right?

No Catholic Bible please.

Someone told me NLT is away from Christ?

Hi everyone. I'm still learning the Bible and had someone tell me that I should stop reading the NLT and only use the KJV.

She said the NLT is based on man's own understanding, leads people away from Christ, and contains false teachings that were passed down. She also quoted the verse about not leaning on our own understanding.

I use translations like the NLT because they are easier for me to understand. Are these translations trustworthy, or should Christians only read the KJV?

Which Bible translation should I use that is good? Or easier than KJV? Or just KJV?

I'm genuinely trying to learn, so please be kind. Thank you.

Struggling with fear as a liberal Christian

I am a liberal Christian, and some conservative Christians have told me that I am devil of God and that I will go to hell because I am liberal. And they said I’m not Christian because I’m liberal. For example, I support LGBTQ+ people, and I believe there are some situations, such as rape, where abortion may be understandable. I'm tired of hearing hurtful things said about me, but it also scares me because I worry that I might go to hell for being a liberal Christian. It makes me want to cry because I do not know if they are right. Of course, I believe in God and Jesus in my heart. What do you think?

Any Families Approved for Yokota With a Child Receiving Speech Therapy?

Hi everyone,

My husband may be getting orders to Yokota Air Base in Japan, but we are waiting on the EFMP review. My daughter is 2 years old and has a cochlear implant. She currently receives speech therapy and audiology follow-up appointments in Hawaii.

Does anyone have a child with a disability, cochlear implant, hearing loss, or speech delay who was approved for Yokota? Were you able to find speech therapy services for your child? How was your experience?

Thank you!

Beginner Bible translation help

Hi, I’m a beginner with the Bible. I have an NKJV Bible, but sometimes it’s hard for me to understand. Which translation do you think is easier to read: ESV, NLT, or CSB? Or if you recommend a different translation, that’s fine too. Thanks!
