Forced to quit by system

I get forced to close the game quite often for some reason. I don't know if the machine kind of gets overwhelmed at stuff loading or if there might be something wrong with my save file. I get the message quite a lot that there was an error and I have to go back to my switch's main menu and start the game over. I was wondering if this happens to other people a lot or if this is something that is more rare than that. I was also wondering if it does happen to other people a lot how they deal with it.

Thanks very much for taking the time to read and respond I really appreciate it.

Red Dead redemption 2 PS4 install

was going to a company this post with some photos but I'm unable to do it for some reason... Anyway here's my issue. I'm trying to install Red Dead redemption 2 on my ps4. I get the message to insert the data disc and do so. It does its thing and installs and then prompts me for disc 2, the play disc. When I insert that, it runs for a little while and installs a little bit more but eventually, completely stops and then exits to the main menu of the console and there is a pause icon where the game is on the menu. Both the data disc in the play disc are in perfect condition which is actually what I wanted to show in the photos... I guess I was wondering if anybody has any tricks that might get me over the hump and allow me to install the game.

Thanks so much for anybody who reads and responds to this. I truly appreciate your time.

Kentucky

Can somebody tell me what I can do to help out the fight in kentucky? I want to do as much as I can for the effort to keep this from getting banned here. I'm sorry if it's an obvious thing, I'm not so politically savvy.

As always, if you take the time to read and reply to this I really appreciate it.

I want to contribute

This is my first posting here so I hope to help with what people are looking for. This is an S class for me starship. I was on the space station about 6 or 7 minutes when I turned around and saw this in the landing Bay. If there is more information that people usually look for listed in the comments and I will know better for next time. Otherwise, I just wanted to contribute and help out. If I did mess up somehow, just kindly say so I'm sort of an anxious person and I don't want to cause any troubles.

Good luck out there.

Small tear in my fellowship copy

So I bought this book at a used bookshop not long ago. I was reading it when I came upon this page. I was wondering what other people might do in this particular case. Leave it be? Run a bit of Scotch tape over the tear to strengthen the page? I don't exactly plan to get rid of this book so it's not like I am trying to make sure I can make it keep its value or anything like that. I just obviously don't want it to get any worse.

Thanks very much for anyone who takes the time to read this and respond, I really appreciate it.

I hope everyone has a happy day.

RG40xx H power off question

I have One of these RG40xx H consoles. I'm running Knulli on it and it works great.

There was something I've been wondering because I heard two opposite points of view on an issue.

I know that the battery life in standby mode for this device gets eaten up pretty quickly but things that don't turn off on the system like Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. There or a few times when I first got the device that battery drained quickly and I didn't know why. I understand now obviously but, here's the question I have.

I watched a setup video when I got the device by a fellow on YouTube that did a pretty good job of explaining how to change the console options. He explained What I just finished explaining about the Wi-Fi and the Bluetooth and standby mode. His suggestion to this was to completely shut down the system by holding the power button until it turned off. That seems fine to me but not very long ago I read in opposing point of view that said you shouldn't do this because it could really hurt the memory on the system. The thing I read told me that you should always go through the menus and shut down the system instead.

I suppose it's a simple question for which way is the most correct? Are they both safe? Did I read something that had some incorrect information?

I obviously don't want to hurt the console so, I thought I'd check with some people who know a bit better about these things than I do.

Thanks very much for taking the time to read this and also if you respond, I appreciate your time very much.

Futurama game

Does anybody remember several years back a Futurama Android game? I think it was a match three or four type of game. If so, is there anybody that can point me to a place where I can download it and play it again myself? Or, I know there's a possibility that it was connected to some network thing and won't even load if I do find a copy to download.

Thanks so much for chiming in on this if you do. I just miss this game.

Just a quick question about the stock sd..

Pretty sure I know the answer to this but I was wondering if the SD card that came with my anbernic device is as bad as any other SD card that would come with the other systems you see online. I had a thought that since it came from Anbernic it could be a better card than the other companies?

To be clear...I have indeed used a separate much more reputable card after I got the device in the mail. I immediately switched to the new reputable card when I got the device. It was just an idol question really.

RG40 XX H

I hope I have applied the correct flair here, if not I apologize.

Not long ago I made a post asking folks their opinion on which new console I should grab. I fell upon this one.

Right out of the box I think it's a pretty nifty system so far. It's also meeting my expectations mostly so far.

I'm not going to ask for it much advice as I'm sure there are plenty of posts doing so. I was just hoping perhaps somebody could point me toward either an older post someone has already made either on Reddit or perhaps a video that they can recommend for an optimal setup for this device.

I have a different SD card that I'm going to throw into it and I'm sort of assuming you can install custom firmware...?... Maybe? I'm not exactly new to this realm of handheld consoles but I'm not exactly someone who I would say is even a moderate user.

Thanks very much for reading and responding. It means a lot and though I'm relatively new to this community I really, really enjoy being a part of it.

Looking for a memory

This might be a weird one for people who don't remember this exactly.

There used to be a feature in, what I believe they called at the time Google Now. That allowed you to tap a button to listen to the telly and it would tell you based on the audio what you were watching. I remember missing it when it wasn't there anymore and think that if it were still a thing I would probably use it today.

I suppose the question I have is, is there anything out there in the Android verse that is like this at all? It seems like these days it would be a trivial chore for some app to accomplish.

If you read an answered this, thanks very much for doing so. I hope everybody has a happy day.

Looking for a new handheld console

It was suggested by someone in a different Reddit that I tried to post this here as well as there for additional input.... AM new to this community so I tried to edit that post to be acceptable for this one but, I may have missed something so if there is some confusion somewhere I apologize.

I'm looking for a new retro handheld console.

I bought an r36 Max about a year ago. I really enjoyed that console but, I accidentally fried it one day when was away from home and asked someone for a USB charger so I could charge my console. They handed me an old block charger and I plugged it into the console and immediately I think destroyed it. I noticed that after about an hour I would get no response from trying to turn it on. The charging light would come on but that's the only activity I was able to coax from it.

A closer inspection of the charger I was handed told me that the output it had was way way more than the console could handle. After I inspected the console itself I noticed that the power button had begun to melt inside the plastic. Anyway... Lesson learned, always check out any power devices that are unfamiliar to you if you want to plug them into your own stuff. They didn't tell me that it was a super fast charger in disguise and I didn't ask because it honestly looked like it was older tech.

Let there be a PSA for anybody who didn't know, these devices are absolutely not designed for fast charging yet. If you plug something with a high output into your device, you risk doing the exact same thing I did.

I'm not looking to be chided or chastised about the mistake if anybody can help it. I felt like a big enough moron over the incident as it is and we all live and learn since we're only human. Anyway that's not what this posting is about....

I put my poor deceased friend back in his case and zipped it up for the last time like putting a corpse in a body bag. I do have one more question about that corpse but I'll get to that in a bit.

That was several months ago. I'm looking to buy another console for just about in the same price range. Something budget or slightly above that that I can get my hands on that will do basically the same thing or better.

I know technology moves fast at times and I don't actually know what strides have been made in the little pocket emulator hobby that we all love. When I started digging around within the last week or so I saw that there is now actually a successor to the r36 Max the Max2. I thought about pulling a trigger on that one but I decided to come here to ask A few questions first.

Does this console offer anything more than a bigger screen and a removable joystick that the console I originally had didn't have?

Does anybody have any opinions on this console good or bad either way?

I didn't really have any issues with The Max. It did what I wanted it to. I didn't care if it was a clone or not or in its own category even. It booted the games and played them for the most part. It seems like I had the same sort of issues that everybody else did like the headphone jack, the Wi-Fi issue etc..

I thought it felt pretty decent when you held it and for the most part I was okay with the way the buttons clicked or the way the joysticks moved around. I had a couple issues with the actual d-pad but it could have been just my particular console that was the issue.

Knowing what I had before and having somewhere between 40 and $80 to spend on a new gadget would you get the same thing? Should I go for the Max 2? Is there a console that someone has tried out who tries out many of these consoles that has one that stands out to them in about that price range? I don't mean like an advocate for someone like me who has only ever bought that one emulator and raves about it... I hope that makes sense. For example because I only ever bought the original Max, I might automatically say that was the best one that I ever tried..

I've never cared if something was a clone or not because all I wanted to do was something I could grab when my girlfriend and I are at her extravagantly long horse shows... So in the end as long as it turns on and plays them and you have fun isn't that the real experience you're chasing?

I'm sorry for being so long-winded. I usually am when I'm writing. Also if there are any typos anywhere it's because I'm doing text to speech.

The TLDR of all of this I guess is... Could you drop a few sentences about what you think the best 40 to $80 handheld is, and maybe a quick line or two about that particular consoles advantage over the others. It doesn't have to be fancy.

If something is slightly higher priced I could be convinced for sure but like a whole bunch of other people I'm mostly paycheck to paycheck.

I really love being a part of these kinds of communities Every question I've ever postulated in them has been met with civility and thoughtfulness. If you take the time to read this and write a response as always, I truly thank you. I don't know that I could ever repay the kindness but I can certainly pay it forward to someone else in my own way.

OH! I almost forgot... My poor deceased console... Is everything on the inside of that device fried? Like, is there anybody out there who could still use it for spare parts? The screen, the battery you know whatever... It's practically no good to me anymore or is it?

Thanks, my friends.

Soundtrack playlist

Is there anywhere I can go to find all of the songs in one group? I know YouTube has several of them but not all of them for copyright purposes. Is there anywhere out there to hear all of the music from the show?

Inventory

Can somebody help me out with my inventory a bit? I feel like I'm holding onto things that could absolutely be useless or worth money in the thought that I MIGHT need any particular item at some point. I'm forever trying to decide what to get rid of. I never have any open space and I constantly hear that bird tell me that they're is no space in my inventory for whatever I'm trying to grab.

I guess I'm asking if somebody can help me by sort of telling me what the most important things I should be collecting and looking for are so I can cut out all the rest of the clutter.

I found this old coupon for a free rental of the PS2 version of Socom: Navy Seals. I don't remember why I didn't cash it in.

I really want to play some super Mario ROM hacks but I'm an absolute beginner to doing so. To give you an idea of how much a beginner I am, I'm not quite sure what a patch is. I have an idea but I don't know how to apply patches or really the correct files to download. I've done several searches but didn't come up with much in the way of What I need to download and even how to put the games together on the SD card so I can play them. Can somebody point me to an easy to understand guide or video that details these things please?

If your responding to this I really appreciate your time and effort.
