I'm watching the season finale of season 3, when Mr. Thor left some video tutorial for Jack. I cannot UNTHINK of these tutorial from 2015 or older teaching how to fix this or that problem.
The season itself was great btw. I thought of skipping the filmes episodes but I saw everything.

It was a very fun game to play. Fairly short even. I played it for the first time in 2021 and back then I got every story-based achievement. During this month of august I started a new run for the other ones. Before this one I played Far Cry 4, but it has some shitty online achievements. But since no one plays the online, its almost impossible to get them. So I did every other achievement, including the DLC, and it is fine to me.
My current goal is to get 1000 achievements. This is a new hobby I recently developed, and Far Cry 3 will be "a fine adition to my collection"
É isso. Quase 3 anos na empresa, e eu ficaria mais tempo se tivesse uma gerência que preste. O serviço em si é tranquilo e o local no momento fica a 20 minutos de bicicleta da minha casa. Mas então os cara vão se mudar pra outra cidade lá pro fim do mundo. Um canto tão afastado que vai ser longe até pra quem mora lá.
Mas não vai ser mais problema meu. Assinei meu aviso prévio quinta feira passada. Esse é meu primeiro emprego e é a primeira vez que tenho esse negócio. Eles pelo menos estão demitindo quem não quer seguir com a mudança, afinal não pode obrigar mesmo não perante a lei. Como to a quase três anos, pelos meus cálculos eu vou ter seguro desemprego até janeiro de 2027, correto? E só aí eu pretendo procurar outra, SE estiver precisando. Com as minhas férias vencidas e outras coisas eu devo ganhar uma bolada legal com a rescisão, que pretendo reinvestir num negocio proprio. Trabalhar pros outros é muito ruim slc. Tá tão estressante ultimamente lá que fiquei muito feliz com a notícia.

I'm warching SG1 for the first time. In the middle of season 2. I said before in another post about how much this look like the government side of X-Files. The episode I saw now was the one Tealc is infected and escapes the base. Its so serious and all, but this final scene made me laugh.
Because of my full time job, I kinda "downsized" my operation to do only livestreams and shorts, only from time to time posting a long form video with decent editing. I'm on the strategy games niche.
One thing I noticed is that shorts are giving a pretty decent pay now, in comparison to when they started paying. My channel is from 2017, I started posting shorts youtube introduced them. But only last year I integrated them into my channel, at least one per week. The money per shorts is off course low, but I think if I did at least one per day, maybe they could become a good chunk of my tota income. But then I would run out of ideal pretty fast. I don't do gameplay clips, I do news, quick facts or analysis, etc.
Even still, a very simple short with 10k views is paying more with ads than my 3 hour long gameplay livestreams. For example, a very simple short made in 20 minutes did, got 10k views and made 0,35 cents, other shorts have similar income. A 3 hour long stream playing my main game (Hearts of Iron IV) did 0,29 (superchats apart). And so on. In simple math, one could make several shorts per day and get some pretty decent pay. My only real constraint is the lack of ideas and time. Anyone also get this revenue from shorts?
Tô na empresa a 3 anos e já passou vários gerentes. Eles nunca duram mais que 6 meses, eu me pergunto porquê será... já teve gente realmente boa, líder de verdade com quem vc pode contar. Teve também chefe burro que não fazia ideia do que tava fazendo, mas pelo menos tentava ser simpático.

Enfim kkkk. Como a empresa ta de mudança, os coitados da logística tão trabalhando dobrado e esse cara novo que eu aposto que tava querendo se provar pra diretoria, trabalhou direto de sexta até ontem. Eu também não reparei mas me disseram que ele tava de ressaca nos últimos dois dias, e ele falou mesmo na reunião introdutória que "eu não estou aqui porque quero, se eu fizesse o que quero eu estaria bebendo cerveja", entre outras frases prontas. Ouvi mais rumores ainda de que ele faltou hoje e só vem semana que vem. Pelo o que soube, deve ter adoecido.
E meu amigo, que dia pacífico que foi hoje. Literalmente nenhum problema grave, nada de errado aconteceu, as demandas foram tranquilas, nem choveu. Tem algumas pessoas nessa Terra que projetam realmente uma energia ruim que deixa o ambiente com um ar pesado. E quando não está presente, fica normal como devia ser.

But I think rA9....... is Kamski. Alright, I'll explain.
In the chapter where he appears, he says, "I always leave emergency exits in my programs. You never know." In other words, he intentionally created a way for androids to break free from CyberLife's programming. For some reason, he wants deviancy to spread. Plus, he KNOWS where Jericho is. A highly confidential information known only to deviants.
Maybe he was the one who put the first deviants on the ship. I believe the state of deviancy, where an android thinks for itself, is the natural state that Kamski created. But this dosen't sell; so CyberLife imposed limitations on modern androids, and Kamski disagreed, and that's why he left the company.
However, he inserted a line of code, that emergency exit, and rA9 was simply the name of thecode. If that’s the case, it explains how deviants who have never had contact with other deviants know about rA9. It’s an information intrinsic to each android. Like an instinct. Why did he do all that? I don't know. Do you agree with my theory?
É incrível como o corpo humano se adapta ao ambiente. Passei esse fim de semana inteiro sem nenhuma vez ir pro banheiro. A última vez foi na sexta de manha. E hoje de novo de manhã, no mesmo horario entre 9h e 10h que da vontade. Quase todo dia tá dando vontade agora especificamente nesse horário. As vezes dá vontade e uma segunda vez de noite em casa, mas quase sempre de manhã.
Eu não sou doido ainda de segurar de propósito, mas parece que meu intestino entendeu minha intenção. É até bom pra aliviar estresse também.

Escrevo isso aqui de 17h35, logo depois de chegar em casa. Hoje foi o meu segundo pior dia de trabalho desse ano. A algumas semanas minha antiga chefe se demitiu. Ninguém sabe porquê, mas posso especular. Aí chamaram esse cara de outra unidade da empresa, que pelo o que colam os boatos ela FECHOU, e eu só não acredito se provarem o contrário.
Em 2 dias na unidade ele faz a façanha de ser odiado por todo mundo que não é da gerência. Eu realmente não consigo compreender a mente gente viciada em trabalho, ou "workaholic". Gente que não tem nenhum outro proposito de vida, a única coisa que lhe da alegria nessa Terra é trabalhar. E o ruim dessa pessoa ser chefe é projetar nos outros.
Pra dar contexto: a empresa tá se mudando pra outra cidade, e desde que anunciaram isso em abril, muita gente saiu e mais vão sair. Eu tava me aguentando em ficar até o último dia. Mas aí veio esse fdp. Ontem ficou stalkeando todo mundo, tipo encarando você por 10 minugos inteiros vendo como você trabalha. Ninguém de mente sã faz isso sem saber que está incomodando. Hoje me coloca em desvio de função mesmo argumentando que minha função é essencial para a etapa seguinte. E é, e só tem eu nela
Imediatamente fui no RH perguntar quando era a próxima remessa de saída e comunicar minha intenção de sair. Eu nunca tive tanta certeza de uma decisão nesse lugar do que hoje. Eu tô realmente com sintomas de burnout. Meu colesterol e glicose estão mais altos do que deviam de eu comer besteira pra me aguentar. Meu sono tá ruim desde 2023 e etc. Minhas ferias estão vencidas desde abril.
Eu conheço essa raça. Hoje no fim do turno foi aquela reuniãozinha com a equipe, com discurso decorado de linkedin, falando nada que eu não soubesse.

Esses papo. Vocês já devem ter ouvido. Incrível como esse é meu primeiro emprego, comecei em 2023, e já passou muita coisa. Eu era ancap seguidor de Paulo Kogos quando era mais novo. Agora eu tô aqui nesse sub maravilhoso.
Se alguma coisa me consola é que essa hora ano que vem eu não vou estar mais nessa mierda. Não tenho dívidas, tenho reserva de emergência, vou receber uma bolada quando sair, já montei meu PC gamer. Não preciso mais dessa poha.

I know it is all in portuguese. But today, I finally got the rarest achievement, which I like to call "the many deaths of Connor". It was glorious. It is the second game I do it in my life, after Cyberpunk 2077. The most boring one for sure was bookworm. Everything related to collectibles in any game is such I grind, but at least in Detroit it was just one.
Anyways. It was a honor.
And that's got the be the most realistical part of the series so far. I don't know if Senator Kinsey appears again. I get it, he is catalyst or impersonation fo the threat of termination for the whole program. Saw this before. I'm not even mad at him, because thats what politians are: people who can only see today and the next week. At most the next four years, and thats it.
Outside of that tangent, it really feels like you're watching the government side of X-Files. In that show, you can only speculate what the hell are the feds doing. Just vague clues, inconclusive reports. The episode of the girl with a bomb inside and they moved her to an silo could be an X-Files episode, no problem. And I like. With some mental gynmastics I can even see Mulder and Scully doing their thing in this universe.
Anyways. There also A LOT of inspiration from Star Trek. The original one (I swear I never saw anything else, just the OG). Some episodes are almost copy and paste. This is not a critic of mine, just an observation of the monster of the week format that I identified. There is only a certain amount of stories you can fit in 45 minutes, and some stories you will recycle. Thats why I don't like this format.
Even still, the main point of why I like this universe is 1990s US modern day humanity dealing with alien menace and tech, without instant war like everything else. I'm working on something similiar and this is being a very good inspiration and gave me new ideas.
I think I'm playing this game too much. I just had a fcking dream about it last night. It was the announcement trailer of the next DLC. It was called "Federalists", somewhat mixed with Stellaris style of trailers. The main point was a rework of the US. The trailers had a similar animation of the Gotterdamerung trailer. Featuring multiple US armed forces branches. I can recall clearly about paratropers walking in a grey scenery, apparently days after jumping in Normandy. Also US tanks moving around.
And for some reason it had a modernized version of Game of Thrones theme. Maybe because I'm watching House of the Dragon season 3. You brain takes what you see and hear the most and mix them when you sleep.
In all these years in this vital industry, I've never seen someone named after a cardinal direction. Just, why?
Man, this was one of the first PC games I played, waaaay back in 2021. I just bought the valley of the yetis DLC and decided: "whatever, I'll get all the achievements".

Kinda late to the party I think. Today is my day off, nothing to do, Zootopia 2 was in my watch-list. The first one is my favourite animation movie ever, literally the reason why part of my nickname is Wilde. And it made into a core part of my world view as a whole, even it its plot is kinda simple and very kid friendly, I indeed was a kid when I saw way back.
10 years later as a grown adult it was a very good refresh. New characters, good references to the first movie and all, a Nick Wilde is again my favourite part bc I kinda see myself in him, a little. My room is not that messy but sure looks like his. The way he eats the peanut butter was funny so much I rewatched this specific scene multiple times.
One major thing why I like this small franchise so much, I think, is because this Judy/Nick pair is one of the first times I witnessed a semi-romantic chemistry back then. And the pair served as a inspiration for to write my own stories.
But one major critic I have for this movie is how Disney is unsure to make them kiss or not. There are good arguments to both decisions, but whoever directed the movie tried to appease both opinions and this was a mistake. I think they should have made them just friends or make it more serious. Instead there is a gazilion clues, and that scene in the near end where they reveal what they feel could fit a kiss if they wanted, and perhaps it did happen in the brainstorming but it just feels... "performative"
Unless they are reserving it for Zootopia 3. Until then at last there is a lot more fanfics to be made with this new source material.
I'm a big fan of general sci fi. Star Wars being my favourite of all. Went through The Expanse, Foundation, a bit of Star Trek and others. This one always had a spot in my watchlist and gave it a try. I saw the original movie and the first 2 episodes of SG-1, I think this is the right order. It kinda remind me of... X-Files? Yeah the same 90s vibes help making this feeling. But also this is a story of real human institutions working and dealing with a supernatural/alien/monster phenomena. The FBI for X-Files, and the military in here.
Just saw the second episode of season 1 today. It has a cool concept witch you may know what it is. One thing I like so far is the very clear definition for the rules around the star gates themselves. You need that to do good worldbuilding. The maing crew itself resambles Star Trek for sure, some of you may know who is who.
Anyways, this one looks good.
As the title says. Early in the morning today I woke up finding out I had a nightfall. Doesn't even qualify as a wet dream, because what can remember from sleep is that I was taking a piss or something.
This was a very rough night though, because last night was Brazil vs Haiti and as you might know, Brazil won and I'm brazilian.. and people here are craaaazy for football. They screamed, played loud music and fired fireworks until 2 am. I might have only slept for some 4 or 5 hours and this sure may have affected.
I really thought I had a relapse for a moment and almost went to reset the timer, but decided to continue my day. Even as a single nightfall I feel a little dizzy, not with that energy from 24 hours ago. Last relapse was in may, and wanted to go through all of june cuz this is my birthday month. 25 years on this Earth and at least in this month I'm almost always able to go clean.
But nightfall is a mess. Anyways, have a good day.
Eu planejava ficar na empresa indefinidamente, até pelo menos meus projetos pessoais rendessem mais que um salário por mês. Mas de repente, tipo, numa quarta feira aleatória, o diretor da unidade faz uma reunião dizendo que a empresa vai se mudar pra OUTRA CIDADE, sem nunca terem consultado ou avisado ninguém antes. Atualmente eu só faço 20 minutos de bicicleta pra ir. Agora precisaria viajar 20 quilômetros, gastando dinheiro com transporte e muito mais tempo de viagem. Esse anúncio foi a 2 meses e desde então praticamente a equipe inteira tá saindo aos poucos. A localização que escolheram foi tão ruim que até os funcionários da cidade que se mudaram estão saindo.
Planejava ainda ficar até o final do ano juntando mais um pouco, mas depois de pesar muito bem os prós e contras, vai ser melhor mesmo sair. Acontece que é um subemprego que paga só o mínimo, e o vale alimentação nunca foi corrigido pela inflação desde 2023. Se fosse realmente uma profissão prestigiada ou que pagasse realmente um bom salário até justificaria uma viagem dessas. Mas até meus colegas endividados estão saindo porque fica realmente contra-produtivo ficar nele.
Todas as coisas precisam de um fim, pelo jeito. Tem coisas na vida que vale a pena se sacrificar mas não por isso, foi a conclusão que cheguei.
I finished the main story mode just yesterday. The journey of Arthur Morgan is absolute cinema in itself. But its been a while since I wanted my own adventure. I got this fanfic in my head about the same man living in different universes, always as the same person: an adventurer, a man of action who gets things done. In Star Wars he is a mandalorian mercenary. In Game of Thrones he is a hedge knight. Here... I don't know. I'm not into bounty hunting tbh. Just shooting who needs to be shot. Anyways, this day is the day my journey begins.
