Ive read the big three, what to read next?
Ive read Meditations, the Enchiridion and the Letters to Lucilius. Are there any more modern books you would recommend? What about fiction?

Do you think Dorn used political marriages to secure some of the Inwit Cluster? Would he have had children? Are there little half primarch children running around Inwit? Did Dorn fuck?
Gregory Hays translation.
For me its their commitment to excellence. Its oddly motivating.
For example the SASR is described as a regiment (typically 1,000+ personnel) but only has 300 members.
The ROKs 1st Special Missions Brigade sent two battalions to the National Assembly but that was a total of 250 operators which is closer to a company sized unit.
Im sure theres other examples. Does this question make sense?
What are some simple principles you follow/aspire towards at work?
I am now torn between the Imperial Fists and the Ulties.
Im liking their roman aesthetic and "Courage and Honour" is a much more catchy motto than the Imperial Fists overly convoluted mess of a war cry.
On the other hand I like the Fists for their determination and stoicism. Plus the Ulties are a bunch of boy scouts so I dont know what to do.
At 0100 hours next Tuesday, three strike missions are sent against the scam centres in the three target countries.
The Laos and Cambodia missions consist of a dozen H6 strategic bombers. The Myanmar mission has the same plus a half a dozen J20 stealth fighters to deal with Myanmar's pissweak airforce.
The H6 bombers each drop a dozen 1000kg incendiary bombs loaded with white phosphorous. Thousands of scammers die screaming in the resulting firestorm.
China makes a public announcement declaring the three countries have 6 months to eradicate the scam cartels before the next mission is sent.
Last night (Australian time) i had the honour of fighting alongside two ultramarines who more or less carried me to wave 20. Previously I've never made it past wave 10.
Thankyou to the freakishly skilled tactical marine Getpower who the enemy seemingly couldn't touch and thankyou to the tech marine with the complicated numerical name who patiently revived me every few minutes after we got past wave 16.
You both held up to the chapters words of courage and honour and Guilliman would be proud of you.
The inquisition has a very small footprint in Ultramar and the population seems a bit less frothingly zealous compared to the rest of Imperium.
Then again I'm a 10th company newbie and have no idea what I'm talking about.
Body text.
Trying to plan a holiday for 2027.
TLDR: "Taking RCP8.5 off the table is a sign of progress – we’ve avoided the worst-case scenario. But we have also missed the best case future.
The next five years could play out in many different ways, leading to better or worse future climates. We must understand and prepare for what we’re facing – and double down on our efforts to create the best future possible."
What if the taser was single or double shot and only stunned people for a couple of seconds in which time Sam has to get to them, tie them up and gag them so they can't raise the alarm. The taser itself would be relatively loud when it goes off.
Instead of the usual Hollywood taser that knocks targets magically unconscious.
Just to make life difficult for people like me that abuse the stun gun to boost their Ghost score.
tldr: article about how other measurements such as HDI could be a better metric for measuring economic success now that the world economy is about to go tits up.
Has anyone tried doing 6 weeks of three 25 minute medium intensity cardio workouts per week just to see if their fitness age goes down by tbe full 6 years?
