Here’s a fun exercise (not really)… what has peri cost you in your life as far as medical expenses? Obviously this applies mostly to those of us stuck in the US with our abysmal health care.

For instance, I went to get patch testing done by a specialist dermatologist because my skin itching was so out of hand. This is itching that didn’t start until I was 42, and of course every dermatologist was just so stumped as to why it would start now in my life. 🙄 I just got a bill for it: over $1100 and that’s after insurance. The original cost was around $10,000. Now add up all the doctor’s visits since my symptoms have started… all the medications, lab tests, and copays… it’s probably closer to $1500 just while going through peri. I never would’ve done that stupid patch testing if I knew how expensive it was going to be. I was already having a crappy day…

I tried watching the new season of Celebrity Family Feud and couldn’t get through five minutes. He’s just so obnoxious as a host.

Unisex shirts = men’s shirts. There’s nothing unisex about them. I’m annoyed because a sweatshirt I bought recently is too tight in the hips because for some reason all “unisex” shirts seem to taper at the waist. I mean why? Oh because it’s a men’s cut, and not designed for a woman’s body at all. I can’t return the stupid thing because I bought it at a festival.

At least if you’re making the shoulders cut broadly in a unisex shirt, can you add an extra inch or two in the waist since women usually have wider hips? Or fuck us I guess.

I love that Summerfest does this promo every year. Tomorrow between noon to 3 get a free 2027 Summerfest ticket, plus it’s free entry during that time. Kinda seems like a no brainer.

Usually with heat like this, Summerfest allows people to bring in sealed water bottles. I haven’t seen any announcements from them yet on it.

Maybe I’m just in a bad mood because I had to move around my schedule today to accomodate some relatives with kids. I suggested twice yesterday to go to this event and everyone ignored me. Now I’m the one moving around my shit… whatever.

Being the only adult child with no grandchildren puts you at the bottom of the list. Also everyone is carpooling and didn’t bother asking me if I wanted to as well. It’s just a “see you there”.

I swear, all my shows ended. I tried that Bear Gryllis show but they really watered it down. It used to be good. So anyway… what’s everyone watching now? Anything good? I like comedies or dramas are usually my top genres, with some reality TV thrown in like Traitors or The Valley.

I love living alone and being single most of the time, but when there’s what I call an “adult task” to do, I hate doing it alone. Adult task meaning something bigger like furniture shopping or needing a new appliance. Sometimes I just wish I had someone else to bounce this stuff off of. I feel overwhelmed and just end up wasting time on my phone on the couch… like right now…
